Simulated battle sounds between the Ancient Britons
("Celts", perhaps Brigantes or Caledonians [Vacomagi, Taexali, Venicones]) versus Roman legions.
Carnyx were employed in battles including Mons Graupius, Boudicca's rebellion (Camulodunum, Londinium, Watling Street), Siege of Alesia, Mons Graupius, Bibracte, Gergovia, attack of Delphi in 279 BC.
Featured is the sound of a real carnyx (Deskford replica) playing imagined battlefield signals. Vocal orders are in Welsh (closest to Ancient Briton- including a taunt to Rome, to the ready, infantry advance, and chariots flank). Effort was made to create trumpet signals that suit the tumult of war.

Óscar es un taxista extrovertido y buena gente, que se preocupa por los demás, pero que tiene una única debilidad y esta es la rumba. La historia comienza con Óscar ofreciéndole a Jéssica llevarla al trabajo, la cual no duda en aceptar solo por interés, pero que a Óscar ella le fascina. En el camino, Jéssica habla de su sueño dorado de vivir en un edificio lujoso y él fanfarroneando le dice que al ganarse la lotería le comprará su apartamento y le pedirá matrimonio. Jéssica se burla de él, pero Óscar en aras de demostrarle la seriedad de sus palabras, se detiene a comprar un boleto de lotería. Óscar está decidido a conquistarla, pues cree que Jéssica es la mujer buena y decente para formar un hogar, pero él no sabe que ella es la amante de Rodolfo, su jefe en la inmobiliaria donde trabaja y el novio de Tatiana Gómez, una bellísima, inteligente y adinerada mujer. La relación de Tatiana y Rodolfo pasa por un momento difícil, pues él en vez de proponerle matrimonio, le propone ser socios y Tatiana se decepciona. Óscar tratando de recuperar la plata perdida en el boleto de lotería, reserva una carrera y se encuentra con Tatiana, quien se dirige al cementerio. En el taxi, Tatiana discute con Rodolfo y rompe su relación con él. Óscar deja a Tatiana en el cementerio y al llegar a la tumba, se sorprende al no ver a nadie allí, pero se sorprende aún más cuando Óscar se ofrece a acompañarla y rezar con ella. Ella muy triste, le propone a Óscar manejar durante horas por toda la ciudad para huir de sus problemas. Óscar la invita a un trago el cual ella acepta y a partir de allí surge una fuerte atracción entre ellos, pese a sus diferencias sociales. Finalmente Óscar lleva a Tatiana a su casa, algo pasada de tragos y al llegar se encuentran con Rodolfo y los propietarios de Fontainebleau , edificio en el que ella vive y del cual es la presidenta del concejo. Luego, Óscar le comenta a su mejor amigo Henry que conoció la mujer más encantadora y bella, pero se lamenta porque cree que jamás la volverá a ver. Esa misma noche Óscar se gana la lotería y celebra con una gran fiesta. Los vecinos le pasan esta pues lo ven como una mina de oro. Jéssica repentinamente le presta atención a Óscar y le recuerda la promesa que le hizo. Días después Óscar está en la inmobiliaria donde trabaja Tatiana cerrando el negocio del apartamento que su madre Doña Ruca había comenzado, para asegurar que él invirtiera bien su dinero y es así como Tatiana y Óscar quedan viviendo frente a frente en el mismo edificio Fontainebleau. Le llegada de Óscar transformará al edificio y lo acercará aún más a Tatiana. Sin embargo, no faltarán los conflictos entre ellos, debido al comportamiento bullicioso de Óscar y a los constantes problemas que se generarán con el resto de vecinos. Sólo la llegada de Almita, la hermana menor de Óscar, les demostrará que a pesar de todo, están hechos el uno para el otro.

When it gets flat in NJ, and the boys see a 6ft South swell heading towards New York, they hit the road for a week of fun, adventure, and a last day score. This is Gone Nowhere, Montauk.

Percy Shelley was thinking along similar lines when he composed the closing stanza of his magnificent poem "Ozymandias". The title character might have been a great and terrible king in ancient days, but now his vast lands and enterprises amount to little more than dust:
"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
Existence is fragile, our fates beyond knowing. Tomorrow it could all be...gone. "Beautiful Desolation" is what's left in the aftermath...

Venicones
The Venicones were a people of ancient Britain, known only from a single mention of them by the geographer Ptolemy c. 150 AD. He recorded that their town was 'Orrea'. This has been identified as the Roman fort of Horrea Classis, located by Rivet and Smith as Monifieth, six miles east of Dundee. Therefore, they are presumed to have lived between the Tay and the Mounth, south of Aberdeen. Andrew Breeze has suggested that the tribal name probably means "hunting hounds". A slightly differing etymology, "kindred hounds", identifies the name with Maen Gwyngwn, a region mentioned in the Gododdin.

King Arthur
King Arthur is a legendary British leader who, according to medieval histories and romances, led the defence of Britain against Saxon invaders in the late 5th and early 6th centuries AD. The details of Arthur's story are mainly composed of folklore and literary invention, and his historical existence is debated and disputed by modern historians. The sparse historical background of Arthur is gleaned from various sources, including the Annales Cambriae, the Historia Brittonum, and the writings of Gildas. Arthur's name also occurs in early poetic sources such as Y Gododdin.
Arthur is a central figure in the legends making up the so-called Matter of Britain. The legendary Arthur developed as a figure of international interest largely through the popularity of Geoffrey of Monmouth's fanciful and imaginative 12th-century Historia Regum Britanniae (History of the Kings of Britain). In some Welsh and Breton tales and poems that date from before this work, Arthur appears either as a great warrior defending Britain from human and supernatural enemies or as a magical figure of folklore, sometimes associated with the Welsh Otherworld, Annwn. How much of Geoffrey's Historia (completed in 1138) was adapted from such earlier sources, rather than invented by Geoffrey himself, is unknown.

Percy Shelley was thinking along similar lines when he composed the closing stanza of his magnificent poem "Ozymandias". The title character might have been a great and terrible king in ancient days, but now his vast lands and enterprises amount to little more than dust: "My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings: Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!" La historia comienza con Óscar ofreciéndole a Jéssica llevarla al trabajo, la cual no duda en aceptar solo por interés, pero que a Óscar ella le fascina. En el camino, Jéssica habla de su sueño dorado de vivir en un edificio lujoso y él fanfarroneando le dice que al ganarse la lotería le comprará su apartamento y le pedirá matrimonio. Jéssica se burla de él, pero Óscar en aras de demostrarle la seriedad de sus palabras, se detiene a comprar un boleto de lotería. Óscar está decidido a conquistarla, pues cree que Jéssica es la mujer buena y decente para formar un hogar, pero él no sabe que ella es la amante de Rodolfo, su jefe en la inmobiliaria donde trabaja y el novio de Tatiana Gómez, una bellísima, inteligente y adinerada mujer. La relación de Tatiana y Rodolfo pasa por un momento difícil, pues él en vez de proponerle matrimonio, le propone ser socios y Tatiana se decepciona. Óscar tratando de recuperar la plata perdida en el boleto de lotería, reserva una carrera y se encuentra con Tatiana, quien se dirige al cementerio. En el taxi, Tatiana discute con Rodolfo y rompe su relación con él. Óscar deja a Tatiana en el cementerio y al llegar a la tumba, se sorprende al no ver a nadie allí, pero se sorprende aún más cuando Óscar se ofrece a acompañarla y rezar con ella. Ella muy triste, le propone a Óscar manejar durante horas por toda la ciudad para huir de sus problemas. Óscar la invita a un trago el cual ella acepta y a partir de allí surge una fuerte atracción entre ellos, pese a sus diferencias sociales. Finalmente Óscar lleva a Tatiana a su casa, algo pasada de tragos y al llegar se encuentran con Rodolfo y los propietarios de Fontainebleau , edificio en el que ella vive y del cual es la presidenta del concejo. Luego, Óscar le comenta a su mejor amigo Henry que conoció la mujer más encantadora y bella, pero se lamenta porque cree que jamás la volverá a ver. Esa misma noche Óscar se gana la lotería y celebra con una gran fiesta. Los vecinos le pasan esta pues lo ven como una mina de oro. Jéssica repentinamente le presta atención a Óscar y le recuerda la promesa que le hizo. Días después Óscar está en la inmobiliaria donde trabaja Tatiana cerrando el negocio del apartamento que su madre Doña Ruca había comenzado, para asegurar que él invirtiera bien su dinero y es así como Tatiana y Óscar quedan viviendo frente a frente en el mismo edificio Fontainebleau. Le llegada de Óscar transformará al edificio y lo acercará aún más a Tatiana.
