In the first episode of the Sathorn series Dwight checks into the Somerset Park on Suan Phlu Road. The room on the 22nd floor is spacious and would be good for families or people spending an extended amount of time in the area.

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen would have come in handy if there wasn't so much food available. The area has a lot of street food and after touring the hotel room, Dwight explores Suan Phlu around lunch time to find something to eat.
Dwight finally ends up on Suan Phlu Soi 8, which is directly across from Suan Phlu Market. The small street has a flurry of restaurants open on both sides of the street for lunch. We visit Baan Bai Phlu which is a vegetarian restaurant about 7 years old. The restaurant opens at about 5:30am and when we show up around lunch, many of the items have already sold out. The restaurant is frequented by Thais and foreigners in the area alike, so go early. The food is cheap and the meal I had cost about $2.

In this episode we head over to Chan Road, which is a good place to start a street food hunt in Bangkok. This neighborhood is an old Chinese trading area, so you'll especially see the Chinese influence in the style of shops and cuisine.
We start at Tee Yai Muay Lek a vendor selling oversized Thai-Chinese donuts. Then head to stalls lining the street between Chan Road 18/3 and 18/5. There are plenty to choose from, but we decide on egg noodles.
The egg noodles at this small uncle and aunt cart are popular because they are made with crab meat and shrimp dumplings. In addition to the taste of seafood you also have pork, spring onions, and all the condiments in a regular Thai noodle dish.
The evening ends at Junker and Bar on Suan Phlu near the hotel. See the Sathorn guide for all the details on these Bangkok hangouts.

This episode starts the second day in Sathorn and the 5th episode of the series on this district of Bangkok.
The day starts simple enough in the small morning market on Suan Phlu road. The market is directly across from Suan Phlu Soi 8 and is one of the reasons the area is a good choice for hunting street food. Unfortunately not long after coming in, we were told we couldn't film inside the market, that's a first!
No worries, we let the market set out for Kai, a New Zealand inspired restaurant. There we had a feast for brunch, especially the photogenic and tasty eggs benedict.

Sathon District
Sathon or Sathorn (Thai: สาทร; IPA: [sǎː.tʰɔ̄ːn]) is one of the 50 districts (Khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. The district is bounded by six other districts (from north clockwise): Bang Rak, Pathum Wan, Khlong Toei, Yan Nawa, Bang Kho Laem, and Khlong San (across Chao Phraya River).
History
Sathon district was once part of Yan Nawa. Due to its large area and population, first a branch district office of Yan Nawa was set up on 9 March 1989 to serve the people in 3 Khwaeng of Yan Nawa. And then on 9 November 1989, the Sathon district is established inheriting the area once served by the branch office.
The district is named after the Sathon Road and Khlong Sathon. Khlong Sathon, the older of the two, is a canal dug for public transportation by a Chinese company. The Chinese owner was later granted the name Luang Sathon Racha Yut (หลวงสาทรราชายุตก์) by King Chulalongkorn for her accomplishment. Along both sides of the canal later became Sathon Road. Incorrect Thai spelling for Sathon สาธร had been used for very long time but it has been corrected since April 1999.

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen would have come in handy if there wasn't so much food available. The area has a lot of street food and after touring the hotel room, Dwight explores Suan Phlu around lunch time to find something to eat.
Dwight finally ends up on Suan Phlu Soi 8, which is directly across from Suan Phlu Market. The small street has a flurry of restaurants open on both sides of the street for lunch. We visit Baan Bai Phlu which is a vegetarian restaurant about 7 years old. The restaurant opens at about 5:30am and when we show up around lunch, many of the items have already sold out. The restaurant is frequented by Thais and foreigners in the area alike, so go early. The food is cheap and the meal I had cost about $2.

The Bangkok Mass Transit System, commonly known as the BTS or the Skytrain, is an elevated rapid transit system in Bangkok, Thailand. It is operated by Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC) under a concession granted by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). The system consists of 34 stations along two lines: the Sukhumvit Line running northwards and eastwards, terminating at Mo Chit and Bearing respectively, and the Silom Line which plies Silom and Sathon Roads, the Central Business District of Bangkok, terminating at the National Stadium and Bang Wa. The lines interchange at Siam Station and have a combined route length of 36.45 kilometers (22.65 mi). The system is formally known as the Elevated Train in Commemoration of HM the King's 6th Cycle Birthday.
Besides the BTS, Bangkok's metro system also comprises the underground railway line MRT, and the elevated Suvarnabhumi Airport Link (SARL), serving several stations in the city before reaching the airport.

This period of high technologies is the age of wisdoms. The wise men will seek for the noble truths of media for self ending of suffering. The stupid one will become a prey of greed, lust and hatred one. This social media mass may serve both the right and wrong views. This social media may serve both for the right and wrong thoughts.
