Film by www.OSGUI.com Tech Show I filmed first half with my new digital video camera and the last half is created with screencasts. It just works Ubuntu has the GSM software built into the Network Manager when I connected the phone it popped up with a new connection wizard and a list of all the Australian Mobile Broadband Service Providers and their network versions and configurations. It's much cheaper to use a old Nokia mobile phone as a modem than to buy a USB modem just for the job, although they are said to work in Linux too.
