Feel the exam fear - but think of it as excitement

Kate’s mouth is dry, her stomach twisting and her heart beating fast as her clammy hands open the exam paper. What is Kate experiencing at this moment? Some might guess anxiety or fear. But actually she would describe her feelings while reading through the exam questions quite differently. Think again ... That sentence was ... So it’s easier to harness anxiety in a mental aikido throw by saying the words “I feel excited” out loud....

This writer often hears stories about how strict this or that teacher is, or how tough their dojo is. It is worn like a badge of honor that states. “I can take it!” The question is. Is this really Aikido. or any martial art for that matter?. It is historically a fact that O Sensei’s dojo during the 1930’s was called the “hell dojo” by his students ... There are many schools of Aikido, just as in the other martial arts ... Good training ... ....
