Kerr addresses immigration ban: 'We could be breeding anger and terror'
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr hasn't shied away in the past over expressing his thoughts about now President of the United States Donald Trump, his policies, or his controversial actions.
Trump's newly instituted executive order barring citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the country for 90 days has a large portion of the American population rattled, including Kerr.
"I would just say that as someone whose family member was a victim of terrorism, having lost my father, if we're trying to combat terrorism by banishing people from coming to this country, by ... really going against the principles of what our country is about and creating fear, it's the wrong way to go about it," Kerr told reporters following his team's victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday night, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.
"If anything, we could be breeding anger and terror, so I'm completely against what's happening. I think it's shocking. It's a horrible idea, and I feel for all of the people who are affected. Families are being torn apart, and I worry, in the big picture, what this means to the security of the world. It's going about it completely opposite. You want to solve terror, you want to solve crime. This is not the way to do it."
Kerr added that he's talked with his players about issues in the country, although they have yet to chat about the Muslim ban because of their schedule.

Bill Kerr
William Henry Kerr (10 June 1922 – 28 August 2014), credited as Bill Kerr, was a South African-born Australian actor, comedian and vaudevillian. Beginning as a child performer in Australia, he moved to Britain after World War II and developed a career as a performer in comedy, especially gaining notice in the radio version of Hancock's Half Hour. In 1979 Kerr returned to Australia and developed a second career as a character actor.
Early life in Australia
Kerr was born William Henry Kerr in Cape Town, South Africa, on 10 June 1922 to an Australian performing arts family, growing up in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. His career in show business began when he was very young. Wilton, his son, recalled: "His mum used him instead of using a prop, a baby prop, she actually used her son, her newborn son, so he was literally kind of born to do it."
Kerr began to work in radio for ABC in 1932, and continued performing child parts for about 8 years. His first screen appearance was in Harmony Row (1933), where he gives a feisty performance as a juvenile delinquent alongside the great Australian vaudeville comedian George Wallace. Kerr's first dramatic role on screen was a high-profile one in the Cinesound film The Silence of Dean Maitland (1934), where he displays striking presence as a blind child. Kerr is one of the most important child performers in early Australian film. He saw service in the Australian army during the Second World War, and performed in theatrical shows at home and abroad and toured with his friend, the actor Peter Finch.

Anna Wintour
Anna Wintour, OBE (/ˈwɪntər/; born 3 November 1949) is the English editor-in-chief of American Vogue, a position she has held since 1988. In 2013, she became artistic director for Condé Nast, Vogue's publisher. With her trademark pageboy bob haircut and dark sunglasses, Wintour has become an important figure in much of the fashion world, widely praised for her eye for fashion trends and her support for younger designers. Her reportedly aloof and demanding personality has earned her the nickname "Nuclear Wintour."
She is the eldest daughter of Charles Wintour, editor of the London Evening Standard. Her father consulted her on how to make the newspaper relevant to the youth of the era. Anna became interested in fashion as a teenager. Her career in fashion journalism began at two British magazines. Later, she moved to the United States, with stints at New York and House & Garden. She returned home for a year to turn around British Vogue, and later assumed control of the franchise's magazine in New York, reviving what many saw as a stagnating publication. Her use of the magazine to shape the fashion industry has been the subject of debate within it. Animal rights activists have attacked her for promoting fur, while other critics have charged her with using the magazine to promote elitist views of femininity and beauty.

Kerr addresses immigration ban: 'We could be breeding anger and terror'
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr hasn't shied away in the past over expressing his thoughts about now President of the United States Donald Trump, his policies, or his controversial actions.
Trump's newly instituted executive order barring citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the country for 90 days has a large portion of the American population rattled, including Kerr.
"I would just say that as someone whose family member was a victim of terrorism, having lost my father, if we're trying to combat terrorism by banishing people from coming to this country, by ... really going against the principles of what our country is about and creating fear, it's the wrong way to go about it," Kerr told reporters following his team's victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday night, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.
"If anything, we could be breeding anger and terror, so I'm completely against what's happening. I think it's shocking. It's a horrible idea, and I feel for all of the people who are affected. Families are being torn apart, and I worry, in the big picture, what this means to the security of the world. It's going about it completely opposite. You want to solve terror, you want to solve crime. This is not the way to do it."

The series starred Tony Hancock, with Sid James; the radio version also co-starred, at various times, Moira Lister, Andrée Melly, Hattie Jacques, Bill Kerr and Kenneth Williams. The final television series, renamed simply Hancock, starred Hancock alone.
Comedian Tony Hancock starred in the show, playing an exaggerated and much poorer version of his own character and lifestyle, Anthony Aloysius St John Hancock, a down-at-heel comedian living at the dilapidated 23 Railway Cuttings in East Cheam.

A 60-second version of the Super Bowl Commercial 2017 will air in the first quarter of Super Bowl 51. It is Buick’s second year in a row advertising during the Super Bowl, launching seven new Buick models in under 24 months.

The Super Bowl Commercial 2017, aptly titled “Pee Wee,” takes place at a Pee Wee football game where two dads are in the stands watching their kids play. As a #buick pulls into the parking lot, one of the men says, “Check out that Buick!” with delight. The other dad says, “If that’s a #buick, then my kid is #camnewton,” and an interesting turn of events follows.

Today #buick unveiled a new Super Bowl Commercial 2017starring NFL MVP #camnewton and supermodel #mirandakerr. The Super Bowl Commercial 2017 invites fans to “Experience the New Buick” by resetting expectations about the brand’s modern vehicles. The lighthearted Super Bowl Commercial 2017 shows surprising reactions to the beauty and sophistication of #buick vehicles such as the #encore #suv and #cascada convertible and provokes viewers with its “That’s a Buick?” theme.
A 60-second version of the Super Bowl Commercial 2017 will air in the first quarter of Super Bowl 51. It is Buick’s second year in a row advertising during the Super Bowl, launching seven new Buick models in under 24 months.

The Super Bowl Commercial 2017, aptly titled “Pee Wee,” takes place at a Pee Wee football game where two dads are in the stands watching their kids play. As a #buick pulls into the parking lot, one of the men says, “Check out that Buick!” with delight. The other dad says, “If that’s a #buick, then my kid is #camnewton,” and an interesting turn of events follows.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr hasn't shied away in the past over expressing his thoughts about now President of the United States Donald Trump, his policies, or his controversial actions.
Trump's newly instituted executive order barring citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the country for 90 days has a large portion of the American population rattled, including Kerr.
"I would just say that as someone whose family member was a victim of terrorism, having lost my father, if we're trying to combat terrorism by banishing people from coming to this country, by ... really going against the principles of what our country is about and creating fear, it's the wrong way to go about it," Kerr told reporters following his team's victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday night, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.
"If anything, we could be breeding anger and terror, so I'm completely against what's happening. I think it's shocking. It's a horrible idea, and I feel for all of the people who are affected. Families are being torn apart, and I worry, in the big picture, what this means to the security of the world. It's going about it completely opposite. You want to solve terror, you want to solve crime. This is not the way to do it."
Kerr added that he's talked with his players about issues in the country, although they have yet to chat about the Muslim ban because of their schedule.

A female prison guard has spoken of savage beatings and killings at a North Korean camp. Lim Hye-jin says she was so traumatised that she could not eat for days afterwards. One of the worst episodes was the killing of seven family members of two brothers who managed to escape. Many more prisoners were beaten as revenge for the prison breakout.
