Bill Hoest (February 7, 1926 – November 15, 1988) was an American cartoonist best known as the creator of the gag panel series, The Lockhorns, distributed by King Features Syndicate to 500 newspapers in 23 countries, and Laugh Parade for Parade. He also created other syndicated strips and panels for King Features.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Hoest spent two years in the Navy and studied art at Cooper Union. He started his art career in 1948 as a greeting card designer with Norcross Greeting Cards, continuing in that field until 1951 when he left to become a freelancer. His cartoons soon began appearing in Collier's, Playboy, The Saturday Evening Post and other magazines.
Hoest entered the comic strip community during the 1960s as an assistant on Harry Haenigsen's Penny. After an injury from a 1965 traffic accident kept Haenigsen away from the drawing board, Hoest took over most of the work, although Haenigsen still supervised and signed each Penny strip. In 1970, when Hoest left to start his own strip, My Son John, for the Chicago Tribune New York News Syndicate, Haenigsen chose to end Penny and retired.
Amor, pasión, no sé
Amor, pasión, no sé
Me pones a dudar por ti, mujer
El mundo se somete a tu verdad
Tu piel recuerda a la seda
Cuando acaricias, cuánto me hechizas
Y voy poniéndote la espalda en la pared
Con un beso nos recibe el amanecer
Baby
Baby
Baby
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Baby when you look at me
My heart releases butterflies
We lock eyes, our lips, our hands, our hips
And nobody would disguise
We've got a heavy situation here
This is the first song of our new life
Every beat in between you and me
We need to keep it going all night
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Baby will you work with me
'Cause I can't do it alone tonight
Paralyzed my lips with your finger tips
Girl, I'm in need of love tonight
Well there's a heavy situation here
This is the first dance of our new life
Every beat in between you and me
We need to keep it going all night
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Baby
Baby
Open wide
Now that my body is pill-sized
Rode this wind like a zeppelin did
Are you truly surprised?
Babe i looked you over
I picked your cover over
My lover didn't want to understand
I'm in the business of zoning
Your acrobats are groaning
Your salty words flew over my shoulder
Everybody wants what they can't have
I want everything
He reminds me of the day i turned you in
Everybody wants what they can't have
I want everything, everything
I took a turn i know i'm sorry
I took a turn
With just a wrinkle my heart is a burden
The moonlight is simple we'll darn all the curtains
Bittersweet needle in the bone
Tell me all your favorite words
And in the summer you'll be gone
Oh i moved too soon
Stems and leaves thrown on the sidewalk
I would say that i was a gardener
But regret is a personal fault
Regret is a personal fault
Regret is a personal fault
Regret is a personal fault
With just a wrinkle my heart is a burden
