Singapore Airlines Airbus A350 inflight experience, on one of the first revenue flights on this aircraft, from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore as flight SQ107.
Prior to its official inaugural flight to Amsterdam, the A350 is being deployed on intra-Asian routes for crew familiarization and training. I was able to catch A350 on its 4th operating flight and have a preview of what this next-generation aircraft - described by Singapore Airlines chief executive officer Goh Choon Phong as a "game changer" - offers.
In addition to Amsterdam, The Singapore Airlines A350 will be used to launch non-stop flights to Düsseldorf and to restart non-stop flights to the United States.

Welcome aboard Singapore Airlines' newest First Class cabin on board their new 777-300ER. It was a very comfortable experience and I was impressed with the careful design and features of the seat. It is only found onboard the 777-300ER.

Singapore Airlines A330-300 flight experience, onboard flight SQ949, from Denpasar to Singapore.
This night flight departs from Denpasar (Bali) Ngurah Rai International Airport at 8pm (scheduled time) and arrives in Singapore Changi Airport at 10.40pm (scheduled time), with a travelling time of 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Dinner is served onboard with a choice of lamb curry with rice or chicken with potatoes for the main course. Service provided onboard was generally courteous from the warm and upbeat flight attendants. I had the lamb curry with rice which was a bit salty but tasty nonetheless. It has been a lovely flying experience with Singapore Airlines.

Premium Economy Class is a great way to fly - especially on Singapore Airlines. A very comfortable product coupled with the legendary Singapore Airlines attention to detail and service. I'll show you everything you want to see: including the seat and it's various functions, the food (including 'Book the Cook'), the champagne (yes, SQ offers French bubbles to customers in Premium Economy Class) and many other features that make this a very pleasant journey. Perhaps the best feature is the generous legroom and the 2-4-2 configuration - especially if you are in a pair on either side and you know the person next to you. If you are thinking about investing in Premium Economy, particularly on a long haul flight onto Europe or to the USA, then I hope this video may help you decide if you think it is worth the extra $. I should also mention that in addition to everything you see in this video, Premium Economy customers on Singapore Airlines also have access to dedicated priority check-in counters as well as priority baggage handling, both of which are usually reserved for status customers and/or customers in Business/First. Overall, I find SQ's Premium Economy offering to be very impressive - it certainly feels like more of a watered down business class rather than an upgraded economy class or economy plus. Singapore Airlines operates a hub at Changi Airport and has a strong presence in the Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and "Kangaroo Route" markets. The company also operates trans-Pacific flights, including the world's two longest non-stop commercial flights from Singapore to Newark and Los Angeles on the Airbus A340-500.
Singapore Airlines was the launch customer of Airbus A380, currently the world's largest passenger aircraft. SIA has diversified airline-related businesses, such as aircraft handling and engineering. Welcome aboard Singapore Airlines' newest First Class cabin on board their new 777-300ER. It was a very comfortable experience and I was impressed with the careful design and features of the seat. It is only found onboard the 777-300ER. (8 April 2015) -
Singapore Airlines Flight Experience: SQ949 Denpasar to Singapore
Singapore Airlines A330-300 flight experience, onboard flight SQ949, from Denpasar to Singapore. This night flight departs from Denpasar (Bali) Ngurah Rai International Airport at 8pm (scheduled time) and arrives in Singapore Changi Airport at 10.40pm (scheduled time), with a travelling time of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Dinner is served onboard with a choice of lamb curry with rice or chicken with potatoes for the main course. Service provided onboard was generally courteous from the warm and upbeat flight attendants. I had the lamb curry with rice which was a bit salty but tasty nonetheless. This is one of 67 Airbus A350-900s that Singapore Airlines has purchased to replace older aircraft in their fleet. The aircraft registration number is 9V-SMB and was delivered to SIA on 2016-04-19. The aircraft has a standard 3-3-3 seating layout and seats are equipped with Panasonic's next-generation eX3 in-flight entertainment system. There was a huge number of movies to choose from on my flight and the big screens make a world of difference to while away the 12 hour flight between AMS and SIN. Even the flight map has a number of menus to choose from and measurements can be changed to Metric, Nautical or Imperial among other things. I've included a brief look at the flight map in the movie. This is one of 67 Airbus A350-900s that Singapore Airlines has purchased to replace older aircraft in their fleet. The aircraft registration number is 9V-SMB and was delivered to SIA on 2016-04-19.
The aircraft has a standard 3-3-3 seating layout and seats are equipped with Panasonic's next-generation eX3 in-flight entertainment system. There was a huge number of movies to choose from on my flight and the big screens make a world of difference to while away the 12 hour flight between AMS and SIN.
Even the flight map has a number of menus to choose from and measurements can be changed to Metric, Nautical or Imperial among other things. I've included a brief look at the flight map in the movie.
I was lucky with the seat and had a full window to myself unlike on the return fight unfortunately. My seat number of this flight was 55A.

Welcome to my first report on Singapore Airlines in Business Class continuing from TG931 posted last week, a very luxurious experience!
Some facts:
- This flight was my first time on board Singapore Airlines
- Second time on an Airbus A380
- First time trying Satays and the Singapore Sling
Before this flight I had read countless reports, watched countless videos on Youtube, needless to say my expectations were high and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.
Seat Confort: My wife and I both loved this seat and it’s far superior to anything else we tried. Coupled with the strengths of the A380 and you get a nearly perfect experience. The bulkhead seats deserve perfect marks, in this case, a solid 9.5/10
Crew : Absolutely stunning in every way, available, charming, smiling, genuine, helpful, there is nothing better than being served by people who love their job.
IFE: -1 for the lack of camera and wifi not being free in business class (EK is now offering it for free to its Y passengers)
Catering : The most disappointing part of this flight but it was actually very good except for cheese/desert. The appetizer, the satays and the main courses and champagne were near perfect.
OTP :We arrived on time
SilverKris Lounge : It’s a solid business class lounge, the lack of natural light takes getting used to but could be a strength when needing to sleep there
Changi : Perfect except for the long passport control on departure. Anyone know if there’s a priority lane for premium passengers?
Narita : An ode to Japan, spotless, well designed, signs where they should be, we never once felt lost

This ranks as one of my best flights ever; the crew was absolutely top notch, the food was superb, even by SQ standards, Book the Cook from Zurich is a must although the onboard options were also excellent.
I travelled in the last row of business class, seat 96A and my travel partner was at 96K. Those are great seats and you can find out why by watching the report.
All in all Singapore Airlines can only be recommended despite the hefty price tag, in my opinion they are far superior to any European or US based airlines and better than many Asian carriers, though some come close. The seat itself is a huge advantage. You feel like you are travelling in first rather than business.
