April 13 (Bloomberg) -- United Co. Rusal Chief Executive Officer Oleg Deripaska talked with Bloomberg's Susan Li in Hong Kong yesterday about the company's performance and investment in OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel, Russia's largest mining company. Deripaska also discusses Rusal's $2.2 billion Hong Kong initial public offering. Rusal, the worlds largest aluminum producer, returned to profit last year as demand for metals improved and the value of its 25 percent stake in Norilsk more than doubled. (This is an excerpt. Jan. 27 (Bloomberg) -- United Co. Rusal Ltd. Deputy Chief Executive Officer Artem Volynets talks with Bloomberg's Paul Gordon about the company's initial public share sale in Hong Kong. Shares in the worlds largest aluminum producer fell 8 percent in the trading debut today as demand for new equity waned after the city's benchmark stock index dropped from a November high.
