Promise Keepers is a Christian organization for men. While it originated in the United States, independent branches are established in Canada and New Zealand. It is self-described as "a Christ-centered organization dedicated to introducing men to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, helping them to grow as Christians". Promise Keepers is a non-profit organization, not affiliated with any Christian church or denomination that champions opposite-sex marriage and marital fidelity. Their most widely publicized events tend to be mass rallies held at football stadiums and similar venues. They also sell a variety of promotional products to "help men keep their promises," including clothing, books, and music. Bruce Wilkinson developed the widely used video curriculum, Personal Holiness in Times of Temptation, as a part of "The Biblical Manhood" series for Promise Keepers.
The core beliefs of the Promise Keepers, outlined in the Seven Promises, consist of the following:
Keepers may refer to:
Wolf Language: The keeper is a master of the Shape-shifting wolf. They serve to protect the pack and sacred sites of antro lupus tyan sacra. The wolves have also been wary of "searchers"
"How Great Is Our God" is a song written by Chris Tomlin, Jesse Reeves and Ed Cash. It was originally featured on Tomlin's album Arriving, that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. It is also featured live on Tomlin's Live from Austin Music Hall album. As of November 2014, it also is the fifth most popular worship song today, according to CCLI's top 25 worship songs chart. It also reached No. 1 on Christian Music Weekly's 20 the Countdown Magazine's Top 20 Worship Songs Chart. The song won "Song of the Year" and "Worship Song of the Year" at the 2006 GMA Dove Awards, and "Worship Song of the Year" again at the 2008 GMA Dove Awards.
In 2009, gospel/jazz keyboardist Ben Tankard, presented his instrumental rendition of the song from Tankard's No. 1 charting album, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.
At Passion 2012, Tomlin performed a new edition of this song called "How Great is Our God: World Edition". This new version included the original lyrics sung in several different languages: Hindi, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Zulu, Afrikaans and Mandarin. It is the first track of his Chris Tomlin: The Essential Collection album.
In monotheism and henotheism, God is conceived of as the Supreme Being and principal object of faith. The concept of God as described by theologians commonly includes the attributes of omniscience (infinite knowledge), omnipotence (unlimited power), omnipresence (present everywhere), omnibenevolence (perfect goodness), divine simplicity, and eternal and necessary existence.
God is also usually defined as a non-corporeal being without any human biological gender, but his role as a creator has caused some religions to give him the metaphorical name of "Father". Because God is concieved as not being a corporeal being, he cannot (some say should not) be portrayed in a literal visual image; some religious groups use a man to symbolize God because of his role as the "father" of the universe and his deed of creating man's mind in the image of his own.
In theism, God is the creator and sustainer of the universe, while in deism, God is the creator, but not the sustainer, of the universe. Monotheism is the belief in the existence of one God or in the oneness of God. In pantheism, God is the universe itself. In atheism, God does not exist, while God is deemed unknown or unknowable within the context of agnosticism. God has also been conceived as being incorporeal (immaterial), a personal being, the source of all moral obligation, and the "greatest conceivable existent". Many notable philosophers have developed arguments for and against the existence of God.
In its widest sense, the phrase union with Christ refers to the relationship between the believer and Jesus Christ. In this sense, John Murray says, union with Christ is "the central truth of the whole doctrine of salvation." The expression "in Christ" (en Christo, en kyrio, en Christo Iesou, en auto etc.) occurs 216 times in the Pauline letters and 26 times in the Johannine literature. Hence, according to Albert Schweitzer, "This 'being-in-Christ' is the prime enigma of the Pauline teaching: once grasped it gives the clue to the whole." Given the large number of occurrences and the wide range of contexts, the phrase embodies a breadth of meaning. (For example; Paul uses the phrase "en Christo" as a synonym for a Christian (Romans 16:7) and the phrase "en emoi" to describe the intimate identification of Christ with the believer (Galatians 2:20).)
According to the narrower sense of the phrase, used in Christian theology, union with Christ is a step in the ordo salutis ("order of salvation"), and the basis of the believer's justification. In this sense, union with Christ follows faith and precedes adoption (Galatians 3:26-27). Augustus Strong describes it in this way: "union with Christ logically precedes both regeneration and justification; and yet, chronologically, the moment of our union with Christ is also the moment when we are regenerated and justified."

This is part 1 of Promise Keepers 1997 Stand in the Gap conference
This is so powerful and moving. Joe White is a Christian speaker and dramatist who has performed many dramas at Promise Keepers conferences. His delivery is powerful and breathtaking, and the message comes across very clearly. He is a true man of God. This is a drama he did in Dallas in 2003, focusing on the crucifixion, and on the dichotomy between the two thieves on the crosses on either side of Jesus, how their hearts were so different. I had to break this into two parts, since it's longer than 10 minutes, YouTube's limit. If you ask me, this performance is far more outstanding than any performance I have ever seen that won an Academy Award. Be sure to watch Part 2. It contains the real message he is trying to convey.

Shelters full out on the streets tonight
Swollen shut black eyes burning bright
Folded arms hold everything she's ever owned
Folded arms holding every broken bone
Hard to stand on broken feet below the ground
The silent face that screams a shattered sound
More to the eye than another knotted fist
Slash the lips that were once longed to be kissed
Promise keepers nothing cheaper, yeah
Promise to keep her digging deeper
One strong smile reminds looks can deceive
If you're strong enough to bleed
You're strong enough to leave
Running away again down the same short hall
The face she used to have stares from these walls
Burn the rope while tying up loose ends
Introduced to the family secret again
First step out is up then you start to walk
Take first salt by grain then by block
Promise keepers nothing cheaper
Promise to keep her digging deeper
Promise keepers nothing cheaper
I promise to keep her digging deep
If you get the guts you gotta hold em tight
You've got wings spread them out, take flight
Hard to stand on broken feet below the ground
The silent face that screams a shattered sound
Promise keepers nothing cheaper
Promise to keep her digging deeper
Promise keepers nothing cheaper
