Chase Budinger just hasn't been the same since he exploded his knees. He used to be a high-flying rim destroyer with a confident jumpshot. Now, his jumper is borked because he can't get the lift he used to, and he can't dunk with nearly the same amount of fury because every time he tries to jump he thinks "what if this is the time when my knees decide not to take the abuse anymore."
I mean, I don't get why they don't allow NBA players to have cyborg knees. Not only would they never break, but they would give new life to players whose catastrophic knee explosions caused their careers to derail. People like Jabari Parker. Robot knees can be calibrated to provide the same amount of power that the fragile human knees used to give, so it's not like we'd have people dunking on twenty-foot rims or anything.
Actually, we would, because that would be sicker than a Black Plague victim.

Chase Budinger
Chase Andrew Budinger (born May 22, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Budinger was the 44th pick in 2009 NBA draft with the Detroit Pistons and was then dealt on draft night to the Houston Rockets.
High school career
Budinger was a standout basketball and volleyball player at La Costa Canyon High School; his teammates on the basketball team included future NFL quarterback Kevin O'Connell. He won the CIF San Diego Section in 2006.
Budinger was a McDonald's All-American and was the runner up in the 2006 McDonald's All-American Slam Dunk Contest.
Considered a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, Budinger was listed as the No. 2 small forward and the No. 4 player in the nation in 2006.
College career
Budinger chose to sign with Arizona, although he also received offers from many other schools, including USC and UCLA. He averaged 15.6 points in his freshman season, starting all 30 games for the Wildcats. At the conclusion of the season he announced that he planned to stay with Arizona for his sophomore season, despite speculation that he could be picked early in the NBA draft. However, he later announced that he would declare for the NBA Draft and not hire an agent. He was projected as a mid-first round draft pick by most NBA draft analysts. However, on the final day of the deadline for pulling out of the early entry list, Budinger opted not to remain in the draft and returned to school instead.

Chase Budinger was the runner-up in the slam dunk contest to Gerald Henderson. Budinger received perfect scores with the first two dunks to reach the three player final round. Chase Budinger vs Aubrey Coleman
It was a college basketball game between Houston and Arizona. Houston leading by a 12 points at the time when Houston Aubrey Coleman called for a charging foul on Chase Budinger. Clearly upset by the call and by the opposing player, Mr. Coleman stomped on Chase's face. Watching the clip over and over again, it makes you wonder how can he not seen Chase and "accidentally" step on it? I think Aubrey Coleman deserved more than an ejection...a year of suspension maybe? Oh and yes Arizona won the game in overtime, can you say Karma?

I made this highlight mix on my favorite player, Aaron Brooks, also called Aaron Jamal Brooks. Born in Seattle, Washington, Aaron Brooks attended Benjamin Franklin High School. After being a high profile recruit, Aaron Brooks went to the University of Oregon to play basketball for the Ducks. As a 4-year starter, Aaron Brooks won many awards such as Pac-10 All Freshman Team and many more. After having a successful college career, the Houston Rockets selected him as the 26th pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Before playing with the Rockets, however, Aaron Brooks played with their D-League Team, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. This starting Point Guard for the Houston Rockets just won the Most Improved Player Award in 2010. Although only six foot, Aaron Brooks has hops and can dunk. In fact, Aaron Brooks had a Dunk of the Night, which is included in this video. Aaron Brooks is an exceptional player that would be a great addition to any team as he brings skill and speed. He was even nicknamed "The Blur" in college, while playing for the Oregon Ducks.
