El Himno Estatal de la RSS de Estonia fue el himno nacional de Estonia durante su época como república socialista soviética integrante de la Unión Soviética.
La música fue compuesta por Gustav Ernesaks, y le letra del himno por Johannes Semper. Desde 1956 hasta 1991 se usó una versión modificada de la original del Himno de la RSS de Estonia, eliminándose la mención a Iósif Stalin.

The State Anthem of the Estonian SSR (Estonian: Eesti Nõukogude Sotsialistliku Vabariigi hümn) was the anthem of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic under the Soviet Union from 1945 to 1990.
During the decades of the Soviet occupation of Estonia, the official Estonian anthem was strictly forbidden. Throughout the years of prohibition, Lydia Koidula's poem, Mu isamaa on minu arm, with a melody by Gustav Ernesaks served as means of expressing national feelings, and was regarded as an unofficial anthem of Estonia. With the restoration of Estonian independence in 1991 however, the official national anthem from 1920 by Fredrik Pacius with lyrics by Johann Voldemar Jannsen has been restored.

The music of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic's anthem was composed by Gustav Ernesaks, and the lyrics were written by Johannes Semper. It and the Karelo-Finnish SSR anthem were the only ones not to mention the Russian people. On 21 July 1956, the third stanza of the lyrics was changed to remove mentions of Joseph Stalin. This is the version presented here.

Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic
The Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic (Estonian SSR or ESSR; Estonian: Eesti Nõukogude Sotsialistlik Vabariik ENSV; Russian: Эстонская Советская Социалистическая Республика ЭССР, Estonskaya Sovetskaya Sotsialisticheskaya Respublika ESSR) was a republic of the Soviet Union, administered by and a subordinate of the Government of the Soviet Union. The ESSR was initially established on the territory of the Republic of Estonia on July 21, 1940, following the invasion of Soviet troops on June 17, 1940, and the installation of a puppet government backed by the Soviet Union, which declared Estonia a Soviet state. The Estonian SSR was subsequently incorporated into the USSR on August 9, 1940. This territory was also occupied by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1944.
Most countriesdid not recognise the incorporation of Estonia de jure and only recognised its Soviet government de facto or not at all. A number of these countries continued to recognize Estonian diplomats and consuls who still functioned in the name of their former governments. This policy of non-recognition gave rise to the principle of legal continuity, which held that de jure, Estonia remained an independent state under illegal occupation throughout the period 1940–91.
