Overwatch origins and lore wise, Widowmaker is the most effective assassin of the rampant Terrorist organisation Talon, and an example of how far medical and neural conditioning techniques have come in the Overwatch scientific world - for good, or for ill! Currently being deployed around the world on a variety of Talon missions, Widow seems to once again be on a collision course to fight agents of Overwatch, the organisation she used to be linked to before a very tragic set of events changed her live, and that of those around her, forever.
How does Widowmaker feel about competition for being the greatest sniper in the world from Ana Amari? Who does she find an annoyance? What's her knowledge level about aimbots, and what famous French writer does she quote?
I discuss all these important (and silly) questions and more!

This week we discuss the state of Overwatch Gameplay, particularly at higher ranks/levels of play, but also in short the problem of unlimited pick in quick play. Balance in this game feels achievable at times, but with careful reasoning and time, a much more healthy game can come out of it. McCree is deemed "fixed' finally, sometimes it may take a few phases to get a hero into their Goldy-Locks zone, so we shouldn't be afraid to offer suggestions and allow them to try things in the PTR. Namely, the biggest characters that look to need changing are D. Va, Hanzo, Widowmaker; but we also discuss the "support problem" that no matter what, based on how Blizzard designs this game, it will be difficult for there not to be a support hero focus to the gameplay, as unlike MOBAs, supports actually have a lot of ability in Overwatch, whereas in MOBA games, their situation utility is often weight down heavily by lack of ability to fight whatsoever. This week we discuss the state of Overwatch Gameplay, particularly at higher ranks/levels of play, but also in short the problem of unlimited pick in quick play. Balance in this game feels achievable at times, but with careful reasoning and time, a much more healthy game can come out of it. McCree is deemed "fixed' finally, sometimes it may take a few phases to get a hero into their Goldy-Locks zone, so we shouldn't be afraid to offer suggestions and allow them to try things in the PTR. Namely, the biggest characters that look to need changing are D. Overwatch origins and lore wise, Widowmaker is the most effective assassin of the rampant Terrorist organisation Talon, and an example of how far medical and neural conditioning techniques have come in the Overwatch scientific world - for good, or for ill! Currently being deployed around the world on a variety of Talon missions, Widow seems to once again be on a collision course to fight agents of Overwatch, the organisation she used to be linked to before a very tragic set of events changed her live, and that of those around her, forever.

Overwatch origins and lore wise, Widowmaker is the most effective assassin of the rampant Terrorist organisation Talon, and an example of how far medical and neural conditioning techniques have come in the Overwatch scientific world - for good, or for ill! Currently being deployed around the world on a variety of Talon missions, Widow seems to once again be on a collision course to fight agents of Overwatch, the organisation she used to be linked to before a very tragic set of events changed her live, and that of those around her, forever.
How does Widowmaker feel about competition for being the greatest sniper in the world from Ana Amari? Who does she find an annoyance? What's her knowledge level about aimbots, and what famous French writer does she quote?
I discuss all these important (and silly) questions and more!

This week we discuss the state of Overwatch Gameplay, particularly at higher ranks/levels of play, but also in short the problem of unlimited pick in quick play. Balance in this game feels achievable at times, but with careful reasoning and time, a much more healthy game can come out of it. McCree is deemed "fixed' finally, sometimes it may take a few phases to get a hero into their Goldy-Locks zone, so we shouldn't be afraid to offer suggestions and allow them to try things in the PTR. Namely, the biggest characters that look to need changing are D. Va, Hanzo, Widowmaker; but we also discuss the "support problem" that no matter what, based on how Blizzard designs this game, it will be difficult for there not to be a support hero focus to the gameplay, as unlike MOBAs, supports actually have a lot of ability in Overwatch, whereas in MOBA games, their situation utility is often weight down heavily by lack of ability to fight whatsoever. A new update has gone live for the Public Test Realm version of Overwatch. Along with some balance changes that I'll get to below, it makes a hilarious change for people who use the expression "gg ez." ... His double jump doesn't reset when wall climbing; his dash doesn't bypass Junkrat's trap or do damage to it or Widowmaker's mine; Swift Strike doesn't interrupt quick melees; and his Ultimate now lasts six seconds rather than eight ... ....
