A video compilation of my Great Glen Way walk between Fort William and Inverness, Scotland from 2-6 June 2013
This was an adventure me and my dad set off to tackle the GGW last Spring. Little did we know, it was a very difficult walk. We aren't entirely sure how many kilometers we walked each day, but is was 57km in total. I just decided to dig out all the crappy footage and see what I could do with it (I was procrastinating from doing coursework). This was also my first attempt at filming a hike. The song that sounds exactly like Nujabes is a rip off/ tribute. The rest of the music and video is original. Filmed on a Nikon D5200, some of the audio was recorded on a Trust desktop mic. Edited in Premiere.
This beautiful journey through the Great Glen takes us from Loch Levin up to Fort William, through the Caledonian Canal and towards Fort Augustus. From there we travel along Loch Ness, stopping at Inverness before heading out to Culloden and the end of our journey at Fort George. Scotland the Land is a fascinating series bringing us stunning aerial views of some of Scotland's most famous rivers and the treasured landscapes they run through.

Great Glen Way 2015 - Day 1 of 3 - Mountain Bike
Two and a half days paddling up the Great Glen Canoe trail. Due to time constraints we cut out the portage / canal / portage / canal bits at the start and finish to leave 75 km of paddling. Very mixed bag of weather from heavy rain to strong sun, with a headwind common for the 3 days on the water. Great fun!

22-29.June.2016 walking the Great Glen Way, 117 km, from Inverness to Fort William, north-east to south-west, in Scotland. It took us a good 6 days to trek the GGW. On the 7th day, we also made a summit to Britain's highest peak, Ben Nevis (1345m) which looks over the beautiful town of Fort William, where the GGW begins/ends. Day 8, I was on my own in Glasgow spending some good 7hrs exploring the city, and dining a heavy meal at The Lauders, before catching the overnight bus back to London. An amazing adventure in the highlands of Caledonia. Thank you for watching. Music: The Echelon Effect - Branches And Constellations

Saturday 11th June 2016 Invermoriston to Inverness 31 miles with Ryan Mckenzie
This is our 2012 walk on the Great Glen Way. The first three days were quite easy, but it starts to climb on Day 4 and on the final day to Inverness there is quite a really big climb. Beware of the wild man of the woods! On the final day to Inverness you will pass through a forest where you will find lots of tempting signs to partake of various beverages in a woodland café. If you don't like paying £3 for a cup of tea then I would give it a miss! For the final three days of the walk you can leave your tent pitched at the Inverness campsite and bus out every day to the various parts of the walk. This would save you three days of carrying your heavy backpack and save you from having to pitch your tent every night. Another hint and wrinkle to save cooking time you can enjoy egg and chips at ...
