Dennis Lee Hopper (May 17, 1936 - May 29, 2010) was an American actor, filmmaker and artist. As a young man, Hopper became interested in acting and eventually became a student of the Actors' Studio. He made his first television appearance in 1954 and appeared in two films featuring James Dean, Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and Giant (1956). During the next 10 years, Hopper appeared frequently on television in guest roles, and by the end of the 1960s had played supporting roles in several films.
He directed and starred in Easy Rider (1969), winning an award at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay as co-writer. Journalist Ann Hornaday wrote: "With its portrait of counterculture heroes raising their middle fingers to the uptight middle-class hypocrisies, Easy Rider became the cinematic symbol of the 1960s, a celluloid anthem to freedom, macho bravado and anti-establishment rebellion." Film critic Matthew Hays notes that "no other persona better signifies the lost idealism of the 1960s than that of Dennis Hopper."

Plot: The 'Rapture', the end of the world, heaven, and Bono - this 20 minute mockumentary addresses each one of these topics, and more. We travel to the heart of Christian America, Colorado Springs, to capture the action on that fated day. Bono also came to Colorado on May 21st, 2011 - could there be a connection? We explore this burning question, as well. And if Jesus and Bono held an arm wrestling contest, who would win? Find out in 'Jesus vs. Bono', the greatest story never told.

Plot: Video installation piece which features a collaboration of many artists that is inspired by Nicholas Ray's classic Rebel Without A Cause. Korine whose work has often responded to street culture, violence, and subcultural transgression, directs two female gangs to fight with machetes in a Los Angeles parking lot. Franco commissions legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney to carve the late actor Brad Renfro's first name into his arm with a switchblade. Filmed in real time, imagery of the carving is juxtaposed with interviews with friends of Renfro, including actors Scott Haze and Jim Parrack. The installation features two never-made scenes from Ray's original draft of Rebel Without A Cause, one featuring a man on fire, and the second, a woman being whipped. The two performances are played side by side in one continuous 20-minute take and the overall effect is has been been described as "beautiful and harrowing."
