The security was very tight at this gig so I didn't bring my camcorder. I took just my little compact camera with me (those were allowed) and it was a wise decision because at one point during the gig the head of the security rushed to our sector, pulled one of the guys out and literally dragged him away - he probably had a camcorder. That scared me a bit! :-) So I was filming very discreetly, having the camera on my knee and covering it by my jacket. So the result is not perfect (mainly due to the short lens range) but I'm proud of the sound so overall it's a very enjoyable recording, I think :-) The five very short breaks during the video couldn't be avoided (battery changes etc.).

In the beginning of November 2015 an acception of amendment about busking in Prague will be considered. However, it is liquidating for many music performers. Many good spots are going to be forbidden, including a part of Náměstí republiky, Jungmannovo náměstí, Vodičkova street and the distance of 25 meters off all the forbidden places. Many musical instruments would be banned as well - drums, bagpipes, pipes. No amplifiers would be allowed either. Save busking in Prague, say NO to the amendment. http://www.vancesova.com Watch Czech National Theater, Národní Divadlo, inside. I came in early and for most of the video the theater is empty. It's not allowed to take videos during performance but I wanted to show what the theatre looks like inside. The theatre is not big, its audience capacity is about 1000 people, but it is very pretty and historically and culturally very significant for the Czech people. You may enjoy watching the paintings on the ceiling, the chandelier and the overall layout. Aside from the main floor area there are three levels of balconies, gallery 1 and gallery 2 above that.
Towards the end of the video you will see the theater practically full, as the video was taken during one of the intermissions but some people were in the theatre corridors and other places where people go during an intermission, out of the reach of the camera. The music you will hear is the musicians of the orchestra practicing before the performance. At first there are very few in the orchestra area and gradually the musicians fill the orchestra space.
The performance is in Italian or whatever language the opera is in if you come to the theater to see an opera as I did. There are subtitles at the top of the stage in Czech and in English.

The World’s Most Beautiful Library Is In Prague, Czech Republic
Prague's Klementinum library was opened in 1722 and has easily become one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. Aside from housing over 20,000 novels for your reading pleasure, this location showcases absolutely stunning Baroque architecture.
The ceiling frescoes were painted by Jan Hiebl. In 1781, director Karel Rafael Ungar established Biblioteca Nationalis, a collection of Czech language literature. Some of the rare historical books from this collection have been sent to Google for scanning and will eventually be available on Google Books.
Just as the library is a rare and little-known treasure, so is it associated with several little-known facts: the Klementinum used to be the third largest Jesuit college in the world; recording of local weather began there in 1775 and has continued ever since; it is featured in a novel by famous Spanish-language writer Jorge Luis Borges.
In 1777, Maria Theresa declared Klementinum to be a public and university library. This allowed the Prague community to witness this local treasure in person, to marvel at the globes that line the center of the library, and to study Jan Klein's intricate astronomical clocks.

Paul McCartney - 16.06.2016 Prague, Czech Republic [full recording]
The security was very tight at this gig so I didn't bring my camcorder. I took just my little compact camera with me (those were allowed) and it was a wise decision because at one point during the gig the head of the security rushed to our sector, pulled one of the guys out and literally dragged him away - he probably had a camcorder. That scared me a bit! :-) So I was filming very discreetly, having the camera on my knee and covering it by my jacket. So the result is not perfect (mainly due to the short lens range) but I'm proud of the sound so overall it's a very enjoyable recording, I think :-) The five very short breaks during the video couldn't be avoided (battery changes etc.). The former West German foreign minister who famously announced that East German refugees could travel to the West has returned to the Czech capita Prague to mark 25 years since that day. Czech Theater Inside-Národní Divadlo-National Theatre-Prague
http://www.vancesova.com Watch Czech National Theater, Národní Divadlo, inside. I came in early and for most of the video the theater is empty. It's not allowed to take videos during performance but I wanted to show what the theatre looks like inside. The theatre is not big, its audience capacity is about 1000 people, but it is very pretty and historically and culturally very significant for the Czech people. You may enjoy watching the paintings on the ceiling, the chandelier and the overall layout. Aside from the main floor area there are three levels of balconies, gallery 1 and gallery 2 above that. In the beginning of November 2015 an acception of amendment about busking in Prague will be considered. However, it is liquidating for many music performers. Many good spots are going to be forbidden, including a part of Náměstí republiky, Jungmannovo náměstí, Vodičkova street and the distance of 25 meters off all the forbidden places. Many musical instruments would be banned as well - drums, bagpipes, pipes. No amplifiers would be allowed either. Save busking in Prague, say NO to the amendment. In the beginning of November 2015 an acception of amendment about busking in Prague will be considered. However, it is liquidating for many music performers. Many good spots are going to be forbidden, including a part of Náměstí republiky, Jungmannovo náměstí, Vodičkova street and the distance of 25 meters off all the forbidden places. Many musical instruments would be banned as well - drums, bagpipes, pipes. No amplifiers would be allowed either. Save busking in Prague, say NO to the amendment. It's not allowed to take videos during performance but I wanted to show what the theatre looks like inside. The theatre is not big, its audience capacity is about 1000 people, but it is very pretty and historically and culturally very significant for the Czech people. You may enjoy watching the paintings on the ceiling, the chandelier and the overall layout. Aside from the main floor area there are three levels of balconies, gallery 1 and gallery 2 above that.
Towards the end of the video you will see the theater practically full, as the video was taken during one of the intermissions but some people were in the theatre corridors and other places where people go during an intermission, out of the reach of the camera. The music you will hear is the musicians of the orchestra practicing before the performance. At first there are very few in the orchestra area and gradually the musicians fill the orchestra space.
The performance is in Italian or whatever language the opera is in if you come to the theater to see an opera as I did. There are subtitles at the top of the stage in Czech and in English.

The World’s Most Beautiful Library Is In Prague, Czech Republic
Prague's Klementinum library was opened in 1722 and has easily become one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. Aside from housing over 20,000 novels for your reading pleasure, this location showcases absolutely stunning Baroque architecture.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world and it is home to several palaces, as well as a cathedral, a basilica, and gardens. We're here now in Novy Svet - a cool little neighborhood right behind the castle. Here we are at the Kafka Museum. This museum is dedicated to him and his work and you'll find some of his letters, diary entries and photographs inside. Stroll along the John Lennon Wall and you'll encounter portraits of Lennon and Yoko Ono. Have a look. Up next we have a big plate of Goulash. Saint Vitus is a Gothic cathedral located within the walls of Prague Castle. Inside you'll be able to admire beautiful stained glass windows designed in the art nouveau style. Inside the KGB Museum you'll find old propaganda as well as some unusual pieces like a copy of Lenin's death mask. The Golden Lane gets its name because legend has it that Emperor Rudolph was a fan of alchemy. Charles Bridge is one of the most popular landmarks in the city. When in Prague you can check out the Astronomical Clock. You can't come to Prague and not sample the street food. One particularly popular item is the Trdlenik. Petrin Tower stands 63 meters high on a hill overlooking Prague. It slightly resembles the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Vyšehrad is a historical fort located in the city of Prague. In my hand here I've got myself a Pilsner beer and this is like a Czech institution. The Jeleni Prikop Park located right behind Prague Castle is a great place for a picnic or a little nap on the grass. Even though the National Museum is currently closed you can still attend musical performances in the evening. Another cool thing you can do is visit the Miniature Museum where you can see microscopic art. The Mucha Museum pays homage to Alphonse Mucha, and it's a must visit if you enjoy art nouveau. Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world and it is home to several palaces, as well as a cathedral, a basilica, and gardens. We're here now in Novy Svet - a cool little neighborhood right behind the castle. Here we are at the Kafka Museum. This museum is dedicated to him and his work and you'll find some of his letters, diary entries and photographs inside. Stroll along the John Lennon Wall and you'll encounter portraits of Lennon and Yoko Ono. Have a look. Up next we have a big plate of Goulash. Saint Vitus is a Gothic cathedral located within the walls of Prague Castle. Inside you'll be able to admire beautiful stained glass windows designed in the art nouveau style. Inside the KGB Museum you'll find old propaganda as well as some unusual pieces like a copy of Lenin's death mask. The Golden Lane gets its name because legend has it that Emperor Rudolph was a fan of alchemy. Charles Bridge is one of the most popular landmarks in the city. When in Prague you can check out the Astronomical Clock. You can't come to Prague and not sample the street food. One particularly popular item is the Trdlenik. Petrin Tower stands 63 meters high on a hill overlooking Prague. It slightly resembles the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Vyšehrad is a historical fort located in the city of Prague. In my hand here I've got myself a Pilsner beer and this is like a Czech institution. The Jeleni Prikop Park located right behind Prague Castle is a great place for a picnic or a little nap on the grass. Even though the National Museum is currently closed you can still attend musical performances in the evening. Another cool thing you can do is visit the Miniature Museum where you can see microscopic art. The Mucha Museum pays homage to Alphonse Mucha, and it's a must visit if you enjoy art nouveau. And that sums up our visit to Prague!

Prague tourism usually involves the Royal Route, a historic coronation path that will take you through Old Town. Walk a few blocks to Old Town Square and sample local street fare in the shadow of old castles and palaces. Old Town itself is full of cafes, restaurants, and galleries, and will provide days of exploration for intrepid visitors.
Cross over the Charles Bridge and climb up to Prague Castle, a network of palaces, churches, and numerous museums. Be careful, as folks were a lot shorter back then – you may have to duck your head as you walk through the low-ceilinged, artifact-filled halls.
Your Prague sightseeing must pause at St. Vitus Cathedral, a massive gothic structure dating back 600 years. You’ll have to arch your back to see over 300 feet to the ceilings, which seem to vanish into the heavens. By the time you’re back outside, it will likely be twilight. You’ll see pigs roasting on spits and people gathered under the statue of St. Wenceslas to share their daily adventures. The people here are friendly, so why not join them and chime in with your own stories?

The capital of the Czech Republic is also called ‘the golden city’, the ‘mother of cities’, but its most fitting name is the ‘city of 100 spires’. In the old town there are the towers of the City Hall, the Tyn temple and the Magazine. The puppet play of its famous Astronomical clock is marvelled at by thousands every hour. The Jewish district is famous of its old cemetery and the Synagogue. The Charles Bridge with its 30 statues lead to the other side of the Vltava. The other part has plenty of very good restaurants. The green dome of the Saint Nicholas Church can be seen above the citizens houses. The Prague Castle is one of Europe’s most beautiful castle districts with gothic, renessaince and baroque palaces, with a royal palace, parks, temples. Whoever visits Prague, won’t forget the Wenceslas Square and the famous pubs the ‘U Kalycha’ and the ‘U Fleku’. While wandering on the medieval streets we understand why this place became the setting for the legends of Dalibor, Faust, Rabbi Löw and the Golem.

Crimes Against Germans When WW2 Ended
The merciless revenge perpetrated on the entire German civilian population of Eastern Europe during the closing stages of the war, and for many months after, took the lives of over 2,100,000 ethnic German men, women and children. For generations these Germans had lived and toiled in areas that today are part of central and Eastern Europe. Around fifteen million of these Volksdeutsche were driven from their homes and ancestral lands in Poland, East Prussia, Silesia, Ukraine, Belarus and Serbia and forced back into the Allied occupied zones of Germany. This was the greatest forcible evacuation of people in European history. It is estimated that of the eight million Germans expelled from Poland around 1,600,000 died in the process. Czech Theater Inside-Národní Divadlo-National Theatre-Prague
http://www.vancesova.com Watch Czech National Theater, Národní Divadlo, inside. I came in early and for most of the video the theater is empty. It's not allowed to take videos during performance but I wanted to show what the theatre looks like inside. The theatre is not big, its audience capacity is about 1000 people, but it is very pretty and historically and culturally very significant for the Czech people. You may enjoy watching the paintings on the ceiling, the chandelier and the overall layout. Aside from the main floor area there are three levels of balconies, gallery 1 and gallery 2 above that. Federal Signal MS3000 siren demo - Czech railway fire dept. Jeep Cherokee [CZ | 8.2016]
Short Federal Signal MS 3000 siren demo. At first I tried the manual and horn, then wail and yelp. Forgot to try what happens when using yelp and pushing the manual button, damned.. I attached 4 pictures to the video, one is in front of it, 3 at the end. The siren is coming from the Federal Signal JetSonic lightbar of this beautiful Jeep Cherokee (with a lovely V8 engine) :) Anyways nice older siren. As you can see the siren box is simple and pretty easy to reach. The right switches are for the constant wail and yelp tones while the left switches are for the horn and manual. Not sure if that unit is housed in Prague or Liberec. The license plate says Prague (2nd letter is an A for Prague) but the advertisement below the license plate says Liberec. Halloween Nerf War
The name of this puppet (marionette) is Taliesin the Wizard and i bought it from Prague at geppettosworkshop. This large daunting looking wizard marionette stands over 2 feet tall (about 28 inches). His professional puppet control apparatus allows for a full range of movement, including moving eyes and mouth. Notice the attention to detail, as all clothing is hand-sewn. The marionette is made in the classic style having a skeleton carved from wood. Notice his shoes are also carved from wood. His hands and face are cast from a unique plaster-like compound then hand-painted. Please note that each large wizard puppet varies in cloths and painting from order to order. In this episode of My Beer Story I home brew a 10 gal. batch of a wheat beer. After fermentation I rack the beer into 2 different 5 gal. ball-lock kegs. Great polish film maker David Kaszlikowski sent me this unique footage of David Lama and Corey Rich: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qchy7BVid9Q. It made a bit sad, as I was going to delete my record from the title. BUT! When checking flying log I found, that my take-off altitude was 3664 m a.s.l., what I can confirm when checking the satellite image. So, I am still not aware of any other higher flight of another commercial and civil drone :-) However, there are more higher flight with custom build drones, i.e., by awesome John Griffith who flew at 6500 this spring.

The merciless revenge perpetrated on the entire German civilian population of Eastern Europe during the closing stages of the war, and for many months after, took the lives of over 2,100,000 ethnic German men, women and children. For generations these Germans had lived and toiled in areas that today are part of central and Eastern Europe. Around fifteen million of these Volksdeutsche were driven from their homes and ancestral lands in Poland, East Prussia, Silesia, Ukraine, Belarus and Serbia and forced back into the Allied occupied zones of Germany. This was the greatest forcible evacuation of people in European history. It is estimated that of the eight million Germans expelled from Poland around 1,600,000 died in the process. In Czechoslovakia, memories of the Lidice massacre inspired acts of revenge against German soldiers and civilians. Soldiers were disarmed, tied to stakes, doused with petrol and set alight. Wounded German soldiers in hospital were shot in their beds, others were hung up on lamposts in Wenzell Square and fires were lit beneath them so that they died the gruesome death of being roasted alive. These ethnic Germans lived in fear of the Russians but no one thought that the dreadful fate which awaited them would not even emanate from the Soviets at all but from their own neighbours, the Czechs!
Thousands of innocent German residents were murdered in their homes by the Czechs, others were forced into interment camps where they were beaten and maltreated before being expelled. Bishop Beranek of Prague declared: 'If a Czech comes to me and confesses to having killed a German, I absolve him immediately'. The Americans, utterly blind to the political consequences of allowing the Soviets to liberate Czechoslovakia, halted at the Karlsbad-Pilsen-Budweis line. The Sudeten Germans now had no protection from the torrent of bestiality vented on them by the Czechs. In Brno, 25,000 German civilians were forced marched at gun-point to the Austrian border. There, the Austrian guards refused them entry, the Czech guards refused to re-admit them. Herded into an open field they died by the hundreds from hunger and cold before being rescued by the US 16th Tank Division on May 8th 1945. In the Russian occupied zones of Eastern Europe and in Germany, hundreds of thousands of civilian men and women, Poles, Czechs, Romanians and Germans, were transported to the Urals in the Soviet Union and used as slave labourers until released in the late 40s. Mostly ignored by the world's press, the unimaginable suffering experienced by the expellees is largely unknown outside Germany, yet it was systematically carried out in a brutal fashion as official Allied policy in accordance with the decisions formulated at Yalta and Potsdam.
Around the small Bavarian village of Postberg (Postoloprty) in the province of Saazerland on the Bavarian-Czech border, hundreds of German men, women and children were shot to death during the Czech 'ethnic cleansing'. All German civilian residents in the province were rounded up by Czech soldiers and communist partisans and marched to a collection point in Postberg. There they were interned and beaten, many were executed. On September 17, 1947, a number of mass graves were discovered in and around Postberg. Thirty-four bodies were found in the village itself, another four nearby at Weinberg and twenty-six in an old sandpit at Schuladen. At Lewanitzer, 349 corpses were unearthed and another 103 bodies were exhumed from another mass grave. Ten corpses were found in a sand pit at Kreuz along with another 225 bodies in a mass grave at the local school.
At the military barracks five bodies were found and seven were buried under house No. 74. During investigations only one Czech, Vojtech Cerny, admitted to participating in the shooting and killing of four Germans. In all, a total of 763 Germans were murdered. A law, passed by the Czech authorities (The Benesch law: No115/1946) stated that all Czech crimes against Germans were not legible to penalty.

http://www.vancesova.com Watch Czech National Theater, Národní Divadlo, inside. I came in early and for most of the video the theater is empty. It's not allowed to take videos during performance but I wanted to show what the theatre looks like inside. The theatre is not big, its audience capacity is about 1000 people, but it is very pretty and historically and culturally very significant for the Czech people. You may enjoy watching the paintings on the ceiling, the chandelier and the overall layout. Aside from the main floor area there are three levels of balconies, gallery 1 and gallery 2 above that.
Towards the end of the video you will see the theater practically full, as the video was taken during one of the intermissions but some people were in the theatre corridors and other places where people go during an intermission, out of the reach of the camera. The music you will hear is the musicians of the orchestra practicing before the performance. At first there are very few in the orchestra area and gradually the musicians fill the orchestra space.
The performance is in Italian or whatever language the opera is in if you come to the theater to see an opera as I did. There are subtitles at the top of the stage in Czech and in English.

I attached 4 pictures to the video, one is in front of it, 3 at the end. The siren is coming from the Federal Signal JetSonic lightbar of this beautiful Jeep Cherokee (with a lovely V8 engine) :)
Anyways nice older siren. As you can see the siren box is simple and pretty easy to reach. The right switches are for the constant wail and yelp tones while the left switches are for the horn and manual.
Not sure if that unit is housed in Prague or Liberec. The license plate says Prague (2nd letter is an A for Prague) but the advertisement below the license plate says Liberec. I would believe it's housed in Liberec, all the other trucks there have Prague license plates as well.
Special thanks to the guys for allowing me to take the quick siren demo :)

The name of this puppet (marionette) is Taliesin the Wizard and i bought it from Prague at geppettosworkshop. This large daunting looking wizard marionette stands over 2 feet tall (about 28 inches). His professional puppet control apparatus allows for a full range of movement, including moving eyes and mouth. Notice the attention to detail, as all clothing is hand-sewn. The marionette is made in the classic style having a skeleton carved from wood. Notice his shoes are also carved from wood. His hands and face are cast from a unique plaster-like compound then hand-painted. Please note that each large wizard puppet varies in cloths and painting from order to order. In this episode of My Beer Story I home brew a 10 gal. batch of a wheat beer. After fermentation I rack the beer into 2 different 5 gal. ball-lock kegs. In one keg I add fresh cut lemongrass and in the other fresh lemon peel zest.
After a few weeks of allowing the home brew to condition I give them each a taste! Very happy with the subtle citrus taste.
