Synopsis :
Three unlikely friends meet at a train station. Each of them are unemployed and homeless. They end up in the railway station where they live and beg, borrow, steal to survive. They meet all sorts of people at the station which includes a prostitute who has to feed her son, a fruit vending girl and a thief whom they befriend. A corrupt cop knows of the three homeless guys and their thief friend and so plans to take advantage of them. Watch the full movie to find out what happens next.

I have visited the New Delhi Train Station on several occasions, and have always been amazed at just how chaotic it is, but yet still manages to function.

The New Delhi Railway Station (Hindi: नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन) (station code NDLS), situated between Ajmeri Gate and Paharganj is the main railway station in Delhi. New Delhi railway station is the third busiest and one of the largest in India. It handles over 300 trains and 500,000 passengers daily with 16 platforms.
The New Delhi railway station holds the record for the largest route interlocking system in the world similar to the Kanpur Central Railway Station i.e. 48. The station is about two kilometres north of Connaught Place, in central Delhi.
Most eastbound and southbound trains originate at New Delhi Railway Station. However, some important trains to other parts of the country also touch/originate at this station.

Dadar railway station comes under Central Railway and Western Railway too. In peak hours, walking on foot overbridges and boarding trains is nightmare since lots of commuters travel on both Dadar, Central as well as Western Railway.
This video is taken on Sunday when there is less crowd otherwise in peak hours, it is next to impossible standing on FOB & taking pics/videos. More than 1 million people use this station daily.

I think that I saw everything that is possible to see, at the Old Delhi Railway Station.
There was rats on the tracks. I even saw one rat have a tug-of-war with a pigeon over a stale japati... the rat won!
Health and safety would have a field day back in London, with passengers skipping over the rails, and the rail-workers sitting by a fire, while a train whistles on by.
At least most of the workers had put on their orange jackets, so I guess that's one thing.
Delhi railway station is the oldest railway station of Delhi city and a Junction station. It was established near Chandni Chowk in 1864 when trains from Howrah, Calcutta started operating up to Delhi.
Its present building was constructed by the British Indian government in the style of nearby red-coloured fort and opened in 1903. It has been an important railway station of the country, and preceded the New Delhi Railway Station by about 60 years. Chandni Chowk underground station of the Delhi Metro is near it.
The station started with a broad gauge train from Calcutta in 1864. Metre gauge track from Delhi to Rewari and further to Ajmer was laid in 1873 by Rajputana Railways and metre gauge trains from this station started in 1876.
The present building of the station was built in 1900 and opened for public in 1903. Started with just 2 platforms and 1000 passengers, Delhi Railway Station now handles more than 180,000 passengers and 200 trains daily.
In 1904 the Agra-Delhi line was opened. Delhi then was a part of six railway systems. East Indian Railway, North-Western Railway, and Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway entered from Ghaziabad crossing the Yamuna river. Delhi - Ambala Cantonment - Kalka Railway ran northwards from Delhi, and the Rajputana-Malwa Railway traversed the Delhi district for a short distance in the direction of Gurgaon and Rewari Junction.
Delhi Railway Station was built in red stone to give the effect of nearby historic Red Fort. The station building had six clock towers and tower 4 is still in use as a water tank.
This station served as the main station of Delhi, hosting junction of four railways until the opening of New Delhi Railway Station in 1926 ahead of the inauguration of the New Delhi city in 1931. Agra-Delhi railway track cut through the site earmarked for the hexagonal War Memorial (now called India Gate) and Kingsway (now called Rajpath). East Indian Railway Company shifted the line along the Yamuna river and opened the new track in 1924.
The station was remodelled in 1934–35, when its platforms were extended and power signals were introduced. A new entrance from Kashmere Gate side was created in 1990s and new platforms were added. The platforms were renumbered in September 2011. The numbers that started from Kashmere Gate entrance as 1A and ended at 18 near the main entrance were renumbred starting as 1 from the main entrance and ending at 16 at Kashmere Gate entrance and some platforms were merged to form long platforms to accommodate trains of 24 coaches.
The station building was renovated in 2012-13.

This video is the first of a series re-creating the role of the Station Pilot. The Station Pilot could be seen at most large stations and whose role was to move stock around within the station limits. Duties included the dismantling and forming of trains at the beginning or end of their journeys.

A train station, also called a railroad station (mainly in the United States) or railway station (mainly in the British Commonwealth) and often shortened to just station, is a railway facility where trains regularly stop to load or unload passengers or freight. The world's oldest railway station built for steam locomotives still in use is Broad Green railway station in Liverpool, England, which was built in 1830 and is on the Liverpool to Manchester Line. The world's oldest terminal station was Crown Street railway station in Liverpool, built in 1830, also on the Liverpool to Manchester line. The station was the first to incorporate a Train shed. The station was demolished in 1836 as the Liverpool terminal station moved to Lime Street railway station. The station was converted to a Goods station terminal.

I have visited the New Delhi Train Station on several occasions, and have always been amazed at just how chaotic it is, but yet still manages to function. Dadar railway station comes under Central Railway and Western Railway too. In peak hours, walking on foot overbridges and boarding trains is nightmare since lots of commuters travel on both Dadar, Central as well as Western Railway. Delhi Junction(Hindi: पुरानी दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन), also known as Old Delhi Railway Station (station code DLI), I think that I saw everything that is possible to see, at the Old Delhi Railway Station. There was rats on the tracks. I even saw one rat have a tug-of-war with a pigeon over a stale japati... the rat won! Health and safety would have a field day back in London, with passengers skipping over the rails, and the rail-workers sitting by a fire, while a train whistles on by. At least most of the workers had put on their orange jackets, so I guess that's one thing. Delhi railway station is the oldest railway station of Delhi city and a Junction station. Delhi railway station is the oldest railway station of Delhi city and a Junction station. It was established near Chandni Chowk in 1864 when trains from Howrah, Calcutta started operating up to Delhi.
Its present building was constructed by the British Indian government in the style of nearby red-coloured fort and opened in 1903. It has been an important railway station of the country, and preceded the New Delhi Railway Station by about 60 years. Chandni Chowk underground station of the Delhi Metro is near it.
The station started with a broad gauge train from Calcutta in 1864. Metre gauge track from Delhi to Rewari and further to Ajmer was laid in 1873 by Rajputana Railways and metre gauge trains from this station started in 1876.
The present building of the station was built in 1900 and opened for public in 1903. Started with just 2 platforms and 1000 passengers, Delhi Railway Station now handles more than 180,000 passengers and 200 trains daily.
In 1904 the Agra-Delhi line was opened. Delhi then was a part of six railway systems. East Indian Railway, North-Western Railway, and Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway entered from Ghaziabad crossing the Yamuna river. Delhi - Ambala Cantonment - Kalka Railway ran northwards from Delhi, and the Rajputana-Malwa Railway traversed the Delhi district for a short distance in the direction of Gurgaon and Rewari Junction.
Delhi Railway Station was built in red stone to give the effect of nearby historic Red Fort. The station building had six clock towers and tower 4 is still in use as a water tank.
This station served as the main station of Delhi, hosting junction of four railways until the opening of New Delhi Railway Station in 1926 ahead of the inauguration of the New Delhi city in 1931. Agra-Delhi railway track cut through the site earmarked for the hexagonal War Memorial (now called India Gate) and Kingsway (now called Rajpath). East Indian Railway Company shifted the line along the Yamuna river and opened the new track in 1924.
The station was remodelled in 1934–35, when its platforms were extended and power signals were introduced. A new entrance from Kashmere Gate side was created in 1990s and new platforms were added. The platforms were renumbered in September 2011. The numbers that started from Kashmere Gate entrance as 1A and ended at 18 near the main entrance were renumbred starting as 1 from the main entrance and ending at 16 at Kashmere Gate entrance and some platforms were merged to form long platforms to accommodate trains of 24 coaches.
The station building was renovated in 2012-13.

The numbers that started from Kashmere Gate entrance as 1A and ended at 18 near the main entrance were renumbred starting as 1 from the main entrance and ending at 16 at Kashmere Gate entrance and some platforms were merged to form long platforms to accommodate trains of 24 coaches.
The station building was renovated in 2012-13.

The police say Swathi had been stalked for months by a man near her workplace, 60 km from Chennai.
At around 6.45 am, witnesses saw a young man approaching her while she was waiting for her train. The two were seen having a heated argument and then the man suddenly pulled out a sickle from his bag and lunged at her. Struck in her neck and face, Swathi collapsed.
There are no CCTV cameras at the station - one of the busiest in Chennai - which makes it tougher for the police to find the attacker.
Infosys said in a statement: "We are saddened by the unfortunate incident that has led to the demise of our employee in Chennai. We are working with the local authorities as they investigate the matter and will continue to provide our co-operation and support."

The New Indian Express, reported that the eye witnesses said that she was waiting at platform number 2 when a young man came near hear. The duo had a heated argument after which the man attacked her with a sickle which he was carrying in his bag. Although Swathi tried to escape, she lost balance and fell on the platform. Shopkeepers and other passengers who were shocked at the sight did not get enough time to intervene. The culprit fled the scene immediately.
Sawathi daily takes the suburban train to reach her work at Mahindra Tech park near Maraimalai Nagar. As a routine, her father Santhana Gopalakrishnan, an retired Central govt employee, drops her at the station.

The duo had a heated argument after which the man attacked her with a sickle which he was carrying in his bag. Although Swathi tried to escape, she lost balance and fell on the platform. Shopkeepers and other passengers who were shocked at the sight did not get enough time to intervene. The culprit fled the scene immediately.
Sawathi daily takes the suburban train to reach her work at Mahindra Tech park near Maraimalai Nagar. As a routine, her father Santhana Gopalakrishnan, an retired Central govt employee, drops her at the station.
