By 2000, Matteson was home to Lincoln Mall (opened 1973) and annexed 195 acres of land for the village.

Chuck E. Cheese's (formerly Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre and Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza) is a chain of American family entertainment centers and restaurants. The chain is the primary brand of CEC Entertainment, Inc. and is headquartered in Irving, Texas. The establishment serves pizza and other menu items, complemented by arcade games, amusement rides, and animatronic displays as a focus of entertainment for the entire family. The brand derives its name from its main animatronic character Chuck E. Cheese, a comedic mouse who sings and interacts with guests.
Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre in San Jose, California, was the first location to open in 1977. The concept was authored by Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell, credited with bringing video games such as Pong to the mainstream. The Pizza Time Theatre was the first family restaurant to integrate food, animated entertainment, and an indoor arcade. The chain merged with competitor Showbiz Pizza Place in 1984, forming Showbiz Pizza Time, Inc. In the early 1990s, the company unified the two brands renaming every location to Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza. They redesigned the logo in 1994, dropping Pizza from each store's name. In 1998, Showbiz Pizza Time, Inc. became CEC Entertainment, Inc., and the company operates 577 locations as of March 2014.
No Other is the fourth solo studio album by Gene Clark. On release in late 1974 it was a critical and commercial failure; the studio time and cost were seen as excessive and indulgent. The record label, Asylum Records, did not promote the album, and by 1976 had deleted it from their catalog. Clark never recovered from the failure of the album. Just after Clark's death in 1991, "No Other" was reissued in its entirety on CD. In 1998, a double disc compilation, Flying High, was released with three songs from No Other. Then in the early 2000s, No Other was reissued a second time in its entirety to positive critical reappraisal.
In late 1972, Clark was invited to join a reunion of the original Byrds line-up on Asylum Records. The resulting album was a showcase for Clark, who sang on two Neil Young covers and two original songs. By the strength of his contributions to the album, Clark was signed to Asylum as a solo artist by David Geffen.
While preparing to record, Clark briefly joined the backing group of former Byrds colleague Roger McGuinn; the two even shared a home together during the period in the Hollywood Hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. During an engagement at The Troubadour in Los Angeles with McGuinn, he introduced a song that would remain in his repertoire for the rest of his career, "Silver Raven"; it would be recorded in an arrangement featuring Jesse Ed Davis and L.A. session player Danny Kortchmar on No Other. Of the song's composition, Clark said in a 1976 interview:
Swan Songs is the debut album by Hollywood Undead, released through Octone Records and Polydor Records. The album was released on September 2, 2008. "Everywhere I Go" was the first single to be released, it was a web single and was available for download only on iTunes. The band released four music videos for four songs on the album, "No.5", "Undead", "Young", and "Everywhere I Go" When purchased through Amazon.com and at some other retailers, the album includes a bonus track and an option to unlock music videos.Swan Songs is the only studio album to feature vocalist Deuce, excluding the half-studio album Desperate Measures.
Swan Songs was supposed to be released on the band's original label, MySpace Records in 2007, however it was postponed by the record label when they requested to have some of the songs removed and others censored. The band declined and switched labels to Octone which wouldn't require them to censor their songs. The album peaked at #22 on the Billboard 200 and sold 21,000 copies on its debut week.Swan Songs was released by Polydor Records on May 18, 2009 in the United Kingdom with two bonus tracks. After 64 weeks, the album fell off of the Billboard Top 200, but returned four weeks later at #154. Swan Songs ended up spending 82 weeks in total on the Billboard 200. In 2009, it was certified gold by the RIAA. On January 18, 2013, it reached the Platinum sales mark.

Hello everyone! This is a compilation of action from Matteson, Illinois, of Canadian National and Metra trains, as well as the afternoon Amtrak Illini service. This was also my first ever visit to Matteson, and I have to say it's a pretty good hotspot to watch trains in Greater Chicago and Greater Chicagoland. Historically, Matteson is the junction of the former Illinois Central and Elgin, Joliet, and Eastern Mainlines. Both railroads are now owned and operated by Canadian National. Matteson is also part of the former Illinois Central Electric District, which is now operated by Metra. Today, Matteson is most known for being the location of the Canadian National cloverleaf, connecting the EJ&E; and IC mainlines and allowing traffic to easily transfer from any direction in the Chicago area. ...
Paul Matteson's Modern V technique class is an investigation of off-balanced yet precise multi-focused movement. Classes begin by grounding and strengthening the core of the body while encouraging in each dancer an alert presence. From there, dancers progress through a series of buoyant and spiraling sequences that harness forces of momentum and demand intricate expressions of the limbs. These sequences eventually combine into a dynamic performance phrase. Interplay with live music offers a rich exchange of texture, rhythm, and nuance.
Hey guys, here's my brother Austin and I (Aronzo) performing the live show Chuck E. March 2001! I played Chuck E for this because it just so happens to be one of my favorites Live Shows at CEC. We did two different performances of this show and put them together into one. The first was from my iphone 4 (as you can tell from the clear image) and the other from my Samsung Digital Camera. Sadly, the pixels from the Samsung camera isn't that great from faraway. Hope you all don't mind. This video is dedicated to Matt the Franchize who inspired me to be the best Walk around Chuck E I can be through his everlasting dedication and energy to CEC. Thank you Matt for allowing me to pass this same amount of energy along to my brother! :) Also we are definitely going to live up to our name as "CEC B...
