Todd and Bruce, two struggling writers, get one last shot at success thanks to Todd’s wealthy uncle, Sarge, who gives them two weeks to impress him. With the deadline looming and no fresh ideas, the pair head to Shangri-La, a serene artist’s retreat, with the hope that the peace and company of fellow artists will inspire greatness… or, failing greatness, at least a fling with a leggy French sculptor. Writer/director Steve Kopera, along with his actor/producer brother Mike Kopera, are set to released their first collaborative feature film, "The Cabining."
"The Cabining" finished an impressive film festival run, winning awards at the Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival, the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival, and the Indie Gathering. Following a full-capacity screening at LA's Chinese Theater in June, Indican Pictures acquired "The Cabining" for national distribution. In October 2014, horror fansite DreadCentral.com tapped "The Cabining" as one of their 10 Amazing Indie Horror Films You May Have Missed.
The story follows Todd and Bruce, a pair of wannabe-horror screenwriters, who travel to a remote artists' retreat. They find beautiful scenery, even more beautiful women, a Shakespeare-quoting proprietor, and a mysterious found-art recluse. Yet, instead of inspiration, Todd and Bruce find death and deception. One by one, the other artists die, each in a more gruesome way than the last. The morbid atmosphere proves perfect for Todd's writing, but will he live to finish the script?
“As maliciously entertaining as it is very, very funny,” according to Mark Bullock of HackedintheHead.com, Steve Kopera's film "does for murder-mystery what Shaun of the Dead did for zombie films" (B-Movie Avenger).
"The Cabining" is currently airing on Encore Suspense throughout December 2015. It is also available for digital download on iTunes and Amazon Prime.

But there is one condition - the script must be complete in two weeks. Shangri-La proves to be anything but serene, as the artists die off one by one, seemingly by accident. Bo is the lead host, and co-producer, of the rapidly growing horror-comedy series, "Hillbilly Horror Show". His other acting credits include several TV and web series shows, as well as numerous commercials for companies like Office Depot®, Coke®, NASCAR® and US Cellular®.
He was born and raised in the small town of Dublin, Virginia. His father, Benny, was the Delegate for the 6th District to the Virginia General Assembly and former mayor of the town. Bo's mother, Harriet, is a retired high school teacher of 36 years.
After attending East Tennessee State, he moved to Wilmington, NC to begin his acting career. There he landed his first two speaking roles in "Remember The Titans" and "Vampire's Anonymous". Afterward he spent 7 years in Los Angeles, before returning to Virginia, where he lives with his two sons, Hayden and Seth.
Today, Bo is a full-time actor/producer splitting time between Los Angeles and Virginia.

Melissa Mars
Melissa Mars (born 3 September 1979) is a French singer and actress.
Biography
Born in Marseilles, France, Melissa Mars began acting at the age of thirteen, at the Chocolat theater. Two years later, she began taking singing lessons.
At age of sixteen, she moved to Paris, and earned a baccalauréat in sciences at the Louis-Le-Grand high school twelve months later. Despite this accomplishment, she ended her studies, but continued to study Spanish, English, piano, and harmonica. She wrote short scripts and read modern theatrical works (Anouilh, Obaldia, Sartre, Cocteau, Miller, and others).
In 1998, her agent arranged for her to dine with André Téchiné and François Bernheim. However, the dinner didn't work out as planned: According to Mars, "the meal progressed, but the interaction did not." François Bernheim asked to hear her sing. With her mother's help, she wrote her first song, "Papa m'aime pas." Five others followed. Having performed under the stage names Melissa Sefrani and Melissa Maylee, she ultimately adopted the last name Mars, a reference to the planet Mars and her penchant for dreams.

Todd and Bruce, two struggling writers, get one last shot at success thanks to Todd’s wealthy uncle, Sarge, who gives them two weeks to impress him. With the deadline looming and no fresh ideas, the pair head to Shangri-La, a serene artist’s retreat, with the hope that the peace and company of fellow artists will inspire greatness… or, failing greatness, at least a fling with a leggy French sculptor. The retreat proves to be anything but serene, however, as the artists start dying off one by one, and soon these two are fighting for their very own lives!

Writer/director Steve Kopera, along with his actor/producer brother Mike Kopera, are set to released their first collaborative feature film, "The Cabining."
"The Cabining" finished an impressive film festival run, winning awards at the Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival, the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival, and the Indie Gathering. Following a full-capacity screening at LA's Chinese Theater in June, Indican Pictures acquired "The Cabining" for national distribution. In October 2014, horror fansite DreadCentral.com tapped "The Cabining" as one of their 10 Amazing Indie Horror Films You May Have Missed.
The story follows Todd and Bruce, a pair of wannabe-horror screenwriters, who travel to a remote artists' retreat. They find beautiful scenery, even more beautiful women, a Shakespeare-quoting proprietor, and a mysterious found-art recluse. Yet, instead of inspiration, Todd and Bruce find death and deception. One by one, the other artists die, each in a more gruesome way than the last. The morbid atmosphere proves perfect for Todd's writing, but will he live to finish the script?
“As maliciously entertaining as it is very, very funny,” according to Mark Bullock of HackedintheHead.com, Steve Kopera's film "does for murder-mystery what Shaun of the Dead did for zombie films" (B-Movie Avenger).
"The Cabining" is currently airing on Encore Suspense throughout December 2015. It is also available for digital download on iTunes and Amazon Prime.

Bo Keister is a veteran actor and producer, appearing in numerous feature films, such as "Remember the Titans", "Killing Kennedy", and the multiple award-winning indie features, "The Cabining" & "House of Good and Evil", to name a few. Bo is the lead host, and co-producer, of the rapidly growing horror-comedy series, "Hillbilly Horror Show". His other acting credits include several TV and web series shows, as well as numerous commercials for companies like Office Depot®, Coke®, NASCAR® and US Cellular®.
He was born and raised in the small town of Dublin, Virginia. His father, Benny, was the Delegate for the 6th District to the Virginia General Assembly and former mayor of the town. Bo's mother, Harriet, is a retired high school teacher of 36 years.
After attending East Tennessee State, he moved to Wilmington, NC to begin his acting career. There he landed his first two speaking roles in "Remember The Titans" and "Vampire's Anonymous". Afterward he spent 7 years in Los Angeles, before returning to Virginia, where he lives with his two sons, Hayden and Seth.
Today, Bo is a full-time actor/producer splitting time between Los Angeles and Virginia.

Following a full-capacity screening at LA's Chinese Theater in June, Indican Pictures acquired "The Cabining" for national distribution. In October 2014, horror fansite DreadCentral.com tapped "The Cabining" as one of their 10 Amazing Indie Horror Films You May Have Missed.
The story follows Todd and Bruce, a pair of wannabe-horror screenwriters, who travel to a remote artists' retreat. They find beautiful scenery, even more beautiful women, a Shakespeare-quoting proprietor, and a mysterious found-art recluse. Yet, instead of inspiration, Todd and Bruce find death and deception. One by one, the other artists die, each in a more gruesome way than the last. The morbid atmosphere proves perfect for Todd's writing, but will he live to finish the script?
“As maliciously entertaining as it is very, very funny,” according to Mark Bullock of HackedintheHead.com, Steve Kopera's film "does for murder-mystery what Shaun of the Dead did for zombie films" (B-Movie Avenger).

Bo Keister is a veteran actor and producer, appearing in numerous feature films, such as "Remember the Titans", "Killing Kennedy", and the multiple award-winning indie features, "The Cabining" & "House of Good and Evil", to name a few. Bo is the lead host, and co-producer, of the rapidly growing horror-comedy series, "Hillbilly Horror Show". His other acting credits include several TV and web series shows, as well as numerous commercials for companies like Office Depot®, Coke®, NASCAR® and US Cellular®.
He was born and raised in the small town of Dublin, Virginia. His father, Benny, was the Delegate for the 6th District to the Virginia General Assembly and former mayor of the town. Bo's mother, Harriet, is a retired high school teacher of 36 years.
After attending East Tennessee State, he moved to Wilmington, NC to begin his acting career. There he landed his first two speaking roles in "Remember The Titans" and "Vampire's Anonymous". Afterward he spent 7 years in Los Angeles, before returning to Virginia, where he lives with his two sons, Hayden and Seth.
Today, Bo is a full-time actor/producer splitting time between Los Angeles and Virginia.

After attending East Tennessee State, he moved to Wilmington, NC to begin his acting career. There he landed his first two speaking roles in "Remember The Titans" and "Vampire's Anonymous". Afterward he spent 7 years in Los Angeles, before returning to Virginia, where he lives with his two sons, Hayden and Seth.
Today, Bo is a full-time actor/producer splitting time between Los Angeles and Virginia.

Writer/director Steve Kopera, along with his actor/producer brother Mike Kopera, are set to released their first collaborative feature film, "The Cabining."
"The Cabining" finished an impressive film festival run, winning awards at the Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival, the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival, and the Indie Gathering. Following a full-capacity screening at LA's Chinese Theater in June, Indican Pictures acquired "The Cabining" for national distribution. In October 2014, horror fansite DreadCentral.com tapped "The Cabining" as one of their 10 Amazing Indie Horror Films You May Have Missed.
The story follows Todd and Bruce, a pair of wannabe-horror screenwriters, who travel to a remote artists' retreat. They find beautiful scenery, even more beautiful women, a Shakespeare-quoting proprietor, and a mysterious found-art recluse. Yet, instead of inspiration, Todd and Bruce find death and deception. One by one, the other artists die, each in a more gruesome way than the last. The morbid atmosphere proves perfect for Todd's writing, but will he live to finish the script?
“As maliciously entertaining as it is very, very funny,” according to Mark Bullock of HackedintheHead.com, Steve Kopera's film "does for murder-mystery what Shaun of the Dead did for zombie films" (B-Movie Avenger).
"The Cabining" is currently airing on Encore Suspense throughout December 2015. It is also available for digital download on iTunes and Amazon Prime.
Todd and Bruce, a hapless screenwriting team, get one last shot at success thanks to Todd's wealthy uncle, Sarge. If they pen a worthy horror script, Sarge will fund the entire project. But there is one condition - the script must be complete in two weeks. With the deadline looming and no fresh ideas, Todd and Bruce head to Shangri-La, a serene artist's retreat, with the hope that the peace and company of fellow artists will inspire greatness... or, failing greatness, at least enough for straight-to-DVD. Shangri-La proves to be anything but serene, as the artists die off one by one, seemingly by accident. Bruce convinces Todd to soak in this morbid atmosphere to help with the writing, but soon those two are fighting for their lives as well.
