Quotes:
Trixie: [at the vending machine, Twilight ponders how to get food out of it] Excuse me. [bombastically] The Great and Powerful Trixie! [normal tone]... needs some peanut butter crackers.::[she places a coin in, and retrieves the crackers]::Trixie: Voilà!
Twilight Sparkle: But the fall formal *has* to happen tonight. [sighs] You see...::Pinkie Pie: You're from an alternate world and you're a pony princess there and the crown *actually* has a magical element embedded in it that helps power up other magical elements and without it they don't work anymore, and you need them all to help protect your magical world, and if you don't get the crown tonight, you'll be stuck in *this* world and you won't be able to get back for like a really, really long time! [squee]
Princess Celestia: Sunset Shimmer, is she all right?::Twilight Sparkle: I think she's going to be fine. I left her in good hands.::Rainbow Dash: What are hands?
Twilight Sparkle: [talking about Flash Sentry] Don't be ridiculous. I don't even know him. He just...::Pinkie Pie: Totally reminds you of a guy you met in the other world who played guitar, was in a band, and helped prove you didn't destroy all the decorations for a big dance, so you could still run for princess of the big dance, and asked you to dance at that dance! [big breath] Right?::Twilight Sparkle: How did you know that?::Pinkie Pie: Just a hunch. [squee]
Spike: Those are my girls! Woo-hoo!::Drummer: Did that dog just talk? Whoa. Weird.::Spike: Seriously? The talking dog is the weird thing about all this?
Pinkie Pie: If I only had some kind of party cannon that could decorate everything super fast!
Twilight Sparkle: Looks like if I want my crown back, I'll have to become Princess of the Canterlot High Fall Formal. So that's what I'm gonna do!::Spike: And how exactly do you plan on doing that?::Twilight Sparkle: I have no idea!
Rainbow Dash: So what's the plan? How can I help you be princess instead of Sunset Shimmer?::Twilight Sparkle: But... but I... lost!::Rainbow Dash: Of course you lost. I'm awesome! But I'm not going to ask just anyone to try and beat Sunset Shimmer. The Fall Formal Princess should be someone with heart and determination. You've proved that you've got 'em both!
Spike: Sure would love a scratch behind the old ears!::Rarity: Gah...::Spike: Uh, maybe later.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm glad you followed me here, Spike.::Spike: Me too... Unless of course we get stuck here for another thirty moons.

Plot: In 2010, producer Lauren Faust reworked the notoriously sexist My Little Pony franchise to attempt a quality TV series for both girls and their parents to enjoy, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. As it turns out, Faust succeeded beyond anyone's expectations with an acclaimed hit that also created an adult and teen male fandom no one saw coming, the Bronies. This film explores this following with a look at the franchise, the lives of particular fans around the world and the creative passions their seemingly unusual interest inspires. Although sometimes troubled by the prejudice of others, these kindred spirits enjoy a community experience both in spirit and at conventions that has a special magic all its own.

Quotes:
Tara Strong: I wouldn't be surprised if My Little Pony has a hand in changing how people see things.
Lauren Faust: These Bronies are taking these lessons to heart. We need to allow men to be sensitive and to care about one another, and not call them weak for caring.
Cathy Weseluck: It's a show that has actually created a community. I think it's a visceral thing that's happening here, I think it's connected to the heart, and I think the show is a show of excellence.
Kira Buckland: Bronycon means to me, a place where people can go and be tolerated and accepted, it doesn't matter who you are, you can find a place in this fandom and you can be accepted and I think that's really cool, because a lot of other fandoms are restrictive.

Plot: The Spaetkauf (Late Night Shop) has been at the heart of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg and an integral part of people's daily lives for over 13 years. A place to meet and hang out, local bar, grapevine, a place to buy anything you might need out of hours. A place to forget your worries. Where there is always time for the customer. Every night and all day Sunday. With reggae, dub & hip hop playing out of the speakers onto the street. Tommy, the Englishman, has worked in the Spaetkauf for years, selling the wares and dealing with arguing couples, lost tourists, drunken locals, late night discussions, participating in heated basketball games, visiting late night clubs and suffering hangovers. A kaleidoscope of people offering glimpses into their lives, hopes and thoughts, weaving a tapestry of local life. But over recent years the neighbourhood has vastly changed. Property development, rising rents and the influx of a more affluent class has seen a deterioration in the social network, leaving the shop as the only reminder of a neighbourhood long gone. Now the supermarket has been refurbished and re-opens until midnight every night. With ever dwindling regular customers, the takings have plummeted. The shop is being put out of business. The decision is made to close. As news spreads, old faces from the past appear, not all of them welcome. Tommy recalls the past, portrays the present and predicts the future with the friends and customers who pass by the shop as they all try to come to terms with the loss of this local institution. Tommy is forced to confront and reflect upon the change and upheaval in his life as well as facing some difficult home truths.

Plot: Upon his release from a mental hospital following a nervous breakdown, the directionless Anthony joins his friend Dignan, who seems far less sane than the former. Dignan has hatched a hare-brained scheme for an as-yet-unspecified crime spree that somehow involves his former boss, the (supposedly) legendary Mr. Henry. With the help of their pathetic neighbor and pal Bob, Anthony and Dignan pull a job and hit the road, where Anthony finds love with motel maid Inez. When our boys finally hook up with Mr. Henry, the ensuing escapade turns out to be far from what anyone expected.

Quotes:
Dignan: What do you think I was doing the whole time you were out there man? I told you Dignan got fired, out on his ass. But you didn't think about that, did you. In the end it's easier to think about yourself than it is to think about Dignan.
Dignan: What a lemon! One minute it's running like a top, and the next it's broken down on the side of the road. And I can't fix a car like this, because I don't have the tools! And even if I did have the tools I don't know if I could fix a car like this!
Anthony: Maybe we should've robbed your house. You ever think of that?::Dignan: You know there's nothing to steal from my mom and Craig!
Dignan: They'll never catch me... because I'm fucking innocent.
Bob: Wha - why is there tape on your nose?::Dignan: Exactly!
Dignan: [points to Bob] He's out. [points to Anthony] And you're out, too. And I dont think I'm in, either. No gang!
Dignan: Okay. There, you see the star is me, right there, and I'll be in there. The X is Anthony. Bob, you're the zero out here in the car.
Kumar: Man, I blew it. I blew it, man.::Anthony: Kumar, what were you doing in the freezer?::Kumar: I don't know, man, I lose my touch, man.::Dignan: Did you ever have a touch to lose, man?
Dignan: We'll get him. We'll get him. Man, dont worry about that, we'll get him. And when we do, we'll blow up his car, do something. I can guarantee you that. What makes me furious is thinking about the look on Bob's fat face, thinking he pulled one over on us. I tell you another thing. If our paths cross again, you're gonna see a side of Dignan that you havent seen before. A sick, sadistic side, cause I'm furious at Bob.
Dignan: Bob Mapplethorpe, potential get-away driver: go!::Bob: Well, I think there's a real air of mystery about me.::Dignan: Don't complicate it. Your number one strength is you have a car you can provide. Sell yourself! Start over. Ready, go!::Bob: Okay, alright. I'm a risk taker! I'm growin' an entire crop of marijuana plants in my parents back yard! I think that shows...::Dignan: Wait, you're growing an entire crop of marijuana in your back yard?::Bob: Dignan, look. I'm just not very good at this selling-yourself stuff, okay? So, I'm just gonna tell you the truth. I really wanna be a part of this team. And I'm the only one with a car.::Dignan: That's good. That's good. 'Cause that hits me right here.
