Fifty-Fifty may refer to:
Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, investor, record producer, and actor. He rose to fame with the release of his albums Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2003) and The Massacre (2005). His album Get Rich or Die Tryin' has been certified eight times platinum by the RIAA.
Born in the South Jamaica of Queens, New York City, Jackson began drug dealing at the age of twelve during the 1980s crack epidemic. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he was shot at and struck by nine bullets during an incident in 2000. After releasing his album Guess Who's Back? in 2002, Jackson was discovered by rapper Eminem and signed to Interscope Records. With the help of Eminem and Dr. Dre, who produced his first major commercial successes, Jackson became one of the world's highest selling rappers. In 2003, he founded the record label G-Unit Records, which signed several successful rappers such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.
Marvin Bernard (born on March 31, 1978), better known by his stage name Tony Yayo, is a rapper and member of the hip hop group G-Unit. Tony Yayo was brought up in South Jamaica, Queens, New York and is longtime friends with 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. He is signed to 50 Cent's record label G-Unit Records and recently signed a deal with EMI which will release his second untitled album. He is CEO to the label G-Unit Philly.
G-Unit boss 50 Cent was granted his own record label, "G-Unit Records" by Interscope after releasing his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'. Soon after the group had established their own record label, G-Unit Records, G-Unit released their first official group album Beg for Mercy in November 2003, which went on to be certified 2x Platinum in the United States. The album was released whilst Tony Yayo was in prison serving time, but Yayo still featured on the album. The second G-Unit album T.O.S: Terminate on Sight was released in July, 2008 and went on to sell 102,000 copies in the first week, and later going Gold shipping nearly 700,000 copies.[citation needed]
Chorus:I never knew what's in it Love
What's in it for me
I figured out the figure of love
And get to 50 / 50
Verse:Intercity 2 way pretty
Yeah
I bought myself a first class ticket this time
A to B and Cee with you and me
When we listen to the rhythm of this track
Ain't no holding back
Ain't no holding back from me
I'm fully packed with pump-ability
And when I drive by
You get down on your knees
I surprise eyes
Yes baby it's I say
Chorus:I never knew what's in it Love
What's in it for me
I figured out the figure of love
and get to 50 / 50
Bridge:Try to find out for yourself
‘s gonna take you a long way from home
I'll be your cabdriver baby
Soul survivor
You are not alone 'cause I
Chorus:Never knew what's in it Love
What's in it for me
I figured out the figure of love
and get to 50 / 50
Solo:Guitar
Singin'!
Chorus:I never knew what's in it
Love
What's in it for me
I figured out the figure of love
and get to 50 / 50
50 for you
And then a 50 for me
Lotta mercy on our souls
Outro:Cupid
Draw back your bow
And let your arrow flow
Straight to me lovers' hart for I
Ay YaY YaY say
Cupid
Draw back your bow
And now let that freaky arrow flow
Straight to me lovers' hart for me
Now I say
