Danna Paola Rivera Munguía (born 23 June 1995 in Mexico City), better known as Danna Paola, is a Mexican singer, actress, model, fashion designer and recording artist. She gained popularity in her native Mexico as a child actress and singer, starring in dozens of television projects throughout her early childhood and adolescence.
Paola was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the daughter of Patricia Munguia and Juan Jose Rivera Arellano, the former singer of Grupo Ciclón and Los Caminantes. Her parents divorced during her childhood. She has an older sister, Vania.
Paola's acting career began in 1999 when at age 4 she and her sister attended Televisa's casting call in Mexico City for Plaza Sésamo, the Mexican version of Sesame Street. Both were later cast on the show and appeared in several episodes. One year later at age 5, she was cast in the telenovela, Rayito de Luz, in 2000. In 2001, she received her first lead role in the children's telenovela, María Belén. The same year, she released her debut album, titled Mi Globo Azul.
Danna Paola is the self-titled extended play by Mexican actress and singer, Danna Paola. Released in September 2007 by Universal Music, the EP includes only five tracks. The songs were especially written for Paola who, at the time, was entering adolescence. The authors are Pambo, Liquits and Xabi San Martín, from La Oreja de Van Gogh.
Danna Paola is the self-titled fourth studio album by Mexican actress and singer, Danna Paola. The album was released worldwide on June 5, 2012 by Universal Music. The album is notable for Paola's increasingly prominent role in the production, and being the transition album away from her bubblegum pop sound and teen pop image from her previous three albums, and leaning increasingly towards more electronic sounds and romantic ballads.
La Chica Ye Ye
No te quieres enterar
que te quiero de verdad
No te quieres enterar
No te quieres enterar, ye ye
No te quieres enterar, ye ye
que te quiero de verdad, ye ye
Y vendrás a pedirme y a rogarme
Y vendrás como siempre a suplicarme
Que sea tu chica, tu chica ye ye
