A group of explorers from Hong Kong and Turkey believe they've made a discovery of Biblical proportions. The group say they have found the remnants of Noah's Ark, resting at 13,000 feet atop Mount Ararat. Previous ARK expeditions in decades past have also found evidence that suggested Noah's Ark may have come to rest on Ararat. However, until now, video evidence has been scant. Radio carbon dating, the researchers say, indicates this find is 4,800 years old. If true, THIS is the most significant historical discovery in human history. It will be very telling to see how this story plays out in the main stream media.

Chinese explorers stand by claim of Noah's Ark find in Turkey
The Hong Kong-based team rebutted skepticism over their claims of finding Noah's Ark in Turkey. Two members of the search team that claims to have found Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat in Turkey responded to skepticism by saying that there is no plausible explanation for what they found other than it is the fabled biblical boat that weathered a storm that raged 40 days and 40 nights and flooded the entire Earth.
Noah's Ark Ministries International (NAMI) held a press conference April 25 in Hong Kong to present their findings and say they were “99.9 percent sure” that a wooden structure found at a 12,000-ft. elevation and dated as 4,800 years old was Noah’s Ark.

“How can a ship be on a mountain?” Yeung Wing-cheung, one of six team members who entered the structure on Mount Ararat last October, told the Monitor today by telephone from Hong Kong.

"So up to now I believe this is the most probable explanation. We don’t have another explanation." Turkish officials from Agri Province, the location of Mount Ararat, also attended this week’s press conference in Hong Kong. Lieutenant governor Murat Güven and Cultural Ministries Director Muhsin Bulut, both provincial officials, believe the discovery is likely Noah’s Ark, according to the announcement posted on the team's website.

Glimpses of Turkey: A small documentary on the famous Mount Ararat as seen from an altitude of over 12,000 metres above Sea Level while flying from Delhi to Frankfurt. Situated in a volcanic massif on the eastern extreme of Turkey, Ararat is widely regarded as the legendary mountain on which Noah’s Ark came to rest at the end of the great flood narrated in the Book of Genesis. It is situated close to where the national boundaries of Turkey, Iran and Armenia converge. As can be seen, Mount Ararat consists of two peaks – the Great Ararat on the left and the Little Ararat on the right. These two snow-capped mountains were formed due to volcanic eruptions. The last volcanic eruption took place in 1840. At 5165 metres above sea level, the Great Ararat is the highest peak of Turkey. The Little Ararat is 3896 metres above sea level and is situated 11 kilometres away from the Great Ararat. But looking from this great height, it looks as if the two Ararats are standing side by side. It just goes to underline that human perspectives are so subjective, situational and contextual! Yet, we routinely ignore this simple fact in our lives to create problems for us and for others. Because of its mention in the Book of Genesis, several legends and myths are associated with Mount Ararat. It is a sacred mountain for the Armenians who believe that they were the first humans to appear after the Deluge. A Persian legend, on the other hand, regards Mount Ararat as the cradle of human race.

In October 2009, an exploration team made a major breakthrough when team members entered a large wooden structure buried under volcanic rocks and ice, and proceeded to conduct field studies, take measurements and collect samples, with the entire process filmed. This is the first team in history to ever visually document the interior of the wooden structure on the mountain.
The initial discovery took place in June 2008. After the news of the discovery was shared with the world, the 25th of April 2010, within two days the news was 'poisened' by a message on the internet saying it was just a hoax, without having seen the evidence.

The remains of what very well may be Noah's Ark have been reportedly located on Mount Ararat in Turkey. The video evidence is compelling and the expedition well documented. Mt. Ararat is in the same general area that the Book of Genesis indicated the Ark would be. Decades of expeditions to Mt. Ararat have yielded promising clues, and in some cases, compelling evidence. So WHY is the American media ignoring - or ridiculing - this most important, ground breaking story?

A new study extends global average surface temperature records back to 2 million years ago, further back in time than any previous climate research. The research suggests that global warming from human emissions of greenhouse gases will cause far more warming, up to 9 degrees Celsius, or 16.2 degrees Fahrenheit, during the next several millennia than previously expected ...
