Remix: Making Art and Commerce Thrive in the Hybrid Economy is Lawrence Lessig's fifth book. It is available as a free download under a Creative Commons license. It details a hypothesis about the societal effect of the Internet, and how this will affect production and consumption of popular culture.
In Remix Lawrence Lessig, a Harvard law professor and a respected voice in what he deems the "copyright wars", describes the disjuncture between the availability and relative simplicity of remix technologies and copyright law. Lessig insists that copyright law as it stands now is antiquated for digital media since every "time you use a creative work in a digital context, the technology is making a copy" (98). Thus, amateur use and appropriation of digital technology is under unprecedented control that previously extended only to professional use.
Lessig insists that knowledge and manipulation of multi-media technologies is the current generation's form of "literacy"- what reading and writing was to the previous. It is the vernacular of today. The children growing up in a world where these technologies permeate their daily life are unable to comprehend why "remixing" is illegal. Lessig insists that amateur appropriation in the digital age cannot be stopped but only 'criminalized'. Thus most corrosive outcome of this tension is that generations of children are growing up doing what they know is "illegal" and that notion has societal implications that extend far beyond copyright wars. The book is now available as a free download under one of the Creative Commons' licenses.

Unbreakable: A Retrospective 1990–2006 is a compilation album from alternative rock band The Afghan Whigs, released on June 5, 2007 on Rhino Records.
The album came six years after the group disbanded in 2001. The latest line-up, last seen in activity on the 1998 album 1965 and during its subsequent tour, regrouped in late 2006 to record two new songs for the project, "Magazine" and "I'm A Soldier".
"Unbreakable" is a single by power metal band Stratovarius, released on 25 January 2013 through Edel AG. It features one track from the band's fourteenth studio album Nemesis, along with four tracks from previous albums.
Unbreakable is the eleventh studio album by American singer Janet Jackson. It was released on October 2, 2015, and is the first album released under her independent label Rhythm Nation Records, disseminated by BMG Rights Management. Seven years prior to its development, Jackson parted ways with Island Records due to dissatisfaction over the company's lack of promotion for her tenth studio album Discipline (2008). As a result, speculation arose as to whether she would pursue yet another traditional recording contract with a major label or release music through alternative means, such as the 360 deals offered by Live Nation Entertainment.
In 2009, she suffered the unexpected death of her brother Michael Jackson; she later performed a special tribute to him at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She also ended her seven-year relationship with record producer Jermaine Dupri. Although she began recording new material with producer Rodney Jerkins, she eventually abandoned the project. After starring in feature films Why Did I Get Married Too? and For Colored Girls in 2010, she embarked on the world concert tour Number Ones, Up Close and Personal in 2011 to promote her second compilation album. In 2013, she indicated she was once again working on a new record. Later that year, she also revealed that she was married to her third husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana. She announced in May 2015, that she would embark on the Unbreakable World Tour and release her eleventh studio album through her own independent record label as a result of a partnership between herself and BMG.
BBC Breakfast is a national British morning television news programme simulcast on BBC One and BBC News. It is presented live from MediaCityUK and contains a mixture of news, sport, weather, business and feature items. The programme is broadcast seven days a week, every week of the year, including weekends and public holidays.
Adam Bullimore is the editor. He had been the deputy editor for five years. Alison Ford, previously the UK Editor for BBC Newsgathering, was the editor of the programme until her death in July 2013. Her appointment followed the departure of David Kermode to 5 News.
Breakfast Time was the first BBC breakfast programme, with Ron Neil as producer. It was conceived in response to the plans of the commercial television company TV-am to introduce a breakfast television show. Breakfast Time's first broadcast was on 17 January 1983, featuring multiple presenters: Frank Bough, Selina Scott, Nick Ross and Russell Grant. The atmosphere of the set was intended to encourage a relaxed informality; a set that mimicked a living-room rather than a studio, with red leather sofas, and Bough and Ross wearing jumpers and open-necked shirts. This allowed for an unconventional mix of authoritative and highbrow news and informative and entertainment features that made the show dominate the new genre and trounce the anticipated threat by the star-name commercial TV rival. So, a senior government minister might be subjected to intense questioning while sitting on the red sofa, to be then included in the presentation of a food cooking demonstration. Breakfast Time lasted 150 minutes, initially being transmitted between 6.30 am and 9 am—moving to a 6.50 am to 9.20 am slot on 18 February 1985.
Pulse (Augustus), is a fictional character from the Marvel Comics universe. Pulse is a mutant who retained his powers post-M-Day. He first appeared in X-Men vol. 2, #173 (September, 2005).
Sometime after having escaped being an underground agent for Xavier, Mystique decided to prove to Rogue that Gambit was not right for her. Mystique's plan to rid Rogue of Gambit involved sowing discord in the couple's romance and, once the pair was soon to be no more, introduce Rogue to Augustus. Given the dialogue between Mystique and him, in which Mystique says she "wanted to see for [herself] that [Augustus] is the man she hopes he is," it can be assumed that the associates did not yet know each other well.
Augustus and Mystique were next seen, stealing paintings from a house. Mystique asks what he does with all of the money he gets from selling stolen goods on the black market, he replies that he invests the money into stocks he knows will soon crash, as he gets some kind of sick pleasure out of losing other peoples' money. Mystique replies, "Time you were safely married, Augustus." Augustus is worried about Gambit's reaction, and comically remarks upon the authenticity of how Cajun he really is. Mystique then reveals she is certain that of all the men she checked out to be Rogue's new romance, Augustus is the one who can "make my daughter happy."

Overload, oooh the pulse
Anyhting you say to me, I will believe
Rain on me
Overload, oooh the pulse
I won't stop till the passion spits
And sweat drips
Rain on me
The greedy body is forced to be
Content with a single sensation
My oars lie flat on the water
I think I can see it call through the haze
Somewhere between fear and sex
My passion lies
My feelin's turn to rain and fly away
Overload
(Overload)
Oooh the pulse
(Oooh, the pulse)
Anyhting you say to me, I will believe
(Anything you say to me, I will, I will, I will)
Rain on me
Overload
(Overload)
Oooh the pulse
I won't stop till the passion spits
And sweat drips
Rain on me
Your warm breath rushes out of me
Like the dragons fire
I will reach in and withdraw your heart
And offer you a paradise
(As your desperate)
As your desperate touch leaves me
Desperate for another
(Desperate for another)
There is never enough garden for my love
So countdown to
Overload, oooh the pulse
Anyhting you say to me, I will believe
Rain on me
(You gotta rain on me)
Overload
(Yeah)
Oooh the pulse
I won't stop till the passion spits
And sweat drips
Rain on me
Let the pulse become the focus
(Oooh the pulse)
Let the pulse become the focus
(Anything you say to me I will believe)
(Rain on me)
(Overload)
Let the pulse become the focus
(Oooh the pulse)
I won't stop till the passion spits
And sweat drips
Rain on me
I won't stop till the passion spits
And sweat drips
