The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds came out 50 years ago. It still feels fresh today.

The Beach Boys' "Wouldn’t It Be Nice" and "Sloop John B," two of the three singles from Pet Sounds, charted incredibly well in the US, and "Sloop John B" also performed well in the UK ... The rest of the first side (which ends with "Sloop John B") similarly tackles falling in love or being in love in various contexts ... "Sloop John B" finishes out the first side....

Brewery Ommegang, the Belgian-style beer company in Cooperstown, had a huge night Friday as the 2016 World Beer Cup awards were announced in Philadelphia. Ommegang took home the title of World Champion in the category of "mid-sized brewery," along with three medals for individual beers.
