The Bank of England, formally the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, is the central bank of the United Kingdom and the model on which most modern central banks have been based. Established in 1694, it is the second oldest central bank in the world, after the Sveriges Riksbank, and the world's 8th oldest bank. It was established to act as the English Government's banker and is still the banker for the Government of the United Kingdom. The Bank was privately owned by stockholders from its foundation in 1694 until nationalised in 1946.
In 1998, it became an independent public organisation, wholly owned by the Treasury Solicitor on behalf of the government, with independence in setting monetary policy.
The Bank is one of eight banks authorised to issue banknotes in the United Kingdom, but has a monopoly on the issue of banknotes in England and Wales and regulates the issue of banknotes by commercial banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Bank's Monetary Policy Committee has devolved responsibility for managing monetary policy. The Treasury has reserve powers to give orders to the committee "if they are required in the public interest and by extreme economic circumstances" but such orders must be endorsed by Parliament within 28 days. The Bank's Financial Policy Committee held its first meeting in June 2011 as a macro prudential regulator to oversee regulation of the UK's financial sector.
England i/ˈɪŋɡlənd/ is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. It shares land borders with Scotland to the north and Wales to the west. The Irish Sea lies northwest of England and the Celtic Sea lies to the southwest. England is separated from continental Europe by the North Sea to the east and the English Channel to the south. The country covers much of the central and southern part of the island of Great Britain, which lies in the North Atlantic; and includes over 100 smaller islands such as the Isles of Scilly, and the Isle of Wight.
The area now called England was first inhabited by modern humans during the Upper Palaeolithic period, but takes its name from the Angles, one of the Germanic tribes who settled during the 5th and 6th centuries. England became a unified state in the 10th century, and since the Age of Discovery, which began during the 15th century, has had a significant cultural and legal impact on the wider world. The English language, the Anglican Church, and English law – the basis for the common law legal systems of many other countries around the world – developed in England, and the country's parliamentary system of government has been widely adopted by other nations. The Industrial Revolution began in 18th-century England, transforming its society into the world's first industrialised nation.
Enter Shikari are a British rock band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England in 1999 under the name Hybryd by Chris Batten, Rou Reynolds, and Rob Rolfe. In 2003, Rory Clewlow joined the band and it adopted its current name. Enter Shikari's debut studio album, Take to the Skies, was released on 19 March 2007 and reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart; their second, Common Dreads, was released on 15 June 2009 and debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 16; and their third, A Flash Flood of Colour, was released on 16 January 2012 and debuted on the chart at number 4. Enter Shikari then spent a considerable amount of time supporting the release through the A Flash Flood of Colour World Tour, before beginning work on a fourth studio album, The Mindsweep, which was released in January 2015. The band is named after Shikari, a boat belonging to vocalist Rou Reynolds' uncle, and has had the same four members since the addition of Clewlow in 2003.
Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926) is, and has been since her accession in 1952, Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and Head of the Commonwealth. She is also Queen of 12 countries that have become independent since her accession: Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Elizabeth was born in London to the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and was the elder of their two daughters. She was educated privately at home. Her father acceded to the throne on the abdication of his brother Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She began to undertake public duties during World War II, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, with whom she has four children: Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Edward.
Keeping on an even keel: the role of the Bank of England is a short film that uses nautical metaphors and animation to explain the Bank's roles and responsibilities in an accessible, imaginative and entertaining way. The film is divided into seven short modules, which provide a simple guide to the Bank's monetary policy and financial stability roles. They explain why low inflation and a safe and stable financial system matter to the UK economy and how the Bank contributes to achieving them.
Stung again folks, if we coined our own money free of charge instead of borrowing it from Private Bankers like the Rothschilds who own the Bank of England, there would be no Govt Borrowing, no Govt Debt ( currently well over £1 Trillion ) and hence absolutely no need for income tax to pay these totally uneccesary loans back. Those 'clashes' at the despatch box, just like Parliament itself are a charade, designed to give us the illusion of choice,no matter who we vote for, the Bankers own the leadership of all the main political parties.
Video links below: There is a law that keeps the Bank of Englands shareholders secret. This is the only company in the Uk allowed to do this. Why... obvious. Like all secrets, its because they know we would have a shit fit if we knew the truth of whos creaming off all the money. The most likely candidates are the Queen and the Rothschilds. Channel 4 the Great Britain newschannel missed all the real news points and the issues upon the Queen's visit to the bank of England in 2013. When Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visited the Bank of England - the British Channel 4 Press inferred that by her asking questions about the financial crisis - she may be interfering with the Bank of England. Meanwhile the Rothschild owners of the Bank of England were absent. They were afterall the main cause of the crisis - shame on them. How? Through their Cartel of subsidiary banks operated by the cultist Rothchild's and associates who also own the Bank of England, banks of Switzerland and Federal Reserve and nearly all the private central banks in the world. Therefore this is another example of the hypocrisy and your mind control by the wh...

Whatever it is spit it into a bottle and sell it to me
I? m looking to buy freedom from my sobriety
Just like Huey Lewis
I need a new drug, I need a new drink
I need a new drug that does what it should
So take me to the bank
Take me to the bar
Can you take me to the hot spot?
This is what we worked so hard to afford but
Take me to the bank
Can you take me to the bar?
Can you take me to the hot spot?
This is what we worked so hard to afford but
How I wanna hide
The next time you visit me here
How about coming out to my place
We can sit on the floor and play my brother? s records
We can sit on the grownup bed
Couple with the coin
Lighting up to join the coping crowd
My big brother said to stay unsatisfied
Never work a day to pay off your desire
Couple with the coin
