How to use a cpn to create a new personal credit file?
The reason I say credit privacy number, some people say credit profile number, but it's actually credit privacy number, because as time went on, people was just trying to figure out the proper name for it, but it is a credit privacy number.
And then the
SCN is a secondary credit number. So those are the proper terms for it.
One of the big questions that I get from you guys when you communicate with me, you ask me, how do I create a new credit file using a
CPN or an SCN, a credit profile number SCN? One of the things
... Once they generate that nine digit number for you, many people, they would apply for a car loan, and then after they get denied a car loan... So, usually people would apply for a car loan through
Capital One, they get denied the car loan, then they turn around maybe 10,
20 minutes later, and then they apply for a credit card and they get approved.
However, that's not truly the proper way.
You can do it that way, but sometimes you get stuck in a rut. Then, like I said, when they create that number, if that number hasn't been properly validated and investigated, you're gonna have some challenges because it's certain documentation, which we'll talk about in a later video, that most creditors would ask for, because there may be a conflicting of information. So, we're gonna talk about that in another video, but moving forward, again, once that nine digit number is created, then the next step, the proper step, is to add AUs and primaries on it.
The reason you want to do that, if you can find primaries, fortunate enough for us, we do have a couple primaries to add on to the CPN file, but the main thing is establishing a credit file report. Where most people, when they create their nine digit number, they start applying for credit, but what happens is, because you don't have no history under that number or showing any type of establishment related to that number and stuff, all you do is create a whole bunch of inquiries and then after eight to ten inquiries, you start burning the number up.
Most people don't understand why they're not getting approved, because I have had a client in the past that was issued a bad number, and he kept on applying for things, and I think he got up to maybe about 69 or 70 inquiries, and this is within
30 days 'cause he kept on applying for credit and stuff like that. And they kept on asking for documentation and documentation, and because the people did not thoroughly check the number to make sure it was a good valid number that had never been issued, he ended up burning that number up. And so once that number's burned up, it's just a waste of money. So that's the reason I tell you guys to make sure that that number is validated and properly investigated, and they're able to put paperwork in your hand to let you know, "
Hey, this number has been thoroughly checked, it's never been issued, and you're good to go on this number."
Creating a new credit profile using a CPN or SCN, you would add AUs, and the thing about adding AUs, you want to make sure or try to deal with a person that has access to AUs main authorized users. These are people that's giving you permission to be on their credit cards.
Alright? So when you add AUs, make sure that if you can try to get two AUs and you want to try to get them at least coming from the same address, that's very important.
I'll explain it like this. If you stay in
New York and your CPN is issued in
Ohio, and then you get your AUs from
Florida and
California, you're gonna have all these multiple addresses under your CPN. And this confuses the system and it confuses the creditor, especially if it's a new number because now you're looking like identity theft. So that's the reason that I try to put emphasis on, when you have that number, see if they can create that number in your state, and if at all possible, when they add the AUs, they may not be in the same state, but at least try to get them to makes sure that address for those AUs are coming from the same address, instead of from around the states.
That's where a lot of people's files get locked up and they get a lot of denial letters at the end of putting a lot of inquiries and burning up the file, because they have too much information going on that's not consistent. So if you have a CPN from the state that you live in, not to the address that you put under... Use it for the CPN, then you add that with two AUs on the same address. You'll only have two addresses to worry about. So you don't want three and four addresses under your CPN. So that's the reason that I tell people...
