One Second may refer to:
One Second is Yello's fifth original studio album, having been preceded by a 'new mix' compilation the previous year. Released in 1987, the album is noteworthy for featuring both Billy MacKenzie and Shirley Bassey, the latter singing vocals on "The Rhythm Divine".
The songs "Call It Love", "Si Senor The Hairy Grill, "Moon On Ice", "Hawaiian Chance" were used on episodes of Miami Vice and the song "Santiago" used as a sample from Dunya Yunis' "Abu Zeluf".
"Oh Yeah" is an addition to the US version of the album, the track is originally on the previous album, Stella. Most vinyl and cassette versions of the album also omit the final track, "L'Hôtel."

The song "Mercy" has been alternately covered by Orphaned Land, on multiple releases, but the main recording session of the song was for The Calm Before the Flood.

For all these years I've been rushing and running away
I've seen the cities
the bars and the beaches
A fool - to keep away from you.
I know I meet you a day for a lifetime I'm scared
One thousand years I can live on your smile
No escape - I'll run away forever.
Call it love
just call it love.
For all this time I've been crazy
there is no escape
I'm back in the city
back in my hometown and wait
I see your eyes forever.
I know I meet you a day for a lifetime I'm scared
One thousand years I can live on your smile
No escape - I'll run away forever.
