Il Primo giorno di scuola . C'è sempre una prima volta ed è stato cosi anche per Mister Roberto Mancini.Eravamo presenti al primo giorno di scuola da allenatore , di Roberto mancini ,nel glorioso campo della Sciorba a Genova . Lui era ancora giocatore nella sampdoria della famiglia mantiovani e con lui c'erano anche i suoi compagni di squadra: Evani, Invernizzi, Salsano, nonche il genoano mario Bortolazzi ,che diventerà poi vice di roberto Donadoni come allenatore della nazionale italiana. Roberto Mancini, come ci ha raccontato la sua maestra di scuola , non è mai stato una cima a scuola , eppure tutti ora conosciamo la sua carriera da allenatore.Qualcosa vediamo scritto tra i suoi appunti ,ma forse non è farina del suo sacco ..perchè per lui "il calcio" è...altrove. Appena ritiratosi dal calcio giocato, Mancini intraprende la carriera di allenatore come vice di mister Eriksson nella stagione 2000-2001 sulla panchina della Lazio, vincendo al fianco dello svedese anche una Supercoppa italiana nel 2000.Nel febbraio 2001, a stagione in corso, viene ingaggiato dalla Fiorentina per sostituire il turco Fatih Terim. Tale ingaggio suscita molte polemiche tra gli addetti ai lavori perché Mancini non era in possesso del patentino di allenatore di prima categoria ed era già stato in precedenza tesserato con la Lazio, infatti nel campionato italiano non è permesso ad un allenatore (a differenza dei calciatori) cambiare squadra nel corso della medesima stagione, Mancini però, in questo caso, alla Lazio era vice di Eriksson. Egli quindi, sosteneva per questa ragione di non stare violando la suddetta norma, mentre la quasi totalità degli altri allenatori sosteneva il contrario, alla fine ebbe ragione lui .Con la Fiorentina vince subito la Coppa Italia. L'11 gennaio 2002, dopo 17 partite, si dimette da tecnico ,approdando prima all'Inter e poi al Manchester City. With limited resources during his two season tenure, he still managed to win another Coppa Italia, reach a UEFA Cup semi-final, and secure a lucrative Champions League place.In 2004, Mancini was given the chance to manage a major club, being offered the manager's job at Internazionale. During his tenure at Inter, the club won three consecutive Serie A titles: an Inter club record and a European record 17 consecutive league game victories stretching nearly half a season. and became Inter's most successful manager in 30 years.Despite his domestic success, many pundits saw the repeated failure to win the coveted Champions League as the main reason for his sacking in 2008 After being out of football for over a year, Mancini was appointed Manchester City manager in December 2009 and his team-building achievements at Lazio and Inter were a factor in his appointment.
