The last miller at Upminster Windmill (1934) was Alfred Abraham, a very affable man. His daughter, Emily, once captioned a picture of her father as, 'The Jolly Miller'.
Prompted by Emily's remark, last year I asked my friend Richard Spencer, an accomplished pianist, organist, and composer, if he would kindly make an arrangement of the Jolly Miller of Dee that the windmill preservation society could use as theme music, and to my delight Richard came up with this wonderful set of variations on the traditional melody. Set in the style of the late Baroque (mid 1750's) they are in keeping with the time when the libretto was first penned (1762) by Isaac Bickerstaffe for his play, Love in a Village .
Here the music is performed in a setting for two pianos, but there is also a version for solo piano, and an orchestral version.
Richard tells me that he is not satisfied with the work and is making edits, but I am sure he is being far too modest -- what artist is ever satisfied with their creation?

Several historical bridges named London Bridge have spanned the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark, in central London. The current crossing, which opened to traffic in 1974, is a box girder bridge built from concrete and steel. This replaced a 19th-century stone-arched bridge, which in turn superseded a 600-year-old medieval structure. This was preceded by a succession of timber bridges, the first built by the Roman founders of London.
The current bridge stands at the western end of the Pool of London but is positioned 30 metres (98 ft) upstream from previous alignments. The traditional ends of the medieval bridge were marked by St Magnus-the-Martyr on the northern bank and Southwark Cathedral on the southern shore. Until Putney Bridge opened in 1729, London Bridge was the only road-crossing of the Thames downstream of Kingston-upon-Thames. Its importance has been the subject of popular culture throughout the ages such as in the nursery rhyme "London Bridge Is Falling Down" and its inclusion within art and literature.

London 
i/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. Boyce Avenue
Boyce Avenue is an American rock band formed in Sarasota, Florida, by Alejandro Luis Manzano and his brothers Daniel Enrique Manzano, Fabian Rafael Manzano. The band is named after a combination of two streets the brothers lived on as children. As of August 9, 2011, they are no longer signed to Universal Republic and have started their own independent record label called 3 Peace Records. Boyce Avenue releases original music as well as covers of contemporary and classic songs on YouTube. Boyce Avenue has also collaborated with other YouTube artists such as Hannah Trigwell, Kina Grannis, Tiffany Alvord, Megan Nicole, Alex Goot, Megan & Liz, David Choi, Tyler Ward, Savannah Outen, Cobus Potgieter and DeStorm Power as well as The X Factor season two finalists Fifth Harmony, Beatrice Miller, Diamond White and Carly Rose Sonenclar.
Boyce Avenue frequently tours in the United States, Canada, the European Union, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Biography
Daniel was born on October 4, 1980. Fabian was born on July 1, 1984. Alejandro was born on October 4, 1986. The three attended Pine View High School. Fabian and Daniel played basketball through it while Alejandro sang in the choir and was named Mr. Pine View.

MTV2
MTV2 is an American digital cable and satellite television channel that is owned by Viacom Music and Entertainment Group, a unit of the Viacom Media Networks division of Viacom. The channel also broadcasts over-the-air in selected markets where the former all-request music channel known as The Box was broadcast (which was acquired by MTV Networks in 2001 for the sole purpose of conversion to MTV2), though these stations have been sold off in recent years, and MTV2 is no longer broadcast over the air and is now only available by cable.
When it was launched in 1996, the original purpose of the channel was to give music fans a place to see constant, commercial-free music videos, once the original MTV had started to change its direction from music and concentrate on reality television and soap operas. Today, the network carries mainly music-focused reality television programming, game shows, archived MTV reality programming, and some older sitcoms and dramas, with music programming limited to weekend and graveyard slots. The network has a mainly young male focus to its main original programming.

Sarah Hyland
Sarah Jane Hyland (born November 24, 1990) is an American actress. Born in New York, Hyland attended the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, followed by small roles in the films Private Parts (1997), Annie (1999), and Blind Date (2007). She gained her first major role as Haley Dunphy on the ABC sitcom Modern Family (2009–present), for which she has received critical acclaim and numerous accolades and nominations, sharing four Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series with her cast members and garnering a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Alongside Modern Family, Hyland is also known for her roles in the films Struck by Lightning (2012), Scary Movie 5 (2013), and Vampire Academy (2014).
Early life
Hyland was born in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of actors Melissa Canaday and Edward James Hyland. She is the older sister of actor Ian Hyland. She attended the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan.

Upminster Windmill Jolly Miller
The last miller at Upminster Windmill (1934) was Alfred Abraham, a very affable man. His daughter, Emily, once captioned a picture of her father as, 'The Jolly Miller'. Prompted by Emily's remark, last year I asked my friend Richard Spencer, an accomplished pianist, organist, and composer, if he would kindly make an arrangement of the Jolly Miller of Dee that the windmill preservation society could use as theme music, and to my delight Richard came up with this wonderful set of variations on the traditional melody. Set in the style of the late Baroque (mid 1750's) they are in keeping with the time when the libretto was first penned (1762) by Isaac Bickerstaffe for his play, Love in a Village . Here the music is performed in a setting for two pianos, but there is also a version for solo pia...

So Hello from London! Time for a new destination. This is a city that I haven't visited in almost 4 years. So we're both very excited to be in London. And we're going to be making a little video guide. Actually a really big video guide because we plan on showing you 50 different things to do around London.
Our first stop was Trafalgar Square. This square leads to a lot of central attractions, so it's a nice place to people watch, get your bearings, and plan out where you want to go in the city.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames. It offers a bird's eye view of the city.
Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for Britain's sovereigns since 1837. The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every year.
The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament, is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Palace along with Big Ben are two of the top London attractions that dot the city-scape.
The Tower of London sits on the north bank of the River Thames.
And that's a wrap for London! Like with any mega city, it's impossible to cover all the sights and attractions you can enjoy here, but hopefully this video will give you an idea of what London has to offer.

Upminster Windmill Jolly Miller
The last miller at Upminster Windmill (1934) was Alfred Abraham, a very affable man. His daughter, Emily, once captioned a picture of her father as, 'The Jolly Miller'. Prompted by Emily's remark, last year I asked my friend Richard Spencer, an accomplished pianist, organist, and composer, if he would kindly make an arrangement of the Jolly Miller of Dee that the windmill preservation society could use as theme music, and to my delight Richard came up with this wonderful set of variations on the traditional melody. Set in the style of the late Baroque (mid 1750's) they are in keeping with the time when the libretto was first penned (1762) by Isaac Bickerstaffe for his play, Love in a Village . Here the music is performed in a setting for two pianos, but there is also a version for solo pia...

DUBLINERS by James Joyce - FULL Audio Book | Greatest Audio Books - Dubliners is a collection of 15 short stories by James Joyce, first published in 1914. They form a naturalistic depiction of Irish middle class life in and around Dublin in the early years of the 20th century. The stories were written when Irish nationalism was at its peak and a search for a national identity and purpose was raging; at a crossroads of history and culture, Ireland was jolted by various converging ideas and influences. They centre on Joyce's idea of an epiphany: a moment where a character experiences self-understanding or illumination. Many of the characters in Dubliners later appear in minor roles in Joyce's novel Ulysses. The initial stories in the collection are narrated by child protagonists, and as the stories continue, they deal with the lives and concerns of progressively older people.
