New Cross is a district and ward of south London in the London Borough of Lewisham, England. It is situated 4.5 miles south-east of Charing Cross. The ward covered by London post town and the SE 14 postcode district. New Cross is near St Johns, Telegraph Hill, Nunhead, Peckham, Brockley, Deptford and Greenwich. New Cross is home to Goldsmiths, University of London, Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College and Addey and Stanhope School.
New Cross Gate, on the west of New Cross, is named after the New Cross tollgate, established in 1718 by the New Cross Turnpike Trust. It is the location of New Cross Gate station. New Cross Gate corresponds to the manor and district formerly known as Hatcham.
The area was originally known as Hatcham (the name persists in the title of the Anglican parishes of St. James, Hatcham along with its school, and All Saints, Hatcham Park). The earliest reference to Hatcham is the Domesday Book of 1086 as Hacheham. It was held by the Bishop of Lisieux from the Bishop of Bayeux. According to the entry in the Domesday Book Hatcham's assets were: 3 hides; 3 ploughs, 6 acres (24,000 m2) of meadow, woodland worth 3 hog and rendered £2.
Cross Gate (クロスゲート, Kurosu Gēto) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, developed by Dwango and published by Square Enix (originally Enix). It has been released in Japan, Taiwan, and mainland China since 2001.
On June 27, 2007, Square Enix announced that service of Cross Gate in Japan will be terminated at September 30, 2007. This will not affect the servers in China, Taiwan and Korea.
The sequel to the game, Concerto Gate, has finished its testing phase in Japan.
Cross Gate uses a traditional Japanese cartoon style and 2D graphics system with player characters pre-rendered in 3D. The battle style is turn-based resembling Dragon Quest series and players may choose to team up to a maximum of five players. There are 56 possible character choices, including 14 unique characters with 4 color variations. The game includes over 60 jobs and 80 unique skills.
One of the distinctive features of this game is its "Creature System." Slightly similar to the Pokémon series, this game allows players to carry five creatures with them while traveling and place one creature fighting with them while battling. There is a character class specialized in catching those creatures and trading them in an open marketplace where players bid for the strongest, rarest, or cutest creatures. By assigning ability points to five different dimensions when the creature levels up, each player may grow his/her unique creatures. There are around 200 creatures to collect.
Crossroads, or crossroad, or cross road may refer to:
A cross is a geometrical figure consisting of two lines or bars perpendicular to each other, dividing one or two of the lines in half. The lines usually run vertically and horizontally; if they run obliquely, the design is technically termed a saltire, although the arms of a saltire need not meet at right angles.
The cross is one of the most ancient human symbols, and has been used by many religions, most notably Christianity. It may be seen as a division of the world into four elements (Chevalier, 1997) or cardinal points, or alternately as the union of the concepts of divinity, the vertical line, and the world, the horizontal line (Koch, 1955).
The word cross comes ultimately from Latin crux, a Roman torture device used for crucifixion, via Old Irish cros. The word was introduced to English in the 10th century as the term for the instrument of the torturous execution of Jesus as described in the New Testament, gradually replacing the earlier word rood. Crux is possibly derived from Phoenician. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia cross does not come from crux but form the Latin curio, "to torment".
A gate or gateway is a point of entry to a space enclosed by walls, or a moderately sized opening in some sort of fence. Gates may prevent or control the entry or exit of individuals, or they may be merely decorative. Other terms for gate include yett and port. The word derives from the old Norse "gata", meaning road or path, and originally referred to the gap in the wall or fence, rather than the barrier which closed it. The moving part or parts of a gateway may be called "doors", but used for the whole point of entry door usually refers to the entry to a building, or an internal opening between different rooms.
A gate may have a latch to keep it from swinging and a lock for security. Larger gates can be used for a whole building, such as a castle or fortified town, or the actual doors that block entry through the gatehouse. Today, many gate doors are opened by an automated gate operator.
Types of gates include:

The city takes its name from the British navigator who landed here in 1792. The original settlement was called “Gastown”, in honor of Gassy Jack, who built the city’s first tavern. Gassy Jack and his makeshift pub may be long gone, but in the historic neighborhood of Gastown, his spirit lingers on. Vancouver’s early history continues at Waterfront Station, the western terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The railway’s construction brought Chinese workers by the thousands, whose descendants have enriched Vancouver ever since. Experience this interweaving of cultu...

Video: A long evening rush hour of spotting at mainly Purley, two trains at East Croydon in the Part 1 and a few more at New Cross Gate in this part. The main aim of this spot was to try and see if I could catch the brand new Gatwick Express Class 387 Electrostars and Thameslink Class 700 Desiro City trains, unfortunately I was only able to see the Gatwick Express Class 387s. A very enjoyable spot in terms of evening rush hour traffic, there lots of Class 442s (I'll be stocking up as much footage of them as possible as they'll be gone soon), unfortunately the new Class 700s have gone to night testing at the moment so it has become really difficult and rare to catch them in daylight. Also caught the increasingly rare Bedford-Brighton peak hour Thameslink Class 319, which is now commonly swa...

A journey onboard a Southern Rail class 377 "Electrostar" from Gatwick Airport to Honor Oak Park operating a slower, stopping Southern service from Horsham to London Bridge. These are nice trains to be honest, and they look really great with Southern! Note that this train doesn't stop anywhere between Norwood Junction and New Cross Gate (Honor Oak Park is one of these stations in between) but because I was getting off at New Cross Gate, I stopped filming a bit earlier. Maybe I should have kept filming until the train had completely stopped at New Cross Gate. Anyway, just enjoy it! Filmed on 17/06/2014 and please comment, rate and subscribe! I'm gonna poison the population
Gonna plan myself an assassination
On the hunt to kill again
I plan to butcher the planet
I'm like the cold hand of death
Reaching out to snatch the next
And when I'm through with them
Motherfucker you're the next fucking victim
In this necrosociety
In my necrosociety
I'll turn you all into blood sucking freaks
Those who won't turn meat
Feed to bleed to kill to live to die afraid
Of what I can do to you
The savior of mankind
The cause of world wide homicide
Fall to your knees and pray to me
My knife will set you free
In this necrosociety
In my necrosociety
I'm gonna murder everyone on earth
And when your dead I'm gonna kill myself
Murder mankind
Murder mankind
Murder mankind
Murder mankind
Murder mankind
