1. Nando's turned off the lights to appear closed, with no one inside. we where all rushed to the back of the restaurant and were asked to be quiet and not move much. This was instructions given to Nando's staff by police directly.
2. we are not laughing about the events, we were joking that Justin tried so hard to hide this from me so we could have a nice dinner, but then it backfired, as the whole place was suddenly involved.
3. The 3 men involved in the stabbing where already in custody at this point but there was a possible device/bomb threat they where on the lookout for, which is why we where evacuated with a police escort taking us AWAY from the possible area under threat.
4. This is shot on a iPhone 7, and shot well because my husband, Justin, is a camera man back home, so yes, it looks great because that's literally what he does.
5. this is edited, as there are a lot of dead space and "umm, uhh" that don't need to be here.
6. We hugged the staff as we parted ways because they took care of us well and we felt protected by them.
7. the biker wasn't aware of the situation because he, well, was on a bike. he didn't have in headphones (to listen to the radio or news) and was unaware of the situation as it was very fresh, and in a small area.
8. I didn't hear the 20 people come rushing in scared because the restaurant was very packed, loud, music was playing, and I was just eating, minding my own business.
9. the police asked us not to have our phones out for obvious reasons. they light up and are a distraction. Police wanted our full attention.
Justin and I are on vacation in London when the attack took place. We recorded our experience. Thank you to the team at Nando's near the river and the London police force - everyone was very helpful and made a very scary situation less scary. Much love to all of London.

The new ticket hall at London Bridge will open at the end of August 2016, as part of the station works are complete. We went to have a look at what's been happening, and what changes to expect.
Note, from the end of August 2016:
Cannon Street services will no longer stop at London Bridge (until the works are complete)
Almost all Charing Cross services resume stopping at London Bridge with the exception of morning trains leaving Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 8.04am and 9.17am. In the evening trains going into Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 4.37pm and 6.03pm

Time - 16:30 to 18:20
The evening rush hour at London Bridge, a request made by someone and I visit London Bridge in the afternoon. Also, the previous morning stay featured only Southeastern trains so this time it features Southern trains only (aside from a pair of Thameslink 377s on two Thameslink services).
Since hardly any Thameslink services are not included and not for a while, I will visit London Bridge again to feature them. (Do not worry!) Also due to delays and congestion outside the station, I had to miss the Eastbourne 442s which I found out later was 20 minutes late.
442401 and 442424 are featured working the 17:57 to Brighton and they make some noise with those ex-4-REP motors!

The construction of London Bridge began in 1176, during the reign of Henry II. The construction works took a long time and the costs were extremely high. It was completed in 1209, during the reign of King John Lackland. The resulting bridge was a unique architectural masterpiece at that time. The bridge was densely inhabited, with over a hundred houses and shops built on it; it was a separate district in Medieval London.
The bridge measured about 8 m in width and 250-300 m in length. In the centre, there was a 2 m wide road, which connected to two banks of the Thames. The pillars of the bridge were linked by spectacular arches. The foundations of the bridge heads were not on the shore, but in the riverbed. Gatehouses were built on the bridge heads and in the middle. On the two ends, there were wooden drawbridges. At the southern end of the bridge, the spiked heads of executed traitors offered an alarming sight. In the Tudor era, there were nearly 200 buildings on the bridge. Because of the increased traffic, the road was widened and divided into two lanes. Fire often hit the bridge, as the roofs were built of timber.
At the end of the 18th century, it became necessary to replace the almost 600-year-old bridge. The new, iron structure was opened in 1831. In the same year, the old bridge was demolished, today only a few of its elements are displayed in the parks of London.

Several historical bridges named London Bridge have spanned the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark, in central London. The current crossing, which opened to traffic in 1974, is a box girder bridge built from concrete and steel. This replaced a 19th-century stone-arched bridge, which in turn superseded a 600-year-old medieval structure. This was preceded by a succession of timber bridges, the first built by the Roman founders of London.
The current bridge stands at the western end of the Pool of London but is positioned 30 metres (98 ft) upstream from previous alignments. The traditional ends of the medieval bridge were marked by St Magnus-the-Martyr on the northern bank and Southwark Cathedral on the southern shore. Until Putney Bridge opened in 1729, London Bridge was the only road-crossing of the Thames downstream of Kingston-upon-Thames. Its importance has been the subject of popular culture throughout the ages such as in the nursery rhyme "London Bridge Is Falling Down" and its inclusion within art and literature.

London 
i/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. Bridge
A bridge is a structure built to span physical obstacles without closing the way underneath such as a body of water, valley, or road, for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle. There are many different designs that each serve a particular purpose and apply to different situations. Designs of bridges vary depending on the function of the bridge, the nature of the terrain where the bridge is constructed and anchored, the material used to make it, and the funds available to build it.
Etymology
The Oxford English Dictionary traces the origin of the word bridge to an Old English word brycg, of the same meaning. The word can be traced directly back to Proto-Indo-European *bʰrēw-. The word for the card game of the same name has a different origin.
History
The first bridges made by humans were probably spans of cut wooden logs or planks and eventually stones, using a simple support and crossbeam arrangement. Some early Americans used trees or bamboo poles to cross small caverns or wells to get from one place to another. A common form of lashing sticks, logs, and deciduous branches together involved the use of long reeds or other harvested fibers woven together to form a connective rope capable of binding and holding together the materials used in early bridges.

A nursery rhyme is a traditional poem or song for young children in Britain and many other countries, but usage only dates from the late 18th /early 19th century. In North America the term Mother Goose Rhymes, introduced in the mid-18th century, is still often used.

Lullabies
The oldest children's songs of which we have records are lullabies, intended to help a child sleep. Lullabies can be found in every human culture. The English term lullaby is thought to come from "lu, lu" or "la la" sound made by mothers or nurses to calm children, and "by by" or "bye bye", either another lulling sound, or a term for good night. Until the modern era lullabies were usually only recorded incidentally in written sources. The Roman nurses' lullaby, "Lalla, Lalla, Lalla, aut dormi, aut lacta", is recorded in a scholium on Persius and may be the oldest to survive.
Many medieval English verses associated with the birth of Jesus take the form of a lullaby, including "Lullay, my liking, my dere son, my sweting" and may be versions of contemporary lullabies. However, most of those used today date from the 17th century. The new ticket hall at London Bridge will open at the end of August 2016, as part of the station works are complete. We went to have a look at what's been happening, and what changes to expect. Note, from the end of August 2016: Cannon Street services will no longer stop at London Bridge (until the works are complete) Almost all Charing Cross services resume stopping at London Bridge with the exception of morning trains leaving Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 8.04am and 9.17am. In the evening trains going into Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 4.37pm and 6.03pm

(HD) Rush Hour at London Bridge 19/02/2015
Time - 16:30 to 18:20 The evening rush hour at London Bridge, a request made by someone and I visit London Bridge in the afternoon. Also, the previous morning stay featured only Southeastern trains so this time it features Southern trains only (aside from a pair of Thameslink 377s on two Thameslink services). Since hardly any Thameslink services are not included and not for a while, I will visit London Bridge again to feature them. (Do not worry!) Also due to delays and congestion outside the station, I had to miss the Eastbourne 442s which I found out later was 20 minutes late. 442401 and 442424 are featured working the 17:57 to Brighton and they make some noise with those ex-4-REP motors!

The construction of London Bridge began in 1176, during the reign of Henry II. The construction works took a long time and the costs were extremely high. It was completed in 1209, during the reign of King John Lackland. The resulting bridge was a unique architectural masterpiece at that time. The bridge was densely inhabited, with over a hundred houses and shops built on it; it was a separate district in Medieval London. The bridge measured about 8 m in width and 250-300 m in length. I recorded this to give a personal, time sensitive, perhaps even helpful to someone looking for a loved one from that night or a time frame of events for police purposes, this is news, the more we share our lives, the more we know. 2. we are not laughing about the events, we were joking that Justin tried so hard to hide this from me so we could have a nice dinner, but then it backfired, as the whole place was suddenly involved.
3. The 3 men involved in the stabbing where already in custody at this point but there was a possible device/bomb threat they where on the lookout for, which is why we where evacuated with a police escort taking us AWAY from the possible area under threat.
4. This is shot on a iPhone 7, and shot well because my husband, Justin, is a camera man back home, so yes, it looks great because that's literally what he does.
5. this is edited, as there are a lot of dead space and "umm, uhh" that don't need to be here.
6. We hugged the staff as we parted ways because they took care of us well and we felt protected by them.
7. the biker wasn't aware of the situation because he, well, was on a bike. he didn't have in headphones (to listen to the radio or news) and was unaware of the situation as it was very fresh, and in a small area.
8. I didn't hear the 20 people come rushing in scared because the restaurant was very packed, loud, music was playing, and I was just eating, minding my own business.
9. the police asked us not to have our phones out for obvious reasons. they light up and are a distraction. Police wanted our full attention.
Justin and I are on vacation in London when the attack took place. We recorded our experience. Thank you to the team at Nando's near the river and the London police force - everyone was very helpful and made a very scary situation less scary. Much love to all of London.

The evening rush hour at London Bridge, a request made by someone and I visit London Bridge in the afternoon. Also, the previous morning stay featured only Southeastern trains so this time it features Southern trains only (aside from a pair of Thameslink 377s on two Thameslink services).
Since hardly any Thameslink services are not included and not for a while, I will visit London Bridge again to feature them. (Do not worry!) Also due to delays and congestion outside the station, I had to miss the Eastbourne 442s which I found out later was 20 minutes late.
442401 and 442424 are featured working the 17:57 to Brighton and they make some noise with those ex-4-REP motors!

The construction of London Bridge began in 1176, during the reign of Henry II. The construction works took a long time and the costs were extremely high. It was completed in 1209, during the reign of King John Lackland. The resulting bridge was a unique architectural masterpiece at that time. The bridge was densely inhabited, with over a hundred houses and shops built on it; it was a separate district in Medieval London.
The bridge measured about 8 m in width and 250-300 m in length. In the centre, there was a 2 m wide road, which connected to two banks of the Thames. The pillars of the bridge were linked by spectacular arches. The foundations of the bridge heads were not on the shore, but in the riverbed. Gatehouses were built on the bridge heads and in the middle. On the two ends, there were wooden drawbridges. At the southern end of the bridge, the spiked heads of executed traitors offered an alarming sight. In the Tudor era, there were nearly 200 buildings on the bridge. Because of the increased traffic, the road was widened and divided into two lanes. Fire often hit the bridge, as the roofs were built of timber.
At the end of the 18th century, it became necessary to replace the almost 600-year-old bridge. The new, iron structure was opened in 1831. In the same year, the old bridge was demolished, today only a few of its elements are displayed in the parks of London.

So Hello from London! Time for a new destination. This is a city that I haven't visited in almost 4 years. So we're both very excited to be in London. And we're going to be making a little video guide. Actually a really big video guide because we plan on showing you 50 different things to do around London.
Our first stop was Trafalgar Square. This square leads to a lot of central attractions, so it's a nice place to people watch, get your bearings, and plan out where you want to go in the city.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames. It offers a bird's eye view of the city.
Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for Britain's sovereigns since 1837. The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every year.
The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament, is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Palace along with Big Ben are two of the top London attractions that dot the city-scape.
The Tower of London sits on the north bank of the River Thames.
And that's a wrap for London! Like with any mega city, it's impossible to cover all the sights and attractions you can enjoy here, but hopefully this video will give you an idea of what London has to offer.

What's Going On At London Bridge Station?
The new ticket hall at London Bridge will open at the end of August 2016, as part of the station works are complete. We went to have a look at what's been happening, and what changes to expect. Note, from the end of August 2016: Cannon Street services will no longer stop at London Bridge (until the works are complete) Almost all Charing Cross services resume stopping at London Bridge with the exception of morning trains leaving Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 8.04am and 9.17am. In the evening trains going into Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 4.37pm and 6.03pm

(HD) Rush Hour at London Bridge 19/02/2015
Time - 16:30 to 18:20 The evening rush hour at London Bridge, a request made by someone and I visit London Bridge in the afternoon. Also, the previous morning stay featured only Southeastern trains so this time it features Southern trains only (aside from a pair of Thameslink 377s on two Thameslink services). Since hardly any Thameslink services are not included and not for a while, I will visit London Bridge again to feature them. (Do not worry!) Also due to delays and congestion outside the station, I had to miss the Eastbourne 442s which I found out later was 20 minutes late. 442401 and 442424 are featured working the 17:57 to Brighton and they make some noise with those ex-4-REP motors!

The construction of London Bridge began in 1176, during the reign of Henry II. The construction works took a long time and the costs were extremely high. It was completed in 1209, during the reign of King John Lackland. The resulting bridge was a unique architectural masterpiece at that time. 4. This is shot on a iPhone 7, and shot well because my husband, Justin, is a camera man back home, so yes, it looks great because that's literally what he does.
5. this is edited, as there are a lot of dead space and "umm, uhh" that don't need to be here.
6. We hugged the staff as we parted ways because they took care of us well and we felt protected by them.
7. the biker wasn't aware of the situation because he, well, was on a bike. he didn't have in headphones (to listen to the radio or news) and was unaware of the situation as it was very fresh, and in a small area.
8. I didn't hear the 20 people come rushing in scared because the restaurant was very packed, loud, music was playing, and I was just eating, minding my own business.
9. the police asked us not to have our phones out for obvious reasons. they light up and are a distraction. Police wanted our full attention.
Justin and I are on vacation in London when the attack took place. We recorded our experience. Thank you to the team at Nando's near the river and the London police force - everyone was very helpful and made a very scary situation less scary. Much love to all of London.

The new ticket hall at London Bridge will open at the end of August 2016, as part of the station works are complete. We went to have a look at what's been happening, and what changes to expect.
Note, from the end of August 2016:
Cannon Street services will no longer stop at London Bridge (until the works are complete)
Almost all Charing Cross services resume stopping at London Bridge with the exception of morning trains leaving Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 8.04am and 9.17am. In the evening trains going into Charing Cross and Waterloo East will not stop at London Bridge between 4.37pm and 6.03pm

The evening rush hour at London Bridge, a request made by someone and I visit London Bridge in the afternoon. Also, the previous morning stay featured only Southeastern trains so this time it features Southern trains only (aside from a pair of Thameslink 377s on two Thameslink services).
Since hardly any Thameslink services are not included and not for a while, I will visit London Bridge again to feature them. (Do not worry!) Also due to delays and congestion outside the station, I had to miss the Eastbourne 442s which I found out later was 20 minutes late.
442401 and 442424 are featured working the 17:57 to Brighton and they make some noise with those ex-4-REP motors!

The construction of London Bridge began in 1176, during the reign of Henry II. The construction works took a long time and the costs were extremely high. It was completed in 1209, during the reign of King John Lackland. The resulting bridge was a unique architectural masterpiece at that time. The bridge was densely inhabited, with over a hundred houses and shops built on it; it was a separate district in Medieval London.
The bridge measured about 8 m in width and 250-300 m in length. In the centre, there was a 2 m wide road, which connected to two banks of the Thames. The pillars of the bridge were linked by spectacular arches. The foundations of the bridge heads were not on the shore, but in the riverbed. Gatehouses were built on the bridge heads and in the middle. On the two ends, there were wooden drawbridges. At the southern end of the bridge, the spiked heads of executed traitors offered an alarming sight. In the Tudor era, there were nearly 200 buildings on the bridge. Because of the increased traffic, the road was widened and divided into two lanes. Fire often hit the bridge, as the roofs were built of timber.
At the end of the 18th century, it became necessary to replace the almost 600-year-old bridge. The new, iron structure was opened in 1831. In the same year, the old bridge was demolished, today only a few of its elements are displayed in the parks of London.
