Forbes Magazine just released the 2012 list of their annual Celebrity 100 list, where stars are judged on 2 criteria: their level of fame and presence in the media, and how much they earned before taxes.
Topping the 2012 list is my personal favorite leading lady, Miss Jennifer Lopez.
She brought in $52 million dollars last year, stemming from her gig as a judge on American Idol, new movies, new music, endorsement deals, her clothing line, fragrance line, and more.
Coming in strong in the #2 spot is media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who added $165 million dollars to her bank account last year. Even though she signed off from her daytime talk show after 25 years, and her new cable network OWN has struggled in the ratings, Lady O is still going strong and is the highest earner on this year's list. She's still got O: The Oprah Winfrey Magazine, her spin offs like The Dr. Oz Show, and her radio deal with Sirius.
Spot #3 belongs to teenage powerhouse Justin Bieber who drew in $55 million dollars last year, after selling 12 million albums and captivating the hearts of his 21 million Twitter followers.
Rihanna comes in strong at #4 with $53 million dollars earned last year, and Lady Gaga rounds out the top 5, pulling in $52 million dollars.
Also on the list are stars like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, LeBron James, Simon Cowell, and more.
As for who's been on the list before but couldn't quite measure up this year? The Black Eyed Peas, James Cameron, Charlie Sheen, Usher, Robert Pattinson, and Jay Leno.

The publication listed Jay Z's wife at the top of its Celebrity 100 list, declaring the Grammy winner is currently the most powerful A-Lister around. Forbes explained the pick, noting that her mega Mrs. Carter Show World Tour brought in about $2.4 million for each of the 95 shows, and that her surprise, self-titled fifth studio album broke sales records on iTunes after no promotion.

Also noteworthy are Bey's endorsement deals with major companies like H&M; and Pepsi, her fragrance lines, and her clothing company House of Dereon. The magazine went on to estimate that the superstar earned $115 million in the last year—and that's before sales from On the Run tour with Jay Z were tallied.
Bey bumped mogul Oprah Winfrey from the the top spot, which she held in 2013. Now the leader of a TV and magazine empire holds the fourth spot on the list, earning an estimated $82 million in the past year.

Basketball pro LeBron James holds the number two spot, rapper and headphone aficionado Dr. Dre is in number 3, Ellen DeGeneres nabbed number 5, Jay Z came in at number 6, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was number 7, Rihanna landed the number 8 spot, pop princess Katy Perry was number 9, and Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr. rounded out the top 10. Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969) is an American actress, businesswoman, dancer and recording artist. Often referred to as J.Lo, she is reportedly the highest earning actress of Latin descent. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, she enrolled in singing and dancing classes as a child and grew up in a musically influenced household. She started her career as a fly girl on the television comedy program In Living Color and a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson. Lopez gained recognition in the action-thriller Money Train (1995). Her first leading role was in the biographical film Selena (1997), which was her breakthrough role, earning her an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress and Golden Globe nomination. She earned her second ALMA Award for her performance in Out of Sight (1998), which made her the highest-paid Latin actress. She has since appeared in various films including The Cell (2000), The Wedding Planner (2001), Maid in Manhattan (2002), Shall We Dance? (2004), Monster-in-Law (2005), The Back-up Plan (2010) and What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012).

Justin Drew Bieber (
/ˈbiːbər/ BEE-bər, born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian Pop/R&B singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun, who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid. Bieber's debut single, "One Time", was released in 2009 and peaked in the top twenty in Canada and charted in the top thirty in several international markets. His debut album, the seven-track EP My World, followed in November 2009, and was soon certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Forbes Magazine just released the 2012 list of their annual Celebrity 100 list, where stars are judged on 2 criteria: their level of fame and presence in the media, and how much they earned before taxes.
Topping the 2012 list is my personal favorite leading lady, Miss Jennifer Lopez.
She brought in $52 million dollars last year, stemming from her gig as a judge on American Idol, new movies, new music, endorsement deals, her clothing line, fragrance line, and more.
Coming in strong in the #2 spot is media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who added $165 million dollars to her bank account last year. Even though she signed off from her daytime talk show after 25 years, and her new cable network OWN has struggled in the ratings, Lady O is still going strong and is the highest earner on this year's list. She's still got O: The Oprah Winfrey Magazine, her spin offs like The Dr. Oz Show, and her radio deal with Sirius.
Spot #3 belongs to teenage powerhouse Justin Bieber who drew in $55 million dollars last year, after selling 12 million albums and captivating the hearts of his 21 million Twitter followers.
Rihanna comes in strong at #4 with $53 million dollars earned last year, and Lady Gaga rounds out the top 5, pulling in $52 million dollars.
Also on the list are stars like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, LeBron James, Simon Cowell, and more.
As for who's been on the list before but couldn't quite measure up this year? The Black Eyed Peas, James Cameron, Charlie Sheen, Usher, Robert Pattinson, and Jay Leno.

Bey bumped mogul Oprah Winfrey from the the top spot, which she held in 2013. Now the leader of a TV and magazine empire holds the fourth spot on the list, earning an estimated $82 million in the past year.

The Rosetta probe will be crash-landed on Comet 67P on Friday 30 September, the European Space Agency has confirmed. The manoeuvre, which is expected to destroy the satellite, will bring to an end two years of investigations at the 4km-wide icy dirt-ball.
