Vastrapur is an area in Ahmedabad district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is located in this area. This area is famous for the Vastrapur Lake.
It is the most posh area of the Ahmedabad city. It is famous for various shopping malls, lake, garden, hospital and bungalows. Many rich people including top government officers are staying here.
It is said to be one of the fastest growing areas in the city of Ahmedabad. It is located beside the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, an area famous for its line of restaurants and shopping malls. The futuristic electric cremeation house is located in this area. Other landmarks of this area are the gurudwara and the nehru foundation / Center for environment education.
Sandesh, a newspaper published in the local language - Gujarati, has its head office in this area.
Bodakdev, an area adjoining Vastrapur is turning out to be a posh area with high real estate market value. It also houses the elite High Court Judges of Gujarat State.

200115 48 AMD FOX AVBB HAWA જંગલી પ્રાણી ગણાતું શિયાળ સામાન્ય રીતે જંગલમાં જોવા મળતું હોય છે.... પણ આ જંગલી પ્રાણી અચાનક જ રહેણાક વિસ્તારના ભોયરામાં દેખાતા લોકોમાં કુતુહલ જોવા મળ્યુ હતુ.... અમદાવાદના વસ્ત્રાપુર વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા સોહમ ટાવર પાસે અચાનક જ શિયાળ દેખાતા સ્થાનિક લોકો અચંબામાં મુકાઇ ગયા હતા.... જેની જાણ વન વિભાગના અધિકારીઓને કરાતા તાત્કાલીક તેમની ટીમ ઘટના સ્થળે આવી પહોંચી હતી... અને ગણતરીની મીનીટોમાં શિયાળને રેસ્ક્યુ કરી પકડી લીધુ હતુ.... તો બીજી તરફ તેને કોઈ ઈજા પહોંચી છે કે કેમ તે અંગેની તકેદારીને ભાગ રૂપે ડોક્ટરની ટીમ પણ સાથે જોવા મળી હતી... શિયાળને વન વિભાગે ચકાસણી કર્યા બાદ જંગલમાં છોડી મુકવામાં આવશે.... ત્યારે અહીં સવાલ એ ઉભો થા -

Vastrapur Lake is situated in western part of Ahmedabad. It is officially named after Narsinh Mehta. The lake was beautified by the AMC after 2002 and has since become a popular spot in the city. Every weekend, a large number of people visit this lake. It currently boasts an open air theater and children's park. There is a pathway all around the lake which serves many walkers and joggers in the early mornings and in the evenings. The lush green lawns surrounding this lake also serve as a central hub of Ahmedabad, wherein various cultural events take place regularly. At times, the water from Narmada River is allowed to flow into this lake. -

જંગલી પ્રાણી ગણાતું શિયાળ સામાન્ય રીતે જંગલમાં જોવા મળતું હોય છે.... પણ આ જંગલી પ્રાણી અચાનક જ રહેણાક વિસ્તારના ભોયરામાં દેખાતા લોકોમાં કુતુહલ જોવા મળ્યુ હતુ.... અમદાવાદના વસ્ત્રાપુર વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા સોહમ ટાવર પાસે અચાનક જ શિયાળ દેખાતા સ્થાનિક લોકો અચંબામાં મુકાઇ ગયા હતા.... જેની જાણ વન વિભાગના અધિકારીઓને કરાતા તાત્કાલીક તેમની ટીમ ઘટના સ્થળે આવી પહોંચી હતી... અને ગણતરીની મીનીટોમાં શિયાળને રેસ્ક્યુ કરી પકડી લીધુ હતુ.... તો બીજી તરફ તેને કોઈ ઈજા પહોંચી છે કે કેમ તે અંગેની તકેદારીને ભાગ રૂપે ડોક્ટરની ટીમ પણ સાથે જોવા મળી હતી... શિયાળને વન વિભાગે ચકાસણી કર્યા બાદ જંગલમાં છોડી મુકવામાં આવશે.... ત્યારે અહીં સવાલ એ ઉભો થાય છે,કે રહેણાંક વિસ્તારમાં શિયાળ આવ્યુ ક્યાંથી.....

Vastrapur Lake is situated in western part of Ahmedabad. It is officially named after Narsinh Mehta. The lake was beautified by the AMC after 2002 and has since become a popular spot in the city.
Every weekend, a large number of people visit this lake. It currently boasts an open air theater and children's park. There is a pathway all around the lake which serves many walkers and joggers in the early mornings and in the evenings.
The lush green lawns surrounding this lake also serve as a central hub of Ahmedabad, wherein various cultural events take place regularly.
At times, the water from Narmada River is allowed to flow into this lake. The lake is surrounded by pretty gardens with much stonework.

200115 48 AMD FOX AVBB HAWA જંગલી પ્રાણી ગણાતું શિયાળ સામાન્ય રીતે જંગલમાં જોવા મળતું હોય છે.... પણ આ જંગલી પ્રાણી અચાનક જ રહેણાક વિસ્તારના ભોયરામાં દેખાતા લોકોમાં કુતુહલ જોવા મળ્યુ હતુ.... અમદાવાદના વસ્ત્રાપુર વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા સોહમ ટાવર પાસે અચાનક જ શિયાળ દેખાતા સ્થાનિક લોકો અચંબામાં મુકાઇ ગયા હતા.... જેની જાણ વન વિભાગના અધિકારીઓને કરાતા તાત્કાલીક તેમની ટીમ ઘટના સ્થળે આવી પહોંચી હતી... અને ગણતરીની મીનીટોમાં શિયાળને રેસ્ક્યુ કરી પકડી લીધુ હતુ.... તો બીજી તરફ તેને કોઈ ઈજા પહોંચી છે કે કેમ તે અંગેની તકેદારીને ભાગ રૂપે ડોક્ટરની ટીમ પણ સાથે જોવા મળી હતી... શિયાળને વન વિભાગે ચકાસણી કર્યા બાદ જંગલમાં છોડી મુકવામાં આવશે.... ત્યારે અહીં સવાલ એ ઉભો થાય છે,કે રહેણાંક વિસ્તારમાં શિયાળ આવ્યુ ક્યાંથી.....- published: 20 Jan 2015
