Mulubha belongs to the royal family of Raj Nagar. He cheats the daughter of a landlord from Ram Gadh, gets her pregnant and later refuses to marry her. Unable to face the shame, the girl commits suicide. This results in a fued. The girl's father loses his life and her brother cuts Mulubha's leg. It all ends up with the panchayats of Ram Gadh and Raj Nagar breaking all their relations.
Years later, Mulubha's niece, Phul Kunwar and the dead girl's youngest brother, Kishan fall in love with each other. When Mulubha finds out about the affair, Phul Kuwar's marriage is fixed with another man. Kevi Rite Jaish is a wonderful movie about the fascination of the Patels (A Gujarati community) of migrating to the United States of America. The story revolves around one such Patel family who wants to migrate to the USA. Bachu (Kenneth Desai) and Ishwar (Anang Desai) are close friends. Both dream of going to the USA together illegally. One day Bachu receives a telephone call from Ishwar. Ishwar tells him that he has managed to reach the USA. Bachu feels betrayed by his friend. Years later, Bachu wants to now realize his dream through his son Harish. Harish applies for visa, but is rejected due to his inability to give satisfactory answers to the visa officer Derek Thomas (Tom Alter). Meanwhile Ishwar who has now established a successful Motel business in the USA returns to India with his beautiful daughter Aayushi (Veronica Kalpana Gautam). Bachu still resents his old friend, but Harish falls in love with Aayushi. Will Bachu ever accept this relationship? Will Harish be able to realise his dream of going to the USA? The film was nominated for all eight categories at the 2012 BIG Gujarati Entertainment Awards and won seven of them.

'Lankani Ladi Ne Ghoghano Var' is a story about Lankapati Raja Ravan, who has been blessed with power by Lord Bholenath. This power has made Lankapti Raja Ravan arrogant and after watching this Lord Bholenath sends Rishi Muni to make him alert about his arrogance. Rishi Muni teaches him a lesson, by saying that he has everything to be happy in life, but there is one thing that he is not lucky about i.e. 'Kanyadaan'. Listening to this Raja Ravan prays to Lord Bholenath of having a girl child and he blesses him with a girl child. Raja Ravan's pride has augmented now after the birth of his girl child named Tara and asks Maa Vidhatri about his daughter's fate, but after watching his pride Maa Vidhatri curses Raja Ravan that his daughter will marry a 'Shudra Putra'. During the feast, where Raja Ravan treats all the Brahmins he finds a Shudra Putra, Bhima sitting among the Brahmins and gets livid and asks the senapati's to kill him. But Bhima is saved and is destined to live as Kumar Bhima, son of Maharaj Vijay Singh. Tara requests her father to let her go for a Yatra and there she has been attacked by the dacoits, this is when Kumar Bhima reaches to save her. But Tara and Kumar Bhima are seized by the dacoits. According to the dacoits rituals they get the two married before killing them. Is the curse given to Raja Ravan come true? Will Raja Ravan agree to this marriage?

Gujarati cinema
Gujarati cinema or Gujarati film industry, informally referred as Dhollywood or Gollywood, is one of the major regional and vernacular film industry of Cinema of India associated with Gujarati language. The industry dates back to 7 April 1932, when the first Gujarati film Narsinh Mehta was released. After flourishing through the 1960s to 1980s, the industry saw a decline. The industry is revived in recent times. The film industry has produced more than one thousand films since its inception. The Government of Gujarat announced 100% entertainment tax exemption for Gujarati films in 2005 and policy of incentives in 2016.
Etymology
Bollywood, the sobriquet for the Hindi language film industry based in Mumbai, inspired the sobriquet Dhollywood for Gujarati film industry due to profuse use of Dhol, a purcussion drum. It is also referred Gollywood, a portmanteau derived from Gujarat and Bollywood.
History
Silent films era (1913–1931)
There were several silent films which were closely related with Gujarati people and culture before advent of talkies. Many film directors, producers and actors who are associated with silent films were Gujarati and Parsi. There were twenty leading film company and studios owned by Gujaratis between 1913 and 1931. They were mostly located in Bombay (now Mumbai). There were at least forty-four leading Gujarati directors during this period.

Raja Bundela
Raja Bundela (Raja Rajeshwar Pratap Singh Judev) is an Indian actor, producer, politician and civil activist.
Personal life
Raja Rajeshwar Pratap Singh Judev, formerly known as Raja Bundela was born in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. Raja Bundela was born to one of the Royal houses of the Lalitpur district. He is married to Sushmita Mukherjee, Rani. Sushmita, later and has three children.
Bundela is president of Bundelkhand Mukti Morcha which is campaigning for the creation of a separate Bundelkhand state comprising 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
In the Lok Sabha elections 2004, Bundela stood on an Indian National Congress ticket in Jhansi, the putative capital of Bundelkhand. He won 104 584 votes (12.76%)

Savitri is a devotee of Goddess Durga and a staunch believer in the Hindu festival of Navratri. She lives with her father Thakur Prithvi Singh and a cruel sister in law, Lalita. Savitri falls in love with a simpleton named Ajay and they both get married. But due to Lalita's constant misdoings, they are forced to leave their home. Distraught, Savitri's father falls ill and eventually is paralyzed. Happiness enters their troubled lives with the birth of Savitri's baby boy, Kumar. Their happiness comes to a tragic halt when Kumar is poisoned during the Navratri festival. Savitri's belief and dedication towards Goddess Durga is infinite and she takes an oath to observe a fast till Kumar opens his eye. Can her belief overpower her death? Can she bring her son back to life by Gods grace?
