Thomas H. Ince (November 16, 1880 – November 19, 1924) was an American silent film producer, director, screenwriter, and actor. Ince was known as the "Father of the Western" and was responsible for making over 800 films. He revolutionized the motion picture industry by creating the first major Hollywood studio facility and invented movie production by introducing the "assembly line" system of filmmaking. He was the first mogul to build his own film studio dubbed "Inceville" in Palisades Highlands. Ince was also instrumental in developing the role of the producer in motion pictures. Two of his fims, The Italian (1915), for which he wrote the screenplay, and Civilization (1916), which he directed, were selected for preservation by the National Film Registry. He later partnered with D.W. Griffith and Mack Sennett to form the Triangle Motion Picture Company whose studios are the present-day site of Sony Pictures. He then built a new studio about a mile from Triangle which is now the site of Culver Studios. Ince's untimely death at the height of his career after he became severely ill aboard the private yacht of media tycoon William Randolph Hearst has caused much speculation, although the official cause of his death was heart failure.

William Randolph (bapt. 7 November 1650 – 11 April 1711) was a colonist and land owner who played an important role in the history and government of the English colony of Virginia. He moved to Virginia sometime between 1669 and 1673, and married Mary Isham (ca. 1659 – 29 December 1735) a few years later. His descendants include many prominent individuals including Thomas Jefferson, John Marshall, Paschal Beverly Randolph, Robert E. Lee,Peyton Randolph, Edmund Randolph, John Randolph of Roanoke, George W. Randolph, and Edmund Ruffin. Genealogists have taken an interest in him for his progeny's many marital alliances, referring to him and Mary Isham as "the Adam and Eve of Virginia".
William Randolph was baptized in Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire, England on 7 November 1650, the son of Richard Randolph (21 February 1621 – 2 May 1678) and Elizabeth Ryland (1625–ca. 1669). Richard Randolph was originally from Houghton Parva, a small village east of Northampton, where his father was a "steward and servant" to Edward la Zouche, 11th Baron Zouche (1556–1625), having previously served in that same capacity to Sir George Goring, a landowner in Sussex. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Ryland of Warwick. William was the second of seven Randolph children, all born in Moreton Morrell between 1647 and 1657.

"Civilization", 1916, produced and co-directed by Thomas H. Ince, is a 1916 American pacifist allegorical film about a submarine commander who refuses to fire at a civilian ocean liner supposedly carrying ammunition for his country's enemies. The film was a big-budget spectacle that was compared to both Birth of a Nation and the paintings of Jean-François Millet. The film was a popular success and was credited by the Democratic National Committee with helping to re-elect Woodrow Wilson as the U.S. President in 1916. The film was also the first to depict Jesus Christ as a character in a motion picture, leading some to criticize the depiction as in "poor taste." The film opens with the outbreak of a war in the previously peaceful kingdom of Wredpryd. Count Ferdinand is the inventor of a ...
Thomas Harper Ince (November 6, 1882 -- November 19, 1924) was an American silent film actor, director, screenwriter and producer of more than 100 films and pioneering studio mogul. One of his most important and famous pictures as a director was "Civilization" (1916) an epic plea for peace and American neutrality set in a mythical country and dedicated to the mothers of those who died in World War I. The film competed with Griffith's famous epic Intolerance and beat it at the box office at the time. The picture was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". Shot in 1915, it was released in April 1916. Even before the public saw it, Ince arranged a viewing by President Wilson and his...
It is 15 November 1924, and among those boarding the luxury yacht Oneida in San Pedro, California are its owner, publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst, and his mistress, silent film star Marion Davies; Thomas H. Ince, whose birthday is the reason for the weekend cruise, and his mistress, starlet Margaret Livingston; Charlie Chaplin; English writer Elinor Glyn; and Louella Parsons, the film critic for Hearst's New York American. Elinor Glyn provides the narration: "In November 1924, during a weekend yacht party bound for San Diego, a mysterious death occurred within the Hollywood community. However there was no coverage in the press, no police action, and of the fourteen passengers on board only one was ever questioned by authorities. Little evidence exists now or existed at the time t...
This is a good short dramatic feature, highlighted by a nice dual role for Mary Pickford. The story allows her a chance to show her versatility in playing different kinds of material, and this was likely the kind of performance that eventually earned her the more prominent roles that brought her to stardom. A couple of notes place our understanding of this film in a different light. This was probably Thomas Ince's second film for IMP (Independent Motion Pictures), after Little Nell's Tobacco. As a new director just come from theater, it is unfortunate to expect the same ability to be displayed by him as that of Griffith, who had been making one reelers for more than two years and had largely redefined the form. Also, Mary Pickford, herself has traditionally been credited as scenarist for ...

“The Italian”, 1915, is an amazingly well done silent movie. Thomas Ince always had a knack for bringing simple homespun stories to life with fullness and flair. "The Italian" is such a film. Solid acting, particularly by George Beban, father of silent child actor George Beban, Jr., and wonderful sets convey a realistic feeling of early immigrant tenements in New York. These give this 1915 film an authenticity which is unusual in features of this vintage. “THE ITALIAN is an astonishingly accomplished film for its time. Stunningly shot, with lighting effects that are truly sublime, this is an early gem that clearly reveals REGINALD BARKER to be a pioneer director of equal standing to D.W. GRIFFITH and MAURICE TOURNEUR. How much control Thomas Ince exerted over the production is hard to kno...
“The Drummer of the 8th”, 1913, is a great classic silent film directed by Thomas Ince. It is an effective Civil War drama with a simple but thoughtful story, enhanced by Ince's ability to set a scene. He has been praised for his skill at composition, and indeed many scenes are notable for their efficient framing, while other scenes (not necessarily at crucial moments) are very pleasing aesthetically. The story follows a boy who, eager to follow his brother as he goes to war, sneaks away and enlists as a drummer boy. He is taken prisoner, and the tension reaches a peak when he tries to escape, knowing of the Confederate commander's battle plan. The story and its conclusion are by no means predictable, and while Ince's style avoids heavy emotion, the story leaves a definite impression of ...

I always thought this would make a nice quick video, especially after watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tqDvYoIZD0 I took scenes from two movies: The first is the HBO original RKO 281 (1999, directed by Benjamin Ross), the true story about the making of Citizen Kane. The second is The Cats Meow (2001, directed by Peter Bogdanovich), a semi-true story about a Hollywood murder aboard William Randolph Hearsts yacht. (I highly recommend both movies.) In this scene, Mank (John Malkovich) takes one last stab at convincing his best friend Orson (Liev Schrieber) not to make a movie attacking Hearst. So he tells an old story about Hearst and his possible involvement in the death of Hollywood mogul Thomas H. Ince. Orson Welles: Liev Schrieber Herman Mankiewicz: John Malkovich Wi...

Moving to New York City, he acquired The New York Journal and engaged in a bitter circulation war with Joseph Pulitzer's New York World that led to the creation of yellow journalism—sensationalized stories of dubious veracity. Acquiring more newspapers, Hearst created a chai...

[Verse 1:]
I know it been a long time
Since we both felt the heat
But tonight will be burnin' and tossin' the sheets
No we won't speak not even a peep
First you toot then I beep
Then I pull up to yo cheeks
You are so sweet
Sexy, unique
Nice and petite
Yeah that's just right for me
Your company is all that I need
Forget about the world girl
Its just you and me
Pure ecstasy is where we will be
Once I achieve my goal and I climax the g
Here are the keys
They go to my heart
I just hope you don't tease me and tear it apart
[Chorus:]
Hush be quiet
You don't have to say a word
Kissin' and huggin lady
You don't have to say a word
I want to get sexual with you
You don't have to say a word
Your body is talkin' to me
You don't have to say a word
[Verse 2:]

Going going non stop 3%7^& ooh drop

But she really love it when I'm on the top
Sometimes I go ???? make a ????
All between the sheets
It's really nothing but ah skeet skeet
She coverin' ha face wit' the pillow
Screamin' like she see thriller
