Plot: A young priest arrives in his first assignment to a small parish serving a working-class village in the north of Spain in 1936. He is a witness of the military uprising that precipitates the Spanish Civil War and, moved by his faith, he stands up to defend his people. From the beginning of the war, the village where the young protagonist arrives remains within the area of the Francoist military insubordinates. It soon becomes a top target of repression for being considered as a "red village". Based on a real story, the film portrays how the young priest commits himself to stand by his parishioners and how he denounces from the pulpit and before the Catholic Hierarchy the atrocities being committed on behalf of the Gospel (written of as a Holy Crusade) to the extent that he will risk his own life in the name of Christ. The loneliness haunting him brings Miguel close to Margari, a young schoolteacher, whose husband was killed by the fascists. Margari becomes the only shelter in the path of Miguel's helpless fight, as well as the only aid to offset his deep disappointment.

Plot: Three innocent Argentinean filmmakers decide to film a short-film, never suspecting what the short-film had prepared for them. Tuco, the director, along side with his two loyal companions: Stella, an exuberant D.P. and Juan an eccentric producer plan to film with what they consider 150 meters of "outstanding quality of film negative" a short film of a rather surreal theme, however disagreement and unpredictability from actors Pedro and Hugo makes it a not so easy task. Plot: For svært mange var de glade 20-årene ikke særlig lystige, med arbeidsløshet, fattigdom og en bitter desillusjonert ungdom. Men det var samtidig forbudstidens Norge, med storstilt spritsmugling og de såre lett-tjente summer. Ernst, arbeidsløs arkitekt, kommer ved et tilfelle inn på smuglerbanen, og bytter en grå, trøstesløs tilværelse med en frodig, frekk og fargerik verden. Klara, piken han elsker, går fra ham, og Jenny blir hans greie venninne. Sammen med vennen Hugo og Elsa, foretar disse fire en rekke smuglertokter pr. bil - med stor fortjeneste - men ikke nok. Istedet investerer Ernst i båter, og nå blir det virkelig fres i smuglingen. Han opererer langs hele Oslofjorden og helt ned til Rotterdam, stadig forfulgt av politi og tollere, med sine beryktede torpedobåter. Vi følger Ernst helt til det såkalte Bygdøyslaget, hvor smuglere, politi og lettere braker sammen i et brutalt sammenstøt.
