Saba links with Smino and Legit on "World In My Hands."
We properly introduced you to Chicago's Saba in March with our sit-down with the artist, that delved into his deeply musical past, his production and more. We actually haven't heard from him much since we launched our interview, but he's back today with a collaboration that features Smino and LEGIT, as well as co-production from Saba himself.
It's a typically smooth release from Saba, featuring an arrangement of closed hi-hats and snare drums, as well as distant organ keys. Saba is working on a new project, and he's apparently eyeing a Fall release, so stay tuned for more leaks along the way.

Saba
Saba (/ˈsɑːbə/) is a Caribbean island and the smallest special municipality (officially public body) of the Netherlands. It consists largely of the potentially active volcano Mount Scenery, at 887 metres (2,910 ft) the highest point of the entire Netherlands.
Saba has a land area of 13 square kilometres (5.0 sq mi). As of January 2013, the population was 1,991 inhabitants, with a population density of 150 inhabitants per square kilometre (390/sq mi). Its towns and major settlements are The Bottom (the capital), Windwardside, Hell's Gate and St. Johns.
Etymology
The origin of the name "Saba" is often believed to be derived from the Arawak Indian word for "rock," which was "siba."
History
Christopher Columbus is said to have sighted the island on 13 November 1493. He did not land, being deterred by the island's perilous rocky shores. In 1632, a group of shipwrecked Englishmen landed upon Saba. They stated they found the island uninhabited when they were rescued. There has been clear evidence found indicating that Caribs and Arawak Indians have been on the island.

Saba - World In My Hands Feat. Smino & LEGIT [New Song]
Saba links with Smino and Legit on "World In My Hands." We properly introduced you to Chicago's Saba in March with our sit-down with the artist, that delved into his deeply musical past, his production and more. We actually haven't heard from him much since we launched our interview, but he's back today with a collaboration that features Smino and LEGIT, as well as co-production from Saba himself. It's a typically smooth release from Saba, featuring an arrangement of closed hi-hats and snare drums, as well as distant organ keys. Saba is working on a new project, and he's apparently eyeing a Fall release, so stay tuned for more leaks along the way.

Saba links with Smino and Legit on "World In My Hands."
We properly introduced you to Chicago's Saba in March with our sit-down with the artist, that delved into his deeply musical past, his production and more. We actually haven't heard from him much since we launched our interview, but he's back today with a collaboration that features Smino and LEGIT, as well as co-production from Saba himself.
It's a typically smooth release from Saba, featuring an arrangement of closed hi-hats and snare drums, as well as distant organ keys. Saba is working on a new project, and he's apparently eyeing a Fall release, so stay tuned for more leaks along the way.

Ladder Bay is an anchorage on the leeward side of Saba Island. It sits directly under the 800 steps to the old Customs House perched precariously on the lip of a cliff overlooking the bay and is locally known as The Ladder. Prior to the opening of the road down to Fort Bay, this was the primary point of entry for supplies to the island. Saba has a land area of 13 square kilometers (5.0 sq mi). As of January 2013, the population was 1,991 inhabitants, with a population density of 150 inhabitants per square kilometre (390/sq mi).[1] Its towns and major settlements are The Bottom (the capital), Windwardside, Hell's Gate and St. Johns.
AIRPORT: In 1963, Saba residents built the Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport. This 400-metre (1,300 ft) landing strip is reputed to be the shortest commercial runway in the world, and is restricted. Only trained pilots flying small STOL airliners, such as the Twin Otter and the Britten-Norman Islander may land there, as well as helicopters. Consistent air service from Sint Maarten and Sint Eustatius is available through Winair.

The large ballroom was known as Singer Hall because within it contests were held that featured wandering minstrels, and Dawit played the harp. Today, the lion cages are empty but Hailie Selassie, the last emperor of Ethiopia, possessed one as a symbol of his origin as having been from the Tribe of Judah. Without a doubt, Gondar will forever evoke a special kind of nostalgia and a rich sense of history.

The Republic Of Yemen: there is almost no other country on Earth that possesses as many secrets and ancient legends as the Arabia Felix and the Bab Al Yemen, the gateway to the Yemen, is the entrance to the historic district of Sanaa, the Yemen’s capital city that it is believed to date back to the third century A.D. Women are rarely to be seen in Yemen’s marketplaces and, when they are, they are hidden from male glances by a protective veil. Islam still plays an important role in the daily cultural life of the people, including the traditional market places that are almost exclusively a male domain. The Republic Of Yemen covers a large part of the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula and contains several fascinating historical sites. East of Sanaa on the ancient Frankincense route, is the town of Marib that was once the residence of the legendary Queen Of Saba and in the extreme north is the town of Sadah, a region known for its powerful tribes. In the centre of the Djebel Harraz is the picturesque mountain village of Manakhah. Due to its location it was once a strategic point on the ancient trading route between the sea and the highlands. The breathtaking architecture of its buildings still testifies to the former prosperity of a village that today is well known for its popular market. Al Hudaydah was once the most important Turkish harbour on the Red Sea. The city was a commercial rival of the British occupied city of Aden to the south which, during colonial times, was of great importance in securing a sea route to India. In addition to the recent modernisation of the harbour the fishing industry still plays an important role and the fertile coastal waters of the Red Sea still ensure a good catch. To the south of Al Hudaydah is the legendary old harbour of Al Mokha, the former centre of the country’s coffee trade from which the world renowned Mocha coffee derived its name. Despite their present poverty the people here are a proud race and the ancient name of the Yemen, Arabia Felix, or “Arabia The Content”, is still a thing of the present.

Ladder Bay is an anchorage on the leeward side of Saba Island. It sits directly under the 800 steps to the old Customs House perched precariously on the lip of a cliff overlooking the bay and is locally known as The Ladder. Prior to the opening of the road down to Fort Bay, this was the primary point of entry for supplies to the island.

Saba is a Caribbean island and the smallest special municipality (officially public body) of the Netherlands.[4] It consists largely of the potentially active volcano Mount Scenery. Saba has a land area of 13 square kilometers (5.0 sq mi). As of January 2013, the population was 1,991 inhabitants, with a population density of 150 inhabitants per square kilometre (390/sq mi).[1] Its towns and major settlements are The Bottom (the capital), Windwardside, Hell's Gate and St. Johns.
AIRPORT: In 1963, Saba residents built the Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport. This 400-metre (1,300 ft) landing strip is reputed to be the shortest commercial runway in the world, and is restricted. Only trained pilots flying small STOL airliners, such as the Twin Otter and the Britten-Norman Islander may land there, as well as helicopters. Consistent air service from Sint Maarten and Sint Eustatius is available through Winair.
