Good morning may refer to:
Good Morning Ulster is a flagship Northern Irish radio news programme broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster.
The programme is presented by Karen Patterson, Conor Bradford Noel Thompson and Mark Carruthers, airing each weekday between 6:30am & 9am. The Nolan Show comes after it.
Ulster (/ˈʌlstər/; Irish: Ulaidh pronounced [ˈul̪ˠəi] or Cúige Uladh pronounced [ˈkuːɟə ˈul̪ˠə], Ulster Scots: Ulstèr or Ulster) is a province in the north of the island of Ireland. In ancient Ireland, it was one of the fifths (Irish: cúige) ruled by a rí ruirech, or "king of over-kings".
The definition of the province was fluid from early to medieval times. It took a definitive shape in the reign of King James I of England when all the counties of Ireland were eventually shired. This process of evolving conquest had been under way since the Norman invasion of Ireland, particularly as advanced by the Cambro-Norman magnates Hugh de Lacy and John de Courcy. Ulster was a central topic role in the parliamentary debates that eventually resulted in the Government of Ireland Act 1920. Under the terms of the Act, Ireland was divided into two territories, Southern Ireland and Northern Ireland, with the border passing through the province. "Southern Ireland" was to be all of Ireland except for "the parliamentary counties of Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Londonderry and Tyrone, and the parliamentary boroughs of Belfast and Londonderry [the city of Derry]" which were to constitute "Northern Ireland". The area of Northern Ireland was seen as the maximum area within which Ulster Protestants/unionists could be expected to have a safe majority, despite counties Fermanagh and Tyrone having slight Roman Catholic/Irish nationalist majorities. While these six counties and two parliamentary boroughs were all in the province of Ulster, three other counties of the province – Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan – were assigned to the Irish Free State.
Morning is the period of time between midnight and noon or, more commonly, the interval between sunrise and noon. Morning precedes afternoon, evening, and night in the sequence of a day. Originally, the term referred to sunrise.
The name (which comes from the Middle English word morwening) was formed from the analogy of evening using the word "morn" (in Middle English morwen), and originally meant the coming of the sunrise as evening meant the beginning of the close of the day. The Middle English morwen dropped over time and became morwe, then eventually morrow, which properly means "morning", but was soon used to refer to the following day (i.e., "tomorrow"), as in other Germanic languages—English is unique in restricting the word to the newer usage. The Spanish word "mañana" has two meanings in English: "morning," and "tomorrow," along with the word "morgen" in Dutch and German which also means both "morning," and "tomorrow." Max Weber, (General Economic History, pp23) states that the English word "morning" and the German word "Morgen" both signify the size of land strip "which an ox could plow in a day without giving out". "Tagwerk" in German, and "a day's work" in English mean the same. A Good morning in this sense might mean a good day's plow.

Paul McErlean said that there's nothing new about this Big Society because it is already happening here but if Mr. Hurd is bringing to the table the finding of funding for really worthwhile projects and getting those delivered on the ground and apply it to Northern Ireland and not just GB then he thinks that something very worthwhile will happen today. Mr. White said that he's a little bit worried about the idea because giving the fact that state houses are centralised it has become too big, too bureaucratic and too distant to support it deters people from playing their role within public life.

New peace gate to bridge the gap between communities in Alexandra Park A major development was unveiled on the peace wall in Alexandra Park on Friday 16th September at 10.30am by Minister for Justice David Ford and members of the Alexandra Park Steering Group officially opened a peace gate that had been installed in the wall to allow local residents access to both parts of the park. The peace wall was erected in 1994, dividing the park in two, in order to mitigate the frequent sectarian rioting between the communities of Newington (Nationalist) and Tigers Bay (Loyalist) in North Belfast. For the local residents of North Belfast the peace line that runs through Alexandra Park has been a constant feature in their daily lives. The iconic Victorian public park situated in North Bel...

I was called after my recent BBC Radio 2 interview by BBC Radio Scotland, asking me to appear on Call Kaye this morning. The show is run by well-known Scottish broadcaster Kaye Adams, and I was informed I'd be debating with a feminist, and I'd be told in advance the identity of the feminist. A flavour of the tone of the programme became apparent even before I was contacted to contribute. Ms Adams said at the start of the programme: 'Do we need a party fighting for justice for men and boys? I've got a clenched fist as I'm reading that line.' Can you imagine the uproar which would result if a well-known male broadcaster on a popular radio show said the following? 'Do we need a party fighting for justice for women and girls? I've got a clenched fist as I'm reading that line.' So I was...

I apologize for my crappy English. I decided to discontinue the English version of Awakening_2011. But then I listened to the Red Ice Radio interview of Jordan Maxwell by Henrik Palmgren, and I changed my mind. I included that specific bit for everyone's benefit. I did so without permission, in fair use, as there is no economic profit at all. I encourage you to check the whole interview yourself. May this be a useful summary (of Humanity's current challenges) for those patient enough to listen to it. Peace and Blessings.
Thousands of racing greyhounds 'vanish' each year Campaigners say that thousands of dog disappear after they retire from racing Continue reading the main story Related Stories New homes for retired greyhounds Greyhound campaign is 'a success' A BBC investigation has uncovered huge gaps in how greyhound racing is regulated in Northern Ireland. This has led to problems with over-breeding and retired dogs disappearing. Greyhounds can live to 12 but most retire by five, leading animal welfare campaigners to suggest thousands of dogs are vanishing every year. No single government department has responsibility for monitoring greyhound racing but the Department of Social Development regulates betting. Racing greyhounds are well treated and when they retire the fortunate ones are kept by the...

Good mourning Mr. Sleepy
My name is Winter Cold
I’ll freeze the heart you’re loving
To wound your mortal soul
Believe my little friend
You’re blind and you don’t know
Illusions come to an end
And you are gone
Her love is like a candle
Weeping in the wind
Blow out its flame
It’s easy as committing sins
Farewell for ever
Thousands needles in my heart
Get me some poison
No more lies
Good mourning Mr. Sleepy
Stare at this stormy sunset
The veil of doubt comes creeping
Like a disgusting insect
Believe my little friend
Her heart is turned to stone
Dreams come to an end
