Northern Exposure 2 is a mix album by Sasha & John Digweed released in 1997. In the United Kingdom, it was released by Ministry of Sound as a double CD package, whereas in the United States, it was on Ultra Records as two separate CDs — a "West Coast Edition" and an "East Coast Edition".
Like its critically acclaimed predecessor, Northern Exposure, Northern Exposure 2 is a concept album of specially selected tracks to set up like two different "journeys", the first is around the East Coast and the second around the West Coast.
Northern Exposure is an American television series that ran on CBS from 1990 to 1995, with a total of 110 episodes. The premise is a New York City physician, Dr. Joel Fleischman, is sent to practice in the town of Cicely, Alaska. Early episodes dealt with Fleischman's culture shock in the small town. While the show was nominally premised on the fish-out-of-water conflict between Fleischman's big city ways and the small-town mores of the Cicely residents, its focus shifted to dive more deeply into the quirky personalities of the eccentric townfolk.
The show was originally centered on Joel Fleischman (Rob Morrow), a newly minted physician from New York City. In order to pay for medical school, Fleischman had enrolled in a state run scholarship program which paid for his costs in exchange for a few years service at a hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. Because the hospital was overstaffed he was instead re-located to treat an underserved community in the fictitious rural town of Cicely, where no medical clinic existed before his arrival. Fleischman resisted, claiming it to be illegal. However, the fine print of his contract supported such a placement. Hilarity ensues as the 'big city' young man learns to live and work in an environment completely foreign to him.
Ups & Downs: Early Recordings and B-Sides is a B-Side compilation album by Saves the Day, released on Vagrant Records on August 24, 2004.
As the title suggests, it is a compilation of early recordings and B-sides, recorded between 1997 when they were known as Sefler to the live reworking of "Jessie & My Whetstone" in 2003. The compilation also includes the entire I'm Sorry I'm Leaving, remastered and without the Modern English cover, "I Melt with You", as well as for the first time on CD, the EP's vinyl-only track "The Way His Collar Falls".
All lyrics written by Christopher Conley, all songs written by Saves the Day.
Coast is a consumer magazine about the British seaside. It was launched as a bi-monthly title in 2004 by Coastal Living Ltd, and was then published by Edisea Ltd, until UK publishing company National Magazines (now Hearst Magazines UK) bought it in 2005. National Magazines continued to publish it bi-monthly as a sister title to Country Living magazine. It increased the number of issues published per year to ten in 2007. The Magazine was taken over by current publishers Kelsey Publishing Ltd in November 2012. The number of issues published per year was increased to twelve in 2014. Coast covers all aspects of living by the sea: homes, gardens, travel, food and health.
Every year the magazine celebrates the best of the British coastline in the Coast Awards, sponsored by Joules Clothing. The winners of each of the ten categories are usually announced in the June issue of the magazine. From 2008-2011, the Awards have been reader nominated and a panel of expert judges has decided on the winners from a short list. Past presenters of the Coast Awards ceremony have included Michaela Strachan and Julia Bradbury.
The coast is where the land meets the sea or ocean.

Violet Gray is a fictional character featured in the long-running syndicated daily and Sunday comic strip Peanuts, created by Charles M. Schulz. She was initially a major character, until she began to fade into the background.
Violet is best known as a snobby upper-class girl who likes bragging and, tagged along by her friends Patty (her best friend) and Lucy, often teases and torments Charlie Brown.
In addition to the comic strip, Violet has appeared alongside other Peanuts characters in numerous Peanuts television specials, cinematic movies, theatrical plays, and video games.
Violet was first featured in the February 7, 1951 Peanuts strip. From there on, Violet's character changed and developed until she began to become less prominent than the other major characters, with her forthcoming appearances reduced to mere cameos. Her last comic strip appearance, discounting the reruns of the strip, was on the November 27, 1997 Peanuts strip.
Violet is a work of interactive fiction by Jeremy Freese. It is a one-room puzzle game. It took first place in the 2008 Interactive Fiction Competition with an average score of 8.53. The protagonist of Violet is a graduate student trying to write 1,000 words for his dissertation. The protagonist's girlfriend, Violet, threatens to leave otherwise. The protagonist faces a stream of distractions, including a window with a view of the campus, and a computer with access to blogs and webcomics. In the course of the game, the protagonist must "reconsider—and risk wrecking—" his career and relationship.

Another day, another point of view:
Two friends no longer get along.
I haven't changed, so what happened to you?
The attitude you had is gone;
Say things but don't know what they mean --
You lie.
You values all come from magazines
You should try to think for yourself
It's really sad to see what you've become
I still believe what I believe
We used to rock when we were young
Two upstarts in the hardcore scene
Never regret.
East coast, mother fucker
How soon you forget
To think for yourself
Another wasted day
That you've let slip away
We're losing time
Eight years have come and gone
You think your work is done
But I'm trying
Your bullshit trip is out of control
It's all wrong
You're digging yourself into a hole
From now on
