Watch: Batfleck unleashes his fury
What happens when you get Tom Brady superfan Ben Affleck started on Deflategate? A shower of f-bombs — 19 to be exact.
Ever pepper an argument with curse words to emphasize a point? Well Batfleck does too. He used several NSFW words to show exactly how passionate he is about Deflategate. And, thankfully Bill Simmons' new show, Any Given Wednesday, is on HBO.
As we warned you, this clip is certainly NSFW.
"Deflategate is the ultimate bulls--- f------ outrage of sports ever," Affleck said. "What they did was suspend Tom Brady for four days for not giving them his f------ cell phone and for having a friend who called himself 'The Deflator.' If I got in trouble for all the things that my friends called themselves, I would be finished, okay?" (Is he talking to you, Matt Damon? If so, how do you like them apples?)
"I would never give the organization as leak-prone as the NFL my f------ cell phone," Affleck continued. "Now, I dunno, maybe it's funny, lovely sex messages from his wife (Gisele Bündchen), maybe it's just friendly messages from his wife, maybe Tom Brady's so f------ classy and such a f------ gentleman that he doesn't want people to know that he may have reflected on his real opinion of some of his co-workers." Really, would any of us feel comfortable with that happening?
The Suicide Squad actor also admitted that he thinks the whole drama is one, big "smear campaign."
"(NFL Commissioner Roger) Goodell doesn't have the integrity, I'd wanna say frankly, doesn't have the decency to just say you know, 'This is stupid. I was wrong,'" he said. "This is ridiculous. We're running our greatest player ever through this mill of humiliation and shame."
He also brought another issue that certainly deserves attention.
"We haven't done anything to address this crisis in domestic violence in the NFL, but the f------ football better not be 8% lighter. If we find out it is, you're gone for four games."
Thanks, Ben Affleck for being our IRL hero.
