Plot: Ruby Weaver has man trouble: she tries to fix them, so she's stuck herself with a string of losers. Her current lover, Sam Deed, seems different: he's sweet, tender, just in from Dubuque. But, as Ruby tells her therapist about Sam, in flashbacks we see someone not quite of this world. In fact, Sam informs Ruby that he's from the future, 2470 to be exact, traveling back in time to avoid prosecution for his sister's death, and to find Ruby, whose photo he saw back home. Ruby's sure he's delusional, but most of the time she wants to keep him - and maybe fix him. Although he seems sane, maybe Sam hasn't told her the real story: what's he up to, and who is Chrystie Delancey?

Plot: Sentenced to 5 years in prison, Erica Hayden is most worried about her unborn child's future. At this prison, they allow the women to keep their children until age 3 but at that point they must be given to a friend or relative outside the prison or surrendered to State authorities who will arrange an adoption. She tries desperately to find someone and the prison doctor even tries to help her out. One person who isn't keen on the arrangement is the new prison warden, Frank Cole, who thinks prison is no place for young children. Her only hope is that she will get parole after three years but when it's refused and her child is taken away without even giving her the chance to say goodbye, the women stage a riot.

The iconic star talked to Ellen about her feelings on getting older.
That's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
They told me I was such a fool to love you.
They said that you're the kind who'd never be true.
Pretty soon the day would come when I'd be the sorry one.
But I said that I'm not afraid.
Well, that's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
I went ahead and my heart opened the door.
I gave you so much love. No one could love more.
You pretended to be mine. How could you be so unkind,
with all the other girls you play?
Well, that's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
Woah-oh-oh, that's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
I know you're not sincere and you'll never be.
But still I want those kisses so desperately.
I could never let you go, baby even though I know
every rule in love you disobeyed.
Well, that's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made.
That's how heartaches are made . . .
