While visiting the Allaire State Park Campground I stumbled upon this cool part amphibious camper van RV motor home conversion built on the Volkswagen chassis. It is manufactured by Woelcke and the model is the Autark T5 Crosser Off Road. I hope to see these here in the States soon.

Capable of reaching high speeds over rough terrain as well as swimming the fastest rivers, the M3 Rig is undoubtedly the ultimate amphibian.
Not only does the vehicle race around on land and water, but it lets entire armies do it too. With its deployable ballast tanks and splash shield, the M3 can go from land vehicle to high speed watercraft within just a few minutes, boasting incredible performance and manoeuvrability.
Once in the water, the 26 tonne machine faces two key issues - power and drag. To combat this, the M3 boasts two water jets (one at the front, one at the rear) and a 360 degree swivable head for power assistance, as well as wheels that can be tucked in to reduce drag.
Of course, its most impressive feature is its ability to combine with one another and form a fully functioning mobile bridge. In just under 9 minutes, any number of M3s can join up and allow entire 70+ tonne tanks to cross entire rivers, before disbanding and dispersing before the enemy even has a clue they were there.

We decided to try something new... Building a go kart that will drive on the land, and sail in the water. This video is just the beginning- strapping PVC pipes to the sides, throwing it in the water, and watching out what will happen.

10. Gibbs Quadski: This is the Gibbs Quadski, an amphibian that operates as both an ATV and a personal watercraft. Quadski is a 4-stroke car, and top speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) on both land and water.
9. Amphicar: The Amphicar is a German amphibious automobile which first produced for sale to the public in 1961. The vehicle was designed by Hanns Trippel and manufactured by the Quandt Group at Lübeck and at Berlin-Borsigwalde. Its performance was modest, and only 4000 were produced by 1965.
8. Gibbs Aquada: The Gibbs Aquada is a high speed amphibious car developed by Gibbs Sports Amphibians in New Zealand. It is capable of speeds over 160 km/h (100 mph) on land and 50 km/h (30 mph / 26 knots) on water.
7. Rinspeed Splash: Well-known Swiss sportscar tuning firm Rinspeed built an amphibious car in 2004. With complicated hydrofoil design, the vehicle can go with speed 31 mph (50 km/h) on water. And on land top speed is 200km/h. It has a natural gas powered engine with displacement capacity of 750cc.
6. SeaRoader Lamborghini Countach: Lamborghini Countach that was modded by SeaRoader aquatecht Mike Ryan. It costs nearly $3,007.
5. Gibbs Humdinga: The 5-seater ‘Humdinga’ concept vehicle is a full-time 4WD powered by a 350 BHP V8 engine, capable of 160 kmh on land and on water at 65 kmh. Designed by Gibbs Technologies.

Hydra Spyder: The Hydra Spyder is an ultra-modern, stylish, retro-looking part sports car, part speedboat manufactured by Cool Amphibious Manufacturers International. it can reach speeds of at least 125 mph (201 km/h), while in the water it can attain 53 mph (85 km/h). The standard production model weights approximately 3,300 lbs and is powered by a Corvette LS2 6.0 liter V-8 engine rated at 400 h.p., 6000 rpm, and 400 ft. lbs of torque at 4000rpm.
3. Dobbertin HydroCar: It’s main body is made of type 304 stainless steel, so rust will not be a problem. Under the hood, it has a fully dyno-tuned Chevrolet engine that produces 762 horsepower at 5,800 rpm. Originally, the car used a six-bladed propeller.
