SALMO (Maurizio Pisciottu, classe 1984) è un pionieristico artista sardo ormai di stanza a Milano, dove vive e lavora insieme alla sua crew, il collettivo Machete, in una factory warholiana che è casa e studio insieme, animata da rapper, produttori, grafici e videomakers.
Da Olbia a Milano, dall'ambiente metal, punk-rock e hardcore dell'Isola, in un solo anno SALMO ha conquistato la scena rap italiana e ne ha cambiato i connotati di genere, introducendovi elementi di elettronica e rap hardcore come qui in Italia ancora non si era visto.
Prima di approdare definitivamente al rap, SALMO ha militato in gruppi hardcore: gli Skasico (con cui ha prodotto 3 album e girato l'Europa), i Three Pigs e i To Ed Gein, con i quali ha partecipato all'Heineken Jammin' Festival di Venezia nel 2008. Nel 2011, dopo un'incessante attività live, Salmo produce il primo disco solista "The Island Chainshaw Massacre" dove mischia sonorità elettroniche e rap anni 90, tratto distintivo e rivoluzionario per il panorama rap italiano.
Lo stesso anno SALMO si trasferisce a Milano con la sua Machete Crew e, a inizi 2012, in una sola settimana dà vita - per Tanta Roba, l'etichetta indipendente di Guè Pequeno e Dj Harsh - all'album della svolta: "Death USB". Il disco va subito al primo posto in classifica su iTunes nella settimana di Sanremo. SALMO diventa così l'artista più cliccato, davanti ai big della musica italiana e internazionale. Si aggiudica anche un MTV Music Awards nella categoria Best Crossover. Persino Jovanotti si accorge della portata rivoluzionaria dell'arte di SALMO e ne esprime il suo apprezzamento su Twitter: "Questo Death USB di SALMO mi piace, c'è vita nella musica italiana".
L'attività live occupa un posto centrale nella vita di SALMO che trova sul palco la sua naturale e autentica dimensione, a contatto col suo pubblico, trasversale come il suo personaggio e la sua proposta musicale, pesantemente contaminata e in continua evoluzione.
Il 2 aprile 2013 è uscito, sempre per Tanta Roba Label, il nuovo disco "Midnite" (slang per "Mezzanotte", l'ora zero della nostra epoca infernale), una bomba di 13 tracce anticipato dal singolo "Russell Crowe" (Produzione di Cyberpunkers).
"Midnite" ha raggiunto, dopo una settimana dall'uscita, il primo posto tra gli album più venduti in Italia ed è stato premiato a luglio 2013 con il Disco d'Oro per aver venduto più di 30mila copie (dato GFK).

Jay Chou
Jay Chou ((traditional Chinese: 周杰倫; simplified Chinese: 周杰伦; pinyin: Zhōu Jiélún, born 18 January 1979) is a Taiwanese musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, director, and actor.
In 2000, Chou released his debut album, titled Jay (2000), under the record company Alfa Music. Since then his music has gained recognition throughout Asia, most notably in regions such as Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Japan and in the Asian communities of Western countries such as the United States and Australia. He has sold more than 30 million albums and has received numerous awards for his musical work. Chou has also written songs for other artists whilst working on his albums. In 2003, he was the cover story of Time magazine (Asia version), titled New King of Asian Pop, acknowledging his influence on popular culture. He has since held six world tours, performing in cities around the world to more than 10 million people.
Chou debuted his acting career in the film Initial D (2005); followed shortly by his role as the honorable son, Prince Jai, in the multi-nominated Mandarin Chinese epic, Curse Of The Golden Flower (2006). He has since ventured into many other movie projects, becoming known to western audiences when he made his Hollywood debut in 2011 with The Green Hornet, starring alongside Seth Rogen and Christoph Waltz. Chou also manages his own record and management company JVR Music.

Plot: Trampas, a cowhand from Medicine Bow, Wyoming, is sent to Mexico to buy a bull for his employer. Unlike D'Artagnan, he has no notion of actually fighting the Rangers: all he wants is out of Laredo. He's on his way out of town when he runs into the three Rangers--who turn out to be partners--on their way to track down a missing train carrying a payroll. The Rangers, learning Trampas is headed in the same direction they are, suggest they all ride together--that way, they can fight him after they have fulfilled their mission. Without much choice, Trampas wryly agrees. When they find the train, however, they quickly forget their quarrels--the train was robbed and everyone aboard killed, except for one infant covered by his mother's body. Concerned the baby won't survive long without care, they proceed across the Rio Grande to the nearest town, where they know of a cantina owner with innumerable children. They get the baby to Mama Dolores, but not without run-ins with Mexican Urales and marauding Yaquis. Somewhere along the way, the Rangers begin to suspect it was the Yaquis who robbed the train--but Yaquis don't rob trains and they have no use for money...and where did they get those fancy new rifles?

SALMO (Maurizio Pisciottu, classe 1984) è un pionieristico artista sardo ormai di stanza a Milano, dove vive e lavora insieme alla sua crew, il collettivo Machete, in una factory warholiana che è casa e studio insieme, animata da rapper, produttori, grafici e videomakers.
Da Olbia a Milano, dall'ambiente metal, punk-rock e hardcore dell'Isola, in un solo anno SALMO ha conquistato la scena rap italiana e ne ha cambiato i connotati di genere, introducendovi elementi di elettronica e rap hardcore come qui in Italia ancora non si era visto.
Prima di approdare definitivamente al rap, SALMO ha militato in gruppi hardcore: gli Skasico (con cui ha prodotto 3 album e girato l'Europa), i Three Pigs e i To Ed Gein, con i quali ha partecipato all'Heineken Jammin' Festival di Venezia nel 2008. Nel 2011, dopo un'incessante attività live, Salmo produce il primo disco solista "The Island Chainshaw Massacre" dove mischia sonorità elettroniche e rap anni 90, tratto distintivo e rivoluzionario per il panorama rap italiano.
Lo stesso anno SALMO si trasferisce a Milano con la sua Machete Crew e, a inizi 2012, in una sola settimana dà vita - per Tanta Roba, l'etichetta indipendente di Guè Pequeno e Dj Harsh - all'album della svolta: "Death USB". Il disco va subito al primo posto in classifica su iTunes nella settimana di Sanremo. SALMO diventa così l'artista più cliccato, davanti ai big della musica italiana e internazionale. Si aggiudica anche un MTV Music Awards nella categoria Best Crossover. Persino Jovanotti si accorge della portata rivoluzionaria dell'arte di SALMO e ne esprime il suo apprezzamento su Twitter: "Questo Death USB di SALMO mi piace, c'è vita nella musica italiana".
L'attività live occupa un posto centrale nella vita di SALMO che trova sul palco la sua naturale e autentica dimensione, a contatto col suo pubblico, trasversale come il suo personaggio e la sua proposta musicale, pesantemente contaminata e in continua evoluzione.
Il 2 aprile 2013 è uscito, sempre per Tanta Roba Label, il nuovo disco "Midnite" (slang per "Mezzanotte", l'ora zero della nostra epoca infernale), una bomba di 13 tracce anticipato dal singolo "Russell Crowe" (Produzione di Cyberpunkers).
"Midnite" ha raggiunto, dopo una settimana dall'uscita, il primo posto tra gli album più venduti in Italia ed è stato premiato a luglio 2013 con il Disco d'Oro per aver venduto più di 30mila copie (dato GFK).
