The UN Zambia - 'Delivering as One' is a short documentary film, which reflects the spirit of the UN's work in Zambia. The documentary was released in Zambia, on the occasion of the 68th Anniversary of the United Nations.
The UN Zambia reserves all rights of the 'UN Zambia - Delivering as One' documentary, which begins with a PSA.
A song used as background music in the PSA is a remix version of 'A Hymn to the United Nations', published on 22 March 2012. This song was written and performed at the United Nations Headquarters on 24 October 1971, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the United Nations. Her authors were famous Spanish composer Pablo Casals and classic of English poetry Whystan Auden.
The UN Zambia thanks the authors, and the UN Department of Public Information (DPI) for a few historic photos used in the documentary.

Delivering as One
Delivering as One is the name of a report and an initiative. The report was issued by a United Nations panel established by the then UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, in 2005. The report explored how the United Nations system could work more coherently and effectively across the world in the areas of development, humanitarian assistance and the environment. The panel issued its report in November 2006, and sets out a program of reform of the international humanitarian system. It focuses on four main principles: One Leader, One Budget, One Programme and One Office.

The vision of the Tanzania police force is to ensure every child, woman and man who reports to these Desks is treated with dignity and sensitivity, and that every case is handled effectively and efficiently. Kevin Anderson is professor of energy and climate change in the School of Mechanical, Aeronautical and Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester. Anderson recently finished a two-year position as director of the Tyndall Centre, the UK's leading academic climate change research organisation. Kevin’s work makes clear that there is now little to no chance of maintaining the rise in global mean surface temperature at below 2°C, despite repeated high-level statements to the contrary. Moreover, it demonstrates how avoiding even a 4°C rise demands a radical reframing of both the climate change agenda and the economic characterisation of contemporary society.

The incomparable, undeniable and incredible woman that is Erykah Badu, stopped by Sway in the Morning today. Not only is she a singer-songwriter, but she's a record producer, activist, actress, DJ -- and doula!
Opening up the conversation, Sway reminisces on the first time they met in the 90's and praising her for how far she has come. In fact, next weekend, November 29th, you can catch Ms. Badu hosting the Soul Train Awards. Not only is she hosting, but she's also an Associate Producer with complete control of all her lines.
That same week, November 27th, she'll also be dropping her new album, But You Can't Use My Phone. Describing her music as "sound(ing) like a mirror" soaking in the frequency around us.
While in-studio she also opened up about being a doula. According to Google, "a birth companion and post-birth supporter, is a nonmedical person who assists a woman before, during, and/or after childbirth, as well as her spouse and/or family, by providing physical assistance and emotional support."
Telling us, she's helped deliver 40 babies, as of today.
