This is a video of how to make a graphite crucible using a rather unique compression and extrusion process I invented. I am sorry it took so long but sometimes what looks easy on paper can turn out difficult. I welcome everyone to contribute in both technique and clay formulas to this project. I will try to answer any questions since I had more video footage than would fit into this 15 min video. Crucible formulas are "Proprietary" among the various manufacturers making finding a formula difficult.

Using a microwave to expand graphite produces partially-exfoliated graphene "worms" that are useful in the production of graphene and for making supercapacitor batteries. This method involves microwaving acid-treated graphite to produce expanded graphite. Acid-treated graphite can be made by soaking approximately 10 grams of ~35 mesh flake graphite in 150 mL concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4, 98%) together with 50 mL 70% Phosphoric acid (70%) overnight. The acid molecules are small enough to squeeze in between and intercalate the layers of graphene that make up the graphite flakes. The graphite is then placed in a acid-resistant filter paper (PE/PTFE) and washed with copious amounts of deionized (DI) or distilled water several times to remove any excess acid until the pH reaches 7 and is dried overnight or for several hours in a vacuum drier at 60-80 degrees C. The dried acid-treated graphite is then placed in a modified domestic 1000-Watt microwave oven for 1-2 minutes at a time with frequent intermissions in order to remove the expanded graphite and to rearrange the remaining unexpanded graphite. The process is repeated until all the acid-treated graphite is expanded.
NOTE: This procedure involves dangerous, corrosive strong acids, dangerous or fatal acid fumes and vapors, and high heat produced by the microwave-assisted expansion. This procedure can cause skin burns, acid/chemical burns, respiratory injury or failure, and potential death. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE INDOORS WITH A KITCHEN MICROWAVE, OR WITHOUT THE NECESSARY PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (GOOGLES, GLOVES) AND PROPER CHEMICAL AND SAFETY TRAINING. The acid vapors will destroy the microwave oven if the oven is not properly vented and shielded with acid-resistant materials to keep the acid vapors from condensing inside the oven and destroying the electrical components. Do not attempt to open any microwave oven if you are either an amateur person who has never serviced electrical appliances, or someone who is unsure or unskilled in electronics and electrical safety, as microwave ovens contain a high-voltage capacitor which hold several thousand volts (even when the oven is not in operation or is unplugged) and can kill a person on direct contact if touched. The use of high-voltage transformers and microwave ovens for this procedure as demonstrated in this video should never be performed by children or any person who is unfamiliar with chemical and electrical safety and must follow all safety precautions and assume any and all risks, including damage of equipment, personal injury or death, that are likely to occur from performing this procedure.

Structure of Diamond and Graphite
The structure of diamond Carbon has an electronic arrangement of 2,4. In diamond, each carbon shares electrons with four other carbon atoms - forming four single bonds.
In the diagram some carbon atoms only seem to be forming two bonds (or even one bond), but that's not really the case. We are only showing a small bit of the whole structure.
This is a giant covalent structure - it continues on and on in three dimensions. It is not a molecule, because the number of atoms joined up in a real diamond is completely variable - depending on the size of the crystal
The structure of Graphite :Graphite has a layer structure which is quite difficult to draw convincingly in three dimensions. The diagram below shows the arrangement of the atoms in each layer, and the way the layers are spaced.
Notice that you can't really draw the side view of the layers to the same scale as the atoms in the layer without one or other part of the diagram being either very spread out or very squashed.
In that case, it is important to give some idea of the distances involved. The distance between the layers is about 2.5 times the distance between the atoms within each layer.
The layers, of course, extend over huge numbers of atoms - not just the few shown above.
You might argue that carbon has to form 4 bonds because of its 4 unpaired electrons, whereas in this diagram it only seems to be forming 3 bonds to the neighbouring carbons. This diagram is something of a simplification, and shows the arrangement of atoms rather than the bonding.

SOME INFO TO How to Make / DIY GRAPHENE / GRAPHITE PLASTIC
You need a really ULTRAFINE powder of graphite or better a intercalation graphite. The polystyrene is only like binder and for this reason you need to make the right concentration of graphite powder/polystyrene (add more graphite). And to finish,... if you got the possibility to using a presses machine. I use a press machine and I press the electrodes with couples of bars. The graphite in polystyrene cannot conduct very well if it ist not good compressed!
ALTERNATIVE: Try to make some bioplastic from milk! In warm milk you add some acid and graphite powder! But dont forget to press the material.

Hello, The World and good people of Youtube I would like to give you my knowledge and the product, and propose cooperation, In the next videos, I will give you all the details of how we can begin to work and how we can help each other but first I will introduce you with some of my You tube videos research.
This is my latest movie where in it is shown what materials we are facing.
And that is - Hydrogen Peroxide with concentrations of greater than 60% of the hydrogen.,
Potassium Permanganate, self extracted Graphite extracted from wood ashes in the combustion process. on this video It did not work out as planned but at least I showed you how very interactive oxides and hydrogen with graphite are. In fact it is like the magic because there is no fire inside only enormous power of interaction and heat . maybe that should be the rocket fuel, but it is very health risky I do use it to crush graphite particles apart and mix it with Polymers.
Now lets move back on the ground. Conductive graphite polymers,
Polyaniline, it is sometimes called super conductive plastic, but is it really ? , it has resistivity about 10 ohms it is used on OLEDS and Tablet screens and it is working good with it. But we do not need it. We need something that will resonate good current that will be water proof and it will not be. hidden behind a glass or other material and it will interact with sun rays easily will not oxidize fast. And here it is our graphite dissolved in liquid polymer glue, I will call it conductive liquid graphite. Is it better then Polyaniline ? – no it is not, but it is different . With resistivity about 180-200 ohms/1 cm it is good enough to begin creating very useful material at the moment our polymers are still liquid glue not a single layered material we can change it by applying force on the graphite and force it to move on aside each other so after polishing and pressing we will get to the resistivity of 18-40 Ohms / 1 cm. and a solid good arranged graphite particles squeezed in between each another and in between polymers.
Now we have good conductive sheets of material with the resistivity of 18- 40 Ohms but as a glue it should be born on the another material so, what is the best material. It depends on the purpose:
This material might be pored on aluminum foil and rolled on and we will have the battery when alkaloid is added. But for me the most advance product might be the wave or sun particles resonator, this product is ready to collect current on a larger scale than standard solar panels.
I do working on that at the moment but maybe you have some ideas to share so we can work together.
Or we can forget about electricity and us it as the superior not corrosive primer material. So we can have very good cover for any vehicle or plane or bigger toys or anything that do not stays in water constant, because it is water resistant but not waterproof, water would eventually get into the micro pores and loosen the binding, it would take 1 or 2 months. So when you thinking about building boats you should have some solid material from outside and you may still use as superior strengthening graphite material on the inside or we can additionally dust spray the graphite and later polish it so we would have the bigger water resistivity but you still must remember that it is Glued graphite dust .
The description of the product : Liquid Polymer with Graphite and silver nano particles glue. water resistant but not water proof with resistivity of 180-200 Ohms additionally ready to be process by solid polishing into a silver like shiny conductive 18-50 Ohms not corrosive material. Resonating the same way as speakers.

The mineral graphite

This is a video of how to make a graphite crucible using a rather unique compression and extrusion process I invented. I am sorry it took so long but sometimes what looks easy on paper can turn out difficult. I welcome everyone to contribute in both technique and clay formulas to this project. I will try to answer any questions since I had more video footage than would fit into this 15 min video. The Microwave Production of Expanded Graphite
Using a microwave to expand graphite produces partially-exfoliated graphene "worms" that are useful in the production of graphene and for making supercapacitor batteries. This method involves microwaving acid-treated graphite to produce expanded graphite. Acid-treated graphite can be made by soaking approximately 10 grams of ~35 mesh flake graphite in 150 mL concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4, 98%) together with 50 mL 70% Phosphoric acid (70%) overnight. The acid molecules are small enough to squeeze in between and intercalate the layers of graphene that make up the graphite flakes. The graphite is then placed in a acid-resistant filter paper (PE/PTFE) and washed with copious amounts of deionized (DI) or distilled water several times to remove any excess acid until the pH reaches 7 and is d... -

The polystyrene is only like binder and for this reason you need to make the right concentration of graphite powder/polystyrene (add more graphite). And to finish,... if you got the possibility to using a presses machine. I use a press machine and I press the electrodes with couples of bars. The graphite in polystyrene cannot conduct very well if it ist not good compressed! ALTERNATIVE: Try to make some bioplastic from milk! In warm milk you add some acid and graphite powder! Acid-treated graphite can be made by soaking approximately 10 grams of ~35 mesh flake graphite in 150 mL concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4, 98%) together with 50 mL 70% Phosphoric acid (70%) overnight. The acid molecules are small enough to squeeze in between and intercalate the layers of graphene that make up the graphite flakes. The graphite is then placed in a acid-resistant filter paper (PE/PTFE) and washed with copious amounts of deionized (DI) or distilled water several times to remove any excess acid until the pH reaches 7 and is dried overnight or for several hours in a vacuum drier at 60-80 degrees C. The dried acid-treated graphite is then placed in a modified domestic 1000-Watt microwave oven for 1-2 minutes at a time with frequent intermissions in order to remove the expanded graphite and to rearrange the remaining unexpanded graphite. The process is repeated until all the acid-treated graphite is expanded.
NOTE: This procedure involves dangerous, corrosive strong acids, dangerous or fatal acid fumes and vapors, and high heat produced by the microwave-assisted expansion. This procedure can cause skin burns, acid/chemical burns, respiratory injury or failure, and potential death. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE INDOORS WITH A KITCHEN MICROWAVE, OR WITHOUT THE NECESSARY PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (GOOGLES, GLOVES) AND PROPER CHEMICAL AND SAFETY TRAINING. The acid vapors will destroy the microwave oven if the oven is not properly vented and shielded with acid-resistant materials to keep the acid vapors from condensing inside the oven and destroying the electrical components. Do not attempt to open any microwave oven if you are either an amateur person who has never serviced electrical appliances, or someone who is unsure or unskilled in electronics and electrical safety, as microwave ovens contain a high-voltage capacitor which hold several thousand volts (even when the oven is not in operation or is unplugged) and can kill a person on direct contact if touched. The use of high-voltage transformers and microwave ovens for this procedure as demonstrated in this video should never be performed by children or any person who is unfamiliar with chemical and electrical safety and must follow all safety precautions and assume any and all risks, including damage of equipment, personal injury or death, that are likely to occur from performing this procedure.

The structure of Graphite :Graphite has a layer structure which is quite difficult to draw convincingly in three dimensions. The diagram below shows the arrangement of the atoms in each layer, and the way the layers are spaced.
Notice that you can't really draw the side view of the layers to the same scale as the atoms in the layer without one or other part of the diagram being either very spread out or very squashed.
In that case, it is important to give some idea of the distances involved. The distance between the layers is about 2.5 times the distance between the atoms within each layer.
The layers, of course, extend over huge numbers of atoms - not just the few shown above.
You might argue that carbon has to form 4 bonds because of its 4 unpaired electrons, whereas in this diagram it only seems to be forming 3 bonds to the neighbouring carbons. This diagram is something of a simplification, and shows the arrangement of atoms rather than the bonding.

Potassium Permanganate, self extracted Graphite extracted from wood ashes in the combustion process. on this video It did not work out as planned but at least I showed you how very interactive oxides and hydrogen with graphite are. In fact it is like the magic because there is no fire inside only enormous power of interaction and heat . maybe that should be the rocket fuel, but it is very health risky I do use it to crush graphite particles apart and mix it with Polymers.
Now lets move back on the ground. Conductive graphite polymers,
Polyaniline, it is sometimes called super conductive plastic, but is it really ? , it has resistivity about 10 ohms it is used on OLEDS and Tablet screens and it is working good with it. But we do not need it. We need something that will resonate good current that will be water proof and it will not be. hidden behind a glass or other material and it will interact with sun rays easily will not oxidize fast. And here it is our graphite dissolved in liquid polymer glue, I will call it conductive liquid graphite. Is it better then Polyaniline ? – no it is not, but it is different . With resistivity about 180-200 ohms/1 cm it is good enough to begin creating very useful material at the moment our polymers are still liquid glue not a single layered material we can change it by applying force on the graphite and force it to move on aside each other so after polishing and pressing we will get to the resistivity of 18-40 Ohms / 1 cm. and a solid good arranged graphite particles squeezed in between each another and in between polymers.
Now we have good conductive sheets of material with the resistivity of 18- 40 Ohms but as a glue it should be born on the another material so, what is the best material. It depends on the purpose:
This material might be pored on aluminum foil and rolled on and we will have the battery when alkaloid is added. But for me the most advance product might be the wave or sun particles resonator, this product is ready to collect current on a larger scale than standard solar panels.

This is my latest movie where in it is shown what materials we are facing.
And that is - Hydrogen Peroxide with concentrations of greater than 60% of the hydrogen.,
Potassium Permanganate, self extracted Graphite extracted from wood ashes in the combustion process. on this video It did not work out as planned but at least I showed you how very interactive oxides and hydrogen with graphite are. In fact it is like the magic because there is no fire inside only enormous power of interaction and heat . maybe that should be the rocket fuel, but it is very health risky I do use it to crush graphite particles apart and mix it with Polymers.
Now lets move back on the ground. Conductive graphite polymers,
Polyaniline, it is sometimes called super conductive plastic, but is it really ? , it has resistivity about 10 ohms it is used on OLEDS and Tablet screens and it is working good with it. But we do not need it. We need something that will resonate good current that will be water proof and it will not be. hidden behind a glass or other material and it will interact with sun rays easily will not oxidize fast. And here it is our graphite dissolved in liquid polymer glue, I will call it conductive liquid graphite. Is it better then Polyaniline ? – no it is not, but it is different . With resistivity about 180-200 ohms/1 cm it is good enough to begin creating very useful material at the moment our polymers are still liquid glue not a single layered material we can change it by applying force on the graphite and force it to move on aside each other so after polishing and pressing we will get to the resistivity of 18-40 Ohms / 1 cm. and a solid good arranged graphite particles squeezed in between each another and in between polymers.
Now we have good conductive sheets of material with the resistivity of 18- 40 Ohms but as a glue it should be born on the another material so, what is the best material. It depends on the purpose:
This material might be pored on aluminum foil and rolled on and we will have the battery when alkaloid is added. But for me the most advance product might be the wave or sun particles resonator, this product is ready to collect current on a larger scale than standard solar panels.
