A soap opera, soapie, or soap is a serial drama on television or radio which features related story lines about the lives of many characters. The stories usually focus on emotional relationships to the point of melodrama. The term soap opera originated from such dramas being typically sponsored by soap manufacturers in the past.
The first series considered to be a "soap opera" was Painted Dreams, which debuted on October 20, 1930 on Chicago radio station WGN. Early radio series such as Painted Dreams were broadcast in weekday daytime slots, usually five days a week, when most of the listeners would be housewives; thus, the shows were aimed at and consumed by a predominantly female audience. In the name, "soap" refers to the soap and detergent commercials originally broadcast during the shows, which were aimed at women who were cleaning their houses at the time of listening or viewing, and "opera" refers to the melodramatic character of the shows.

In the video, the woman gets shot right in the middle of her forehead but no, she doesn’t die immediately. She takes her own sweet time. And after she gets shot, she asks her husband to bring back the gajra she was wearing which he gently puts in her hair. No, she doesn’t even die then. She goes on to lie in his lap while she stares into the phone. The man, in fact, seems more in pain.
Jigyasa enters just when Daadi is criticizing her. Jigyasa gives Diwali gifts to Rano, Anu and Rashi and once again hurts Rashi with her harsh words. Pushkar comes to take Pia and says that he wants to celebrate Diwali with her. Pushkar takes Pia to a new house that Jai has gifted to him. Pia remembers the night spent with Jai and runs away from Pushkar. Jigyasa commands Bani not to attend Barnali's dinner party as she is Jai's business rival. Everyone gets shocked as Bani retorts by saying that she has seen Barnali's picture with Jigyasa. Bani is firm on her decision to attend the party. Jai slaps Pia as she alleges that he has gifted the flat to Pushkar to hide truth of their one night stand from him.

I lost your room keys so sue me
would you be interested
in hearing what I have to say for myself
and after all the confusion
illusions seem to say
you're going to be a soap opera star
You're instamatic not static
to get what you reach for
you're a piece of work, yes you are
Always a big deal, what you feel
so be real with us now
we know those day time spots taught you how
to be right now
so show us how
was it really that bad
was it really that bad
after all that you said
after all that you did
I felt you lips when you kissed me
amazing just to see
you're a superstar, forget TV
Forget the numbers and faces
remember who you are
we still love our sop opera star
you're spectacular
