The Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012) and its regulations establish the legislative basis for the federal practice of environmental assessment in most regions of Canada.
The Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, S.C. 1992, c. 37 (CEAA) is an Act of Parliament that was passed by the Government of Canada in 1992. The Act requires federal departments, including Environment Canada, agencies, and Crown corporations to conduct environmental assessments for proposed projects where the federal government is the proponent or where the project involves federal funding, permits, or licensing.
The original version of the act was repealed in 2012 and re-written. The new law came into effect on July 6, 2012. Differences between the new act, the Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (sc2012 c-19) and the previous act, the Environmental Assessment Act (sc 1992 c-37).
Difference in purpose
New act omits the preamble. This stated that the purpose of the act is (1) to achieve sustainable development that conserves environmental quality by integrating environmental factors into planning and decision-making process, (2) exercise leadership within Canada and internationally, and (3) to provide access to information and to facilitating public participation.
Fish Lake may refer to:
Trousers (pants in North America) are an item of clothing worn from the waist to the ankles, covering both legs separately (rather than with cloth extending across both legs as in robes, skirts, and dresses).
In the UK the word "pants" generally means underwear and not trousers.Shorts are similar to trousers, but with legs that come down only to around the area of the knee, higher or lower depending on the style of the garment. To distinguish them from shorts, trousers may be called "long trousers" in certain contexts such as school uniform, where tailored shorts may be called "short trousers", especially in the UK.
In most of the Western world, trousers have been worn since ancient times and throughout the Medieval period, becoming the most common form of lower-body clothing for adult males in the modern world, although shorts are also widely worn, and kilts and other garments may be worn in various regions and cultures. Breeches were worn instead of trousers in early modern Europe by some men in higher classes of society. Since the mid-20th century, trousers have increasingly been worn by women as well. Jeans, made of denim, are a form of trousers for casual wear, now widely worn all over the world by both sexes. Shorts are often preferred in hot weather or for some sports and also often by children and teenagers. Trousers are worn on the hips or waist and may be held up by their own fastenings, a belt or suspenders (braces). Leggings are form-fitting trousers, of a clingy material, often knitted cotton and spandex (elastane).

In this piece modeled off the soundtrack of Thomas Tallis' Third Mode Melody, four video tracks of bamboo, freeway, pine and water correspond to note arrangements. Pine represents a 4-note combination using B, E, G. Water is a 4-note combination using A, C, E. Freeway is C, E, G. Every other combination of notes is bamboo clip. This scheme was based on the frequency of 4-note combinations occurring in Third Mode Melody, with BEGE being the most used chord, occurring 14 times. This strength was associated with the pine, a long lived and evergreen tree. The water combination occurred 4 times as CEAA. The audio track is divided into bars and measures corresponding to sheet music. On the bars with more than one note, opacity is adjusted on each track to reflect note percentage.
