SWAT team rescues hostages from 'drug dealers' in dramatic footage on busy city street A SWAT team has staged a dramatic rescue of five hostages who were held at gunpoint by two suspected drug traffickers . This incredible footage shows the two suspects, both women, being detained by police with their hostages escorted to safety. According to police reports the two women, identified only by their surnames Du and Cao, aged 34 and 25, were hiding out in a high-rise residential building from which they were running their alleged drug operation. But when they realised they had been tracked, police in from Deyang City, in south-western China’s Sichuan Province, say they tried to make a quick escape and took five of their neighbours hostage. Reports said two warning shots were fired from the gun of one of the suspects as well. But footage of the incident shows how members of the SWAT team from provincial capital Chengdu sneaked up on the group as they exited the entrance on the ground floor.
