Plot: The backbone of the story is Angus Buchan - at the 2009 Mighty Men Conference - sharing his simple but rock solid faith with a few hundred thousand men. We experience his on-stage heart attack and the resulting personal insight he received from God regarding his own ministry. In the vast crowd we find three typical men - all in the process of being touched by the Holy Spirit through Angus's words. We find Andre Cloete - a twenty something man who became ensnared in alcohol abuse and a wasted life - due to his broken relationship with his 'strictly religious' and absent father. Then there is John Peters - a middle aged panel beater from Bethlehem who's business, family relationships and health have been spiraling down to the brink of collapse. Lastly we meet Lucky Nzimande - a young, black criminal who naively attempts to hi-jack the vehicle of two ex special-forces policemen en route to the Mighty Men Conference. The film tells the dramatic story of the three men's journeys and experiences leading up to the 2010 MMC. Their respective stories are cleverly interwoven with the anointed message and ministry of Angus Buchan.

...alright, here's the final project. There's nothing left to hide so I'm making this public this time, although you should still try to cover your ears.
I've included as many explosions as possible to cover the singing a little bit, but most of it's hearable. That said, after hearing it multiple times it doesn't sound as bad.
If I were to be perfectly honest,
I am in no way satisfied with this project.
And I don't know who/what to blame- myself, or the way we're supposed to do the project.
I could blame myself for being unable to create a character, develop the character, have the character change and have an overall message in the story within the short time of
3-5 minutes, even though I'm perfectly capable of writing huge stories within a month or so.
But I could also blame the way the project is designed, because one of the big reasons why I dislike the end result is that someone has to sing, and, since there's no way I was gonna be able to get someone else to do it, I did it myself, and it sounds awful. We also need a plot twist, which I, in all my years of story developing, drawing and writing, have only handled in my suspense story in my
Creative Writing class. And that thing was over
100 pages long, with character traits and plot points that actually led to twists, unlike this one where there's hardly enough time to tell the story.
There's also that fact that it's a music video (again), meaning there's practically no dialogue to speak of and everything must be conveyed in body language and/or text. And to be honest building a character that doesn't talk is practically impossible- I'd never want to try to write a story revolving around dialogue-less
Kirby.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. I guess I just don't match up well with this project. My creativity added into a video sounds good on paper, but the result is kinda conflicting.
What was my favorite part of the video? Definitely the credits, because I wasn't restricted to a song there.
Anyway, I kinda have to add this part...
