Welcome back MechanicaLEi, did you know that Pythagoreans were the first to deal with regular solids but the Platonists were the first to study Solid Geometry? This makes us wonder, what is Solid Geometry?
Before we jump in check out the previous part of this series to learn about What two and three dimensional Laplace equations are?
Now, Solid geometry deals with the measurements of volumes of various three-dimensional figures including pyramids, prisms and other polyhedrons. It consists of two intersections: First, an intersection of surfaces forming an intersection curve which is the intersection line of two non-parallel planes in Euclidean three dimensional space. In general, an intersection curve consists of the common points of two transversally intersecting surfaces, meaning that at any common point the surface normals are not parallel. Second, Interpenetration of solids when one solid penetrates another solid then their surfaces intersect and at the junction of intersection a typical curve is formed, which remains common to both solids. this curve is called curve of intersection.
In addition to frontal, horizontal or profile planes which offer the principal orthographic views, additional planes are set up so as to be parallel to the edges and faces which should be shown in true sizes. The views projected on these auxiliary planes are called Auxiliary Views and the technique used is called Auxiliary projection Technique. This technique helps promote visualization of solid-solid projection and is mainly drafted out on drawing sheets.

Solid geometry
In mathematics, solid geometry is the traditional name for the geometry of three-dimensional Euclidean space.
Stereometry deals with the measurements of volumes of various solid figures or Polyhedrons (three-dimensional figures) including pyramids, cylinders, cones, truncated cones, spheres, and prisms.
The Pythagoreans dealt with the regular solids, but the pyramid, prism, cone and cylinder were not studied until the Platonists. Eudoxus established their measurement, proving the pyramid and cone to have one-third the volume of a prism and cylinder on the same base and of the same height, and was probably the discoverer of a proof that the volume of a sphere is proportional to the cube of its radius.

SOLID (object-oriented design)
In computer programming, SOLID (Single responsibility, Open-closed, Liskov substitution, Interface segregation and Dependency inversion) is a mnemonic acronym introduced by Michael Feathers for the "first five principles" named by Robert C. Martin in the early 2000s that stands for five basic principles of object-oriented programming and design. The principles, when applied together, intend to make it more likely that a programmer will create a system that is easy to maintain and extend over time. The principles of SOLID are guidelines that can be applied while working on software to remove code smells by causing the programmer to refactor the software's source code until it is both legible and extensible. It is part of an overall strategy of agile and Adaptive Software Development.

Unity (ISS module)
The Unity connecting module was the first U.S.-built component of the International Space Station. It is cylindrical in shape, with six berthing locations (forward, aft, port, starboard, zenith, and nadir) facilitating connections to other modules. Unity measures 4.57 metres (15.0 ft) in diameter, is 5.47 metres (17.9 ft) long, and was built for NASA by Boeing in a manufacturing facility at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Sometimes referred to as Node 1, Unity was the first of the three connecting modules; the other two are Harmony and Tranquility.
Launch and initial berthing
Unity was carried into orbit as the primary cargo of the Space Shuttle Endeavour on STS-88, the first Space Shuttle mission dedicated to assembly of the station. On December 6, 1998, the STS-88 crew mated the aft berthing port of Unity with the forward hatch of the already orbiting Zarya module. (Zarya was a mixed Russian-US funded and Russian-built component launched earlier aboard a Russian Proton rocket from Baikonur, Kazakhstan.) This was the first connection made between two station modules.

Unity (Star Trek: Voyager)
"Unity" is the 17th episode of the third season of the American science fiction television series Star Trek: Voyager, the 59th episode overall. The episode first aired on the UPN network on February 12, 1997, as part of sweeps week. It was written by producer Kenneth Biller, and is the second episode to be directed by cast member Robert Duncan McNeill. It marked the first appearance of the Borg in Voyager.
Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures of the Starfleet and Maquis crew of the starship USS Voyager after they were stranded in the Delta Quadrant far from the rest of the Federation. In this episode, while on an away mission, Chakotay is taken in by a group of former Borg who seek help from the crew of Voyager to reactivate their neural link. The ex-Borg force Chakotay to reactivate a Borg cube (a large Borg spaceship), but, in their new-found "Co-operative", the ex-Borg make the cube self-destruct, saving Voyager.
Biller was influenced by the story of the Tower of Babel in writing the episode, and also considered the dissolution of the Soviet Union to be an influence. The crew re-used the make-up and costumes of the Borg designed for the film Star Trek: First Contact, but sets were not re-used. A new fully computer generated Borg cube was created for "Unity", and the storyline of the episode was intended as a hint to those in the later two-part episode "Scorpion". According to Nielsen ratings, it received a 5.4/8 percent share of the audience on first broadcast. "Unity" was received positively by critics, with praise directed at McNeill's direction as well as Biller's plot.

Ξύπνησα μέσα στην πόλη του Ιούδα, ανταλλάζω χειραψίες,
Αθήνα, μητέρα τεράτων σε λάτρεψα σεβασμός στις συνοικίες,
κρατάμε καλύτερα φέτος, πιο δυνατοί, ετοιμοπόλεμοι,
τραβάμε τα ζόρια ενήλικα από όταν ήμασταν ανώριμοι.
Στη χώρα του Ξένιου Δία,
κάποιοι πιστεύουν στο Χριστό κι άλλοι στη μαγεία,
η βία για να πεθάνει θέλει βία,
να σπάσει το κεφάλι του Δελτά με τα βιβλία.
Παράνοια των νόμων και κρίση των αστυνόμων,
φωτιά στο δρόμο των φερέφωνων αγγελιοφόρων,
εδώ, τα όρια καίγονται όπως η Μόρια,
παιδευόμαστε για την παιδεία, δεν καίμε τα ιγμόρεια.
Άλλαξα πλέον τα μυαλά μου,
και έκανα άκρη την άκρη,
σκέφτομαι πιο πολύ,
σκέφτομαι να κάψω τον χάρτη.
Στο ίδιο στρατόπεδο έμεινα,
οι φίλοι μου είναι στρατιώτες,
δεν υπηρετούν το κράτος, τα σύμβολα,
ούτε και είναι πατριώτες.
Από μηχανής πολίτες,
αποτύχαμε στις νίκες,
από τη γη του πυρός,
φλεγόμενος από τις φρίκες.
Είμαστε προσγειωμένοι,
άριστα εκπαιδευμένοι,
δυτικά το γράφω αυτό,
δυτικά ξέρεις τι σημαίνει.

Είπα πως θα με νιώσεις, σίγουρα στα βαθιά,
άλλαξε το στούντιο 3 διαμερίσματα,
και η ζωή μας σε δόσεις λίγα χρόνια μετά,
μας χτυπάει την πόρτα μόνο για μια φορά.
Κι όλοι βρέθηκαν στην κορυφή με τη μια,
θέλουν όλοι να αρπάξουν προτού έρθει η τρικυμία,
όχι με την καμία,
δεν τους δίνω άλλη ευκαιρία.
Οι σκέψεις μας θύελλες,
για να τις γνωρίσεις πρέπει μέσα να πέσεις,
γιατί οι άνθρωποι ξέρεις δεν συγχωρούν,
αν από έρωτα εκπέσεις.
Οι λέξεις μας χίμαιρες,
γιατί μπαίνουν κι απόψε στα αυτιά σου,
αν είσαι μαζί μας, μαζί μας φαντάσου,
αν είσαι μαζί τους κάτσε ξεκουράσου, άκου.
Τον εαυτό μου κρατώ,
ισορροπώ, πάνω απ' το κενό,
θα κάνουν τα πάντα να μη τα πω,
να μην ανοίξω τον ασκό.
Έχω θολές αναμνήσεις από γκρίζες συνοικίες,
αδυνατείς να καταλάβεις που θέλω να καταλήξω,
στα πεζοδρόμια χαράξαμε τις πρώτες εμπειρίες,
και την ενέργεια που τους έδωσα παίρνουνε πάλι πίσω.

Όσα πέρασαν, πέρασαν, τι κι αν κάποιοι ξενέρωσαν,
τα εμπόδια ξεπέρασα, το όνομα μου δε λέρωσα,
φιλιά σε όσους με κέρασαν, σκατά σε όσους με κρέμασαν,
εγώ σε άλλον δεν έμοιασα, το στυλό μου απλά έσπασα.
Κι είπες όλα πως κάποτε θα άλλαζαν,
όλα πως κάποτε θα 'ταν σωστά,
κι όταν σου έδειξα μέσα τη θάλασσα,
βούτηξες και χάθηκες στα ανοιχτά.
Γράφω και ψάχνω να μάθω απ' τα λάθη,
να φέρω τα φώτα μέσα στο σκοτάδι,
πηγαίνω κι εγώ μαζί με το κοπάδι,
δεν άλλαξα 4 χρόνια μετά.
Κι όσο το σκέφτομαι, όλο μου ζητάει,
λίγο ακόμα να έρθω βαθιά,
manhunt, μεσ' το κέντρο μπαμ μπαμ, γράφουν ραντάρ,
απλά run run, θα σε φαν' φαν' με το gun gun.
Όχι δεν είναι παιχνίδι,
λάθος ώρα λάθος μέρος κι είσαι ένοχος ήδη,
όχι δεν είναι παιχνίδι,
λάθος σκέψη, λάθος λέξη είσαι κατάδικος ήδη.
Απλά φοβάσαι να δεις, που οδηγείς όπως ζεις,
η ζωή σου στριπτίζ, την αλήθεια να πεις,
πως άλλο δε μπορείς, συνειδητοποιείς,
ότι είσαι στα σκατά και ότι βούλιαξες ήδη.

Παράνοια των νόμων και κρίση των αστυνόμων,
φωτιά στο δρόμο των φερέφωνων αγγελιοφόρων,
εδώ, τα όρια καίγονται όπως η Μόρια,
παιδευόμαστε για την παιδεία, δεν καίμε τα ιγμόρεια.
Άλλαξα πλέον τα μυαλά μου,
και έκανα άκρη την άκρη,
σκέφτομαι πιο πολύ,
σκέφτομαι να κάψω τον χάρτη.
Στο ίδιο στρατόπεδο έμεινα,
οι φίλοι μου είναι στρατιώτες,
δεν υπηρετούν το κράτος, τα σύμβολα,
ούτε και είναι πατριώτες.
Από μηχανής πολίτες,
αποτύχαμε στις νίκες,
από τη γη του πυρός,
φλεγόμενος από τις φρίκες.
Είμαστε προσγειωμένοι,
άριστα εκπαιδευμένοι,
δυτικά το γράφω αυτό,
δυτικά ξέρεις τι σημαίνει.

Είπα πως θα με νιώσεις, σίγουρα στα βαθιά,
άλλαξε το στούντιο 3 διαμερίσματα,
και η ζωή μας σε δόσεις λίγα χρόνια μετά,
μας χτυπάει την πόρτα μόνο για μια φορά.
Κι όλοι βρέθηκαν στην κορυφή με τη μια,
θέλουν όλοι να αρπάξουν προτού έρθει η τρικυμία,
όχι με την καμία,
δεν τους δίνω άλλη ευκαιρία.
Οι σκέψεις μας θύελλες,
για να τις γνωρίσεις πρέπει μέσα να πέσεις,
γιατί οι άνθρωποι ξέρεις δεν συγχωρούν,
αν από έρωτα εκπέσεις.
Οι λέξεις μας χίμαιρες,
γιατί μπαίνουν κι απόψε στα αυτιά σου,
αν είσαι μαζί μας, μαζί μας φαντάσου,
αν είσαι μαζί τους κάτσε ξεκουράσου, άκου.
Τον εαυτό μου κρατώ,
ισορροπώ, πάνω απ' το κενό,
θα κάνουν τα πάντα να μη τα πω,
να μην ανοίξω τον ασκό.
Έχω θολές αναμνήσεις από γκρίζες συνοικίες,
αδυνατείς να καταλάβεις που θέλω να καταλήξω,
στα πεζοδρόμια χαράξαμε τις πρώτες εμπειρίες,
και την ενέργεια που τους έδωσα παίρνουνε πάλι πίσω.

Όσα πέρασαν, πέρασαν, τι κι αν κάποιοι ξενέρωσαν,
τα εμπόδια ξεπέρασα, το όνομα μου δε λέρωσα,
φιλιά σε όσους με κέρασαν, σκατά σε όσους με κρέμασαν,
εγώ σε άλλον δεν έμοιασα, το στυλό μου απλά έσπασα.
Κι είπες όλα πως κάποτε θα άλλαζαν,
όλα πως κάποτε θα 'ταν σωστά,
κι όταν σου έδειξα μέσα τη θάλασσα,
βούτηξες και χάθηκες στα ανοιχτά.
Γράφω και ψάχνω να μάθω απ' τα λάθη,
να φέρω τα φώτα μέσα στο σκοτάδι,
πηγαίνω κι εγώ μαζί με το κοπάδι,
δεν άλλαξα 4 χρόνια μετά.
Κι όσο το σκέφτομαι, όλο μου ζητάει,
λίγο ακόμα να έρθω βαθιά,

απλά run run, θα σε φαν' φαν' με το gun gun.
Όχι δεν είναι παιχνίδι,
λάθος ώρα λάθος μέρος κι είσαι ένοχος ήδη,
όχι δεν είναι παιχνίδι,
λάθος σκέψη, λάθος λέξη είσαι κατάδικος ήδη.
Απλά φοβάσαι να δεις, που οδηγείς όπως ζεις,
η ζωή σου στριπτίζ, την αλήθεια να πεις,
πως άλλο δε μπορείς, συνειδητοποιείς,
ότι είσαι στα σκατά και ότι βούλιαξες ήδη.

Welcome back MechanicaLEi, did you know that Pythagoreans were the first to deal with regular solids but the Platonists were the first to study Solid Geometry? This makes us wonder, what is Solid Geometry?
Before we jump in check out the previous part of this series to learn about What two and three dimensional Laplace equations are?
Now, Solid geometry deals with the measurements of volumes of various three-dimensional figures including pyramids, prisms and other polyhedrons. It consists of two intersections: First, an intersection of surfaces forming an intersection curve which is the intersection line of two non-parallel planes in Euclidean three dimensional space. In general, an intersection curve consists of the common points of two transversally intersecting surfaces, meaning that at any common point the surface normals are not parallel. Second, Interpenetration of solids when one solid penetrates another solid then their surfaces intersect and at the junction of intersection a typical curve is formed, which remains common to both solids. this curve is called curve of intersection.
In addition to frontal, horizontal or profile planes which offer the principal orthographic views, additional planes are set up so as to be parallel to the edges and faces which should be shown in true sizes. The views projected on these auxiliary planes are called Auxiliary Views and the technique used is called Auxiliary projection Technique. This technique helps promote visualization of solid-solid projection and is mainly drafted out on drawing sheets.

Solid geometry
In mathematics, solid geometry is the traditional name for the geometry of three-dimensional Euclidean space.
Stereometry deals with the measurements of volumes of various solid figures or Polyhedrons (three-dimensional figures) including pyramids, cylinders, cones, truncated cones, spheres, and prisms.
The Pythagoreans dealt with the regular solids, but the pyramid, prism, cone and cylinder were not studied until the Platonists. Eudoxus established their measurement, proving the pyramid and cone to have one-third the volume of a prism and cylinder on the same base and of the same height, and was probably the discoverer of a proof that the volume of a sphere is proportional to the cube of its radius.

Αθήνα, μητέρα τεράτων σε λάτρεψα σεβασμός στις συνοικίες,
κρατάμε καλύτερα φέτος, πιο δυνατοί, ετοιμοπόλεμοι,
τραβάμε τα ζόρια ενήλικα από όταν ήμασταν ανώριμοι.
Στη χώρα του Ξένιου Δία,
κάποιοι πιστεύουν στο Χριστό κι άλλοι στη μαγεία,
η βία για να πεθάνει θέλει βία,
να σπάσει το κεφάλι του Δελτά με τα βιβλία.
Παράνοια των νόμων και κρίση των αστυνόμων,
φωτιά στο δρόμο των φερέφωνων αγγελιοφόρων,
εδώ, τα όρια καίγονται όπως η Μόρια,
παιδευόμαστε για την παιδεία, δεν καίμε τα ιγμόρεια.
Άλλαξα πλέον τα μυαλά μου,
και έκανα άκρη την άκρη,
σκέφτομαι πιο πολύ,
σκέφτομαι να κάψω τον χάρτη.
Στο ίδιο στρατόπεδο έμεινα,
οι φίλοι μου είναι στρατιώτες,
δεν υπηρετούν το κράτος, τα σύμβολα,
ούτε και είναι πατριώτες.
Από μηχανής πολίτες,
αποτύχαμε στις νίκες,
από τη γη του πυρός,
φλεγόμενος από τις φρίκες.
Είμαστε προσγειωμένοι,
άριστα εκπαιδευμένοι,
δυτικά το γράφω αυτό,
δυτικά ξέρεις τι σημαίνει.

Είπα πως θα με νιώσεις, σίγουρα στα βαθιά,
άλλαξε το στούντιο 3 διαμερίσματα,
και η ζωή μας σε δόσεις λίγα χρόνια μετά,

θέλουν όλοι να αρπάξουν προτού έρθει η τρικυμία,
όχι με την καμία,

για να τις γνωρίσεις πρέπει μέσα να πέσεις,
γιατί οι άνθρωποι ξέρεις δεν συγχωρούν,
αν από έρωτα εκπέσεις.
Οι λέξεις μας χίμαιρες,
γιατί μπαίνουν κι απόψε στα αυτιά σου,
αν είσαι μαζί μας, μαζί μας φαντάσου,
αν είσαι μαζί τους κάτσε ξεκουράσου, άκου.
Τον εαυτό μου κρατώ,
ισορροπώ, πάνω απ' το κενό,
θα κάνουν τα πάντα να μη τα πω,
να μην ανοίξω τον ασκό.
Έχω θολές αναμνήσεις από γκρίζες συνοικίες,
αδυνατείς να καταλάβεις που θέλω να καταλήξω,
στα πεζοδρόμια χαράξαμε τις πρώτες εμπειρίες,
και την ενέργεια που τους έδωσα παίρνουνε πάλι πίσω.

τα εμπόδια ξεπέρασα, το όνομα μου δε λέρωσα,
φιλιά σε όσους με κέρασαν, σκατά σε όσους με κρέμασαν,
εγώ σε άλλον δεν έμοιασα, το στυλό μου απλά έσπασα.
Κι είπες όλα πως κάποτε θα άλλαζαν,
όλα πως κάποτε θα 'ταν σωστά,

βούτηξες και χάθηκες στα ανοιχτά.
Γράφω και ψάχνω να μάθω απ' τα λάθη,
να φέρω τα φώτα μέσα στο σκοτάδι,
πηγαίνω κι εγώ μαζί με το κοπάδι,
δεν άλλαξα 4 χρόνια μετά.
Κι όσο το σκέφτομαι, όλο μου ζητάει,
λίγο ακόμα να έρθω βαθιά,
manhunt, μεσ' το κέντρο μπαμ μπαμ, γράφουν ραντάρ,
απλά run run, θα σε φαν' φαν' με το gun gun.
Όχι δεν είναι παιχνίδι,
λάθος ώρα λάθος μέρος κι είσαι ένοχος ήδη,
όχι δεν είναι παιχνίδι,
λάθος σκέψη, λάθος λέξη είσαι κατάδικος ήδη.
Απλά φοβάσαι να δεις, που οδηγείς όπως ζεις,
η ζωή σου στριπτίζ, την αλήθεια να πεις,
πως άλλο δε μπορείς, συνειδητοποιείς,
ότι είσαι στα σκατά και ότι βούλιαξες ήδη.
